I have been back now 3 times in the last three weeks. Food selection is plentiful, it has all been delicious, fresh and hot! Restaurant staff are attentive, kind and all smiles. Pretty quiet inside though! Hope to give them some love and get a few people to get back in and try them out again. Hash and Brews is a great place for a quick bite to eat with family and friends.

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

amazing customer service…read more We had a wonderful experience at Local Kitchen! Everything was excellent. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff provided incredible customer service. We ordered sandwiches and a burger, and everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the strawberry lemonade--it was so refreshing and flavorful. We'll definitely be coming back. The staff was constantly cleaning and keeping the restaurant spotless, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Our food arrived quickly, which we really appreciated. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our son loved his burger, and our daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwich with added bacon and lettuce. She wasn't a fan of her boba drink, but that was probably just a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. I really enjoyed my hummus and chicken dish. The only small issue was that I had asked for no spicy salsa, but it was still added. It wasn't a big deal, but I hope they'll pay a little closer attention to special requests in the future. Overall, we had a very nice family dinner and would definitely come back!

Public restrooms on ground floor were sparkling clean. Great first impression. 5/5 food selections. Bar area was very cozy with gorgeous views all around. 3.7-4/5 for food flavors/taste. They actually have people wiping down chairs/tables and clearing tables for you. You can order at the cafe place or the Omakase World Market where I ordered at kiosk and waited for my order number. Grab your own condiments. Food was ready fast. Very organized. I drank the organic coconut water $4, had the $6 big chocolate walnut cookie, and $18 chicken sandwich. I think the chicken sandwich was overpriced even when it was listed as $16. Portion size was smaller than expected for this price. It tasted ok, but I've had much better elsewhere. The cool thing about the place is plenty of beautiful spots to sit. Menu variety included pizzas, dumplings, and other sandwich items. Convenient for working class folks around here. There's also beautiful couches and tables by the bar area which also included a pool table, great for relaxation in back. You can see tall buildings/landscape all around. Good place for meetups/work/study/break time. Management has really invested in the place. I hope they open more food places inside. It's a hidden gem for sure. No, they don't open on weekends.

The sliders had this amazing sauce and the patty was cooked perfectly. The crispy broccoli was good but was a slightly bit oily. Wish it was cooked in an air fryer instead. The ambience was sooooo nice. Everything is spacious and makes you feel like you can relax and get somethings done. It's quiet and the bathrooms are clean. The service was good. You order at the bar, and everyone is super friendly and kind. There's also pool and mini basketball arcade games and things like that to enjoy!

There were plenty of tables by the windows looking out at the willow trees and I was happy to snag a spot in the sun. Even though the parking lot right outside was full, there were plenty of spaces in the big lot across the street. I will note that the large lot was completely full by the time I left at 11 am though. I ordered an iced chai latte with oatmilk ($7 after tax) and I thought it was so sweet that the server brought my drink when it was ready. I also appreciate when cafes don't charge extra for alternative milks. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect to, with no password like other folks mentioned. Although the drink was nothing extraordinary, I was happy to have such a pleasant space to work in. I would definitely come back to do remote work if I ever needed a space that is reliable and comfortable.

Parking is quite limited but there is a huge parking lot across that's free. The restroom for women was very clean and beautiful. The doors for the restroom were fully closed with no space for somebody to take a peek. They also have a basket full of free tampons and pads (even pads meant for a heavy period), which was very thoughtful of them to add! There's also a lot of seats so you don't have to worry about that. Most tables came with a plug in on the floor but I found that the tables near the big window didn't have one. Maybe it was just mine though. I ordered a hot chocolate w almond milk and 2 shots which came out to be $10.16. It tasted very standard and not good at all. I don't think it's worth the price since the drink was very mediocre. Service is great though! It started to get busy around 11pm for their lunch menu I believe. There's one area meant for a large group of people to dine. It'd be a great space for meetings or just a large gathering. I think I also saw a table at the back near the restrooms that can be used but I'm not too sure. Overall, good studying place with its amazing natural lighting and pretty weeping willows to look at!
