First off, I love wings. This place has the most amazing wing list I've ever experienced. Not a big place, kind of like a hole in the wall but filled with awesomeness. The whole staff is beyond friendly and very attentive, always asking if there's anything that you need, and if everything's OK. The wings, were just amazing. We ordered the Sriracha bacon, Cajun butter, Cajun, Sweet Asian chili, lemon pepper, spicy honey mustard, and peanut butter and jelly. These were all absolutely amazing and I have to say, the peanut butter and jelly were probably one of my favorites as weird of a combo as it sounds, it just works. My search for peanut butter jelly wings let me to this restaurant. The concept sounded yuck. But I thought of giving it a shot. It was amazing. I never though peanut butter jelly wings could be this good. I am a big fan now. They have 50 - 60 different creative flavors of wings. Of that I tried 4. In that I loved peanut butter jelly the most. Wings were crispy fried and coated with a thick coat of peanut butter jelly. When you take the wings, a little bit of the coating even drips down. There is even a decent amount of peanut butter jelly accumulated in the bottom of the plate. It comes with a side of fluff. There is a lot of peanut butter jelly in the wings and the bottom of the plate, you don't even need to use the fluff dip. Cajun garlic butter is my second most favorite type of wings. It has a good amount of real garlic pieces. If you love the biting flavor of garlic you should definitely go for it. This particular seasoning is a dry rub. There is some spare rub around in the plate. I love garlic and licked every last morsel of the garlic from the plate. What ever you ate or drink from this place, if you had this flavor of wings your mouth is going to smell like garlic. Honey hot bbq was my third favorite flavor. It was spicy and had a good barbecue flavor to it. Kickass bayou was a very mild flavor for my taste buds. It was ok. If you like milder food, this could be a good option. This is a very small restaurant. I went around 4 on a Saturday. The place was full, but fortunately got space in bar area pretty quickly. Anyone who came after me were not that lucky. By the time I finished my dinner, the place was jam packed with people, standing and having beer while waiting for a seat may be for hours later. Even to get out of the place I had to squeeze through people. They seem to have a nice selection of interesting beers. I tried R.J. Rockers Son of a Peach Wheat. I loved it. It had a ting of fruity flavor and had a light taste. I see most of the people having wings and beer here. There were many Harley Davidson parked in front of the restaurant. Excellent wings and great service!! The Dew Drop Inn definitely lives up to all of the hype!! The wings are the best I've had. They are big and perfectly cooked having a great crispness to them. We tried several different kinds and the waffle fries which were out of this world. I was reluctant to try the famous PB&J wings but was glad I did. They were surprising good! They were also very rich so eating 7 is difficult. We also ordered the Honey Garlic Butter, Sea Salt and White Vinaiger, and General Tso's. All of them were delicious and flavorful. Next time I think we'll try the basic Hot Wings and their burgers! We will definitely be back to the Dew Drop Inn! Also extremely impressed with their setup and process for dining during these COVID times. All restaurants should take a cue from them. read more

I grew up in this area years ago and always thought of this place as a motorcycle / dive bar. But the other night I went with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. If your GPS says you are close, be sure to slow down or you might miss it. Dew Drop is a small spot right on the corner. It does not have a parking lot next to the building, but if you are picking up they let you pull up to the door to load up! If you are dining in, there is a small lot just up the road. I had heard so many stories about this place, but it still did not prepare me for the menu. They have every wing flavor you could imagine and a few that you did not even think were possible (they have a dessert wing menu). It all started with a colleague telling us of the PB&J wings served with a fluff dipping sauce. After looking at the list, we decided this was going to be a full tasting event. We ordered 7 dozen, each a different flavor. From the PB&J to the Tikka Masala Peanut Butter, the Candied Bacon and a few in between, we chose a good variety for a tasting event. I had heard it was a small and super popular place, so I tried to call the night before to put in our large order, but the phone was busy all night long. I called 10 minutes before they opened the day of the event. They answered and took my order. I was so nervous that they wouldn't be able to have everything prepped in time because I also had a slim window between meetings to drive down there. They said no problem and meant it. They had our 7 dozen different flavors ready in less than an hour. That alone is a huge win. They also said they give a small discount for big group lunch orders! Another plus to keep in mind. Let's get to the important part! The wings were delicious. They were expertly cooked and crispy! Even after a travel time of 20 minutes, they maintained their deliciousness! Definitely of note because even at some of the best places they are not as good when you get them home. This also tells me I need to get there and try a freshy as soon as I can! Anyway, the wings were great and I have to say, the PB&J were surprisingly good. And yes, of course I dipped them in the fluff for the full experience! My second favorite was the Tikka Masala Peanut Butter. Who knew I would like peanut butter on my chicken wings! All around a unique and fun experience made possible by great service and people. This place is a valley icon, and for good reason. You will not find better wings anywhere around, and though that is also what they're known for, there other menu items are ALL amazing! The burgers are out of this world, steaks are juicy and flavorful, and sides are amazing. The shaved steak wrap is a favorite with horseradish sauce! It was 99% stuffing inside and was mushy and absolutely not good. If it had nice amounts of turkey and consistency it would've been great; stuffing eggroll. Not good. The French onion soup was good. Good flavor and textures. Wings tonight (which Dew Drop is known for) where rubbery, chewy, and really not anything special. Hands down best wings ever. Perfect amount of crispy/crunch on the outside tender on the inside. They have a WIDE variety of flavors. Haven't had a bad one yet. Who would've thought PB J would taste good on a wing. Waffle fries come with a great tasting sauce will warn you it's got a little bit of a kick to it if you can't do spicy. Highly recommend eating hear even if you aren't in the area it's worth the drive. Sometimes it can get a little bit loud and be a long wait since there's not a lot of space on the inside but it's well worth the wait. This place definitely has the right recipe and the rights cooks in the kitchen. Staff is also very friendly. The wings are fresh to order so nice and hot when they come out. The only thing I don't like is that You can't choose multiple flavors if order 10 or more wings. So if you can't choose a flavor can get a little costly. I called in and ordered takeout. I ordered the macaroni and cheese bites along with the jalapeño cheddar wings. There was a small wait when I got there, but it's football Sunday and a bar so I had no complaints. The staff was extremely courteous. My wings were crispy, and I was expecting a cheddar cheese sauce which there was a small amount in the takeout container but the wings had actual melted cheddar and diced picked jalapeños. They were delicious! I absolutely loved the mac and cheese bites, creamy and fried to perfection. The spicy ranch dipping sauce was also tasty. I'd definitely return. read more

Hands down the best spot for wings in Connecticut! The Dew Drop is in a small building and is very busy so with that being said seating is limited! You can make a reservation but they are not required, but recommended. Additional parking is located in a lot on the corner of Park Ave and North Ave. With as busy as they are the service is always top notch.
