    - Staff is super nice - Ube mochi doughnut was okay. The texture was good and was what I expected for a mochi doughnut. However, not enough ube flavor -- it just tasted sweet - Drinks were okay. My husband's fruity drink was decent, but my matcha latte was not good. I've had a lot of good matcha, and this just tasted like grass. I actually fixed it with my own matcha when I got home. Overall, we're willing to give it another shot and maybe try other flavors for both doughnuts and drinks.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, delicious mochi donuts, and phenomenal boba! The interior design and overall vibe are amazing too. The have dipping dots ice cream, coffee, candied fruit and more. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I love this place! It goes without saying that I love boba and theirs is absolutely delicious! I live in Parma and if I'm anywhere near Meridian, I'll go the extra miles to swing in. Everyone that works there is always so nice and I love how bright and simple it is inside. My favorite matcha donut is the crème brûlée. Drool worthy.

Don't come for the boba! I got the royal milk tea with whole milk and it has no taste and the boba was hard and not fresh. The pictures looked so cute so I was excited to try it and satisfy my boba craving... I took a few sips and ended up leaving it on the trash can outside... I was very disappointed

Great service, the crème brûlée was so cool it has a hard sugar top. The boba itself lacked a bit of flavor but the taste of the drink itself was amazing.

The tea was overbearingly sweet to the point it burns your throat. Way sweeter than any juice, lemonade, or soda I've ever had. I wonder if the people who made it even tasted their own drinks, because it was objectively bad and definitely not worth the $7 I paid.

Such a cute shop! Very friendly staff. And then the food came. Started with the creme brulee mochi doughnut. Holy moly. The drink next. Uh. Just go.

We popped in as we were strolling the Village at Meridian. For the price and the quality, I wish we would not have. The boba was not good - not fresh, hard; the royal milk tea was beyond sweet and just not good. I can't remember the fruity drink I got (and their website is down/expired, so I can't look it up) but let's say it was peach and strawberry and mango and the photo showed the (3) different colors. I do not like mango and asked if I could just get peach and strawberry and the girls seemed very confused. I'm thinking they could just not add the mango? It was such a production, confusion, delay to get me a strawberry and peach drink hold the mango. In any event, that wasn't fantastic either. I could taste the strawberry and just really sweet ... no peach taste. I asked for popping boba (I think they were strawberry - I got a flavor to match one of the flavors in the drink) and they were good as popping boba should be. I mayyyy go back to try a mochi donut because I liked those in southern California, but I doubt I'll buy drinks here again.

Outstanding boba and Vietnamese coffee. Come give this new spot a try. You won't regret it.

Finally a legit spot in Idaho where i can have a good and legit Thai Tea with some good Boba! The soft serve had good flavor but the texture just wasn't there. Not like the one advertised at least or like the ones friends have had in California. Also PLEASE make it possible to add other donut besides the plain one to Angel Cone. Hopefully you guys have the Taiyaki soon!

royal milk tea and vietnamese coffee ($6.50 each)

Came here a couple weeks ago after getting dinner at Yoi Tomo and it was our last stop after shopping around black friday deals at the shopping center, so it was maybe like around 6pm ish. Our order: 3 mochi donuts ($10), Royal milk tea ($6.50), and the Vietnamese Coffee ($6.50). Total after tax and tip was $28.77 Our donut choices were Taro, cookies n creme, and chocolate. Pros: The vietnamese coffee was not bad. Cons: Oh boy. so 1. I think the store was legit run by high schoolers - so I do NOT blame them for this because they were clearly trying their best, I really do think my issue is with the product. 2. The mochi donuts didn't taste like mochi unfortunately - they tasted very cakey and not soft at all. We only ate a few bites and saved the rest for the next morning for breakfast. Disappointedly, the next morning they did not hold up well, leaving huge grease stains in the box. My husband thinks they were either overcooked or the oil wasn't hot enough when they made it, super sad. 3. Unfortunate service was just ok - we waited about 20 mins sitting in the shop for my royal milk tea - and we checked in later and somehow they forgot to make it? Probably not their fault because they said the receipt didn't print it - but they were nice and believed us when we showed them our phone receipt (good thing I sent it to myself instead of selecting "no receipt" when I purchased!) 4. The royal milk tea was WAY. TOO. SWEET. Could barely taste the tea. It was so sweet that I could only take a few sips of it by itself. We ended up keeping it to sweeten our coffee and tea the next morning (we legit brought it to the Griddle at brunch and used it to turn my tea into milk tea - even using a 1 sec pour in our tea already made it so. sweet.) Overall, I felt like I did not get my money's worth of dessert. The royal milk tea tastes good only if you take it home and use it in moderation with your own coffee and tea. I disliked that there was no option offered to us to adjust the sweetness. I really really hope this place ups their game because it has so much potential. The inside is literally so cute and picture worthy that the sad product made me really really sad - wanted to love this place so badly.

Ube, churro and chocolate donut! Love potion. Thai tea with boba.

We got a handful of drinks ordered for us and our kiddos. I usually do a fruit tea but decided to switch it up. So I went with the creme brulee matcha today. It sounded legit. I love creme brulee and I love matcha so having them both together seemed like a winning combo! My drink was decent. It honestly didn't really quite look like the advertised photo, that's what sold me as a visual eater. I was hoping for more caramelized sugar in the drink. The matcha was gritty. And it could have been a hair sweeter. The drink was good but it could have been better. I'm sure we will be back. My sister loves this place and with summer coming up, we gotta keep hydrated. I'll probably stick to my norm and grab a fruit tea the next time in.

Boba places in Boise seem to be pretty hit or miss, but this is definitely one of the good ones!…read moreThe staff was friendly and helpful, and while it's pretty no-frills the atmosphere is cheerful and there are plenty of board games if you want to hang out while you sip your drink. One cool thing about Bubbles + Boba is that it's sort of a DIY experience. You pick your size and whether you want boba (they have two sweetness options, if you do). Then, they hand you a cup and you head over to the tea and topping bar, where you can add jelly, popping boba, and tea til your cup runneth over with boba-y goodness. When you're done, they'll seal the top for you, and you're off. It was fun! Added more delight than I would have expected it to. Plus, the tea itself was SO tasty. We'll definitely be back!

It was just us when we walked in. We were instantly greeted by the gal behind the counter. They didn't have as many options today. They usually have about 15 different options. Today there were about 10. Plenty of fruit tea, milk tea and freeze options. I will say their matcha, taro and strawberry milk teas are fire! So good. But since I can't do dairy any more, I headed for the fruit tea options. Today's choice was dragonfuit lemonade with mixed jellies. I love love love this lemonade option today! It's sweet and tart!
