Always a solid experience! This review is for take out. I called and was told it would be about an hour. It was Sunday evening on a holiday weekend so the wait was expected. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was asked if I'd like a drink by the bartender. The staff was working so hard in the back- they were busy! Pie came out fresh and hot and was delicious. I love how everything is always prepped fresh daily. The crust is also delicious as well :) Dewey's is great for dining in or take out!

Service always unparalleled. Ordered to take to father in law...met with smiles and the right order: Bronx Bomber with a couple changes!!

In town for a pickleball tournament, our group of 22 found our way to this Dewey's location on Saturday night and were pleased with our experience. We called ahead and were able to sit down upon arrival - one table for adults and another for the kids. We ordered a variety of drinks, salads and pizzas for the group and shared. Everything was delicious! When the kids dropped some of their pizza on the floor accidentally, our server, Jason, brought a replacement pizza. Dewey's offers a fun, casual vibe with attentive and quick service and excellent food. There is plenty of parking in the street and neighboring lot as well. My only complaints: there is no eggplant topping option and the menu is pretty limited. Even so, it was definitely a five star experience. I would absolutely return on future visits to STL.

Dewey's pizza night. Meeting friends for some pizza and beer. It has been a while since we have been at Webster Groves' Dewey's. The menu is lengthy with offerings from speciality pizzas ,calzones and salads. Large selection of toppings to choose from if you want your own style pizza. We (my spouse and I) wanted the Porky Fig but the sauce now has garlic in it. Garlic is a no-no for my spouse. We opted to share the Caprese pizza and I love their house salad and I ordered a half house with refreshing balsamic vinaigrette The summer strawberry poppyseed salad is awesome but they were out of some of the ingredients so we did not get to split the summer special salad. The atmosphere is bright and cheery seating is ample but they get busy fast and tables become scarce. Our food was fantastic fresh crust just the right kind of crispness. Melt in your mouth awesomeness. I was giving this review a 4 at first but given the "We can't control everything aspect I am changing it to a 5. We had ordered a pizza that the sauce changed ,the salad ingredients were out and my beer was warm (new keg) right before bringing it out. The server was courteous and professional. She told the manager and before we left the manager presented a gift card for our troubles. Smart management. Dewey's proved they care for their guests and back it up with pride. Definitely visit Dewey's for a great experience. We will try the Hampton concept Dewey's. It is within walking distance of our house and I will review at a later date.

The food was amazing and the waitress was very nice! They easily split the check for me and my friend and let us have a half-and-half pizza. They had a nice restaurant and a great vibe! My experience at Dewey's was great!

nice, small place with good service! The pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved their ranch. Also nice that they let you split the pizza and get two different kinds. Highly recommend!

SOCRATES' REVENGE & EDGAR ALLAN POE. Specialty pizzas and we were able to get 1/2 & 1/2.

It's upscale pizza with toppings that are unique. I had the pork fig which was great. Carmelized onions fig jam, prosciutto, and Gorgonzola cheese were some of the ingredients. Worked very well together. You can watch them tossing and creating pizzas which keeps the kids occupied. Fresh dough and fresh ingredients on the pizza and salads. Good selection of beers on tap and wine. It's pizza and salad. They keep it simple and do a good job getting the food out. Similar to Katie's but the dough is lighter and chewier where Katie's is thinner and has a crunch. Service was very good and it seems like the servers work as a team taking care of whatever the customers need.

DEWEY DECIMAL SYSTEM! This place sets a new standard for the pizza industry. Perfect crust, soft and puffy. The customer will taste each ingredient with every bite. You don't "Build-your-own-pizza" here. You choose from one of the impeccable specialty pizzas, which were once carefully crafted in Sir Dewey's kitchen laboratory. Each selection so different from the next, yet none have failed my senses. Ryan's Inferno leads the pack amongst their vast creations. Adding the Celery, Onion, and Ranch after the bake changes the infrastructure of the pie. ***The creativity, consistency, and customer service will always exceed expectations. That's what make Dewey's special***

Great pizza in Webster! We got 2 pizzas and a Caesar salad for takeout - they were ready right on time which was great from a service standpoint! The Porky Fig pizza was super good, base of fig jam tasted fresh and it seemed like a perfect amount of cheese. The prosciutto on top added a great salty taste and balanced out the pizza well. We also got the Don Corleone which had some different sliced meats, totally covered the pizza which was great! The crust of the slices were good as well, not too hard. The Caesar salad was just okay, I guess your standard Caesar haha - I was just surprised at the portion vs the price. Overall, this is a nice spot to take family or friends and they offer half half pizzas so you can mix and match easily!

Ask the Community - Dewey’s Pizza

What size pizza should I order for two adults and a child (2 year old)?

17" is for sure the best value, but a 13" is enough food!

Does the Webster groves location have a dog friendly patio?

Unless something recent has changed, I'm pretty sure they don't have a patio at the Webster Grover restaurant

We were seated with our wonderful server, Nina (I believe). She was friendly, chatty, and very knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant itself. My dad and I started with drinks off the cocktail menu...I got a spicy marg (I don't remember the exact name), and he got a traditional margarita. My spicy marg was fabulous! It had a little heat, but it wasn't overwhelming. My dad unfortunately had a mix-up with his drink, but once we let Nina know, she happily made him the right one. It was also delicious! For food, we had the chicken wings, which were incredible!!!! They're crispy, spicy, delicious, and they will absolutely be devoured again someday soon. We also had a house side salad and split the hot dog. The hot dog deserves an entire post of its own. Holy smokes. It is crunchy, smoky, juicy, sweet, deliciousness....if you are a hot dog fan, you HAVE to try this. I will absolutely be back to try their french onion soup and grilled cheese on a cooler day. I was honestly surprised at how busy it was when we arrived at 4pm on a Thursday. I wasn't expecting that kind of crowd, but thankfully I had made a reservation, so we were able to get seated right away. As much as I would've loved to sit on the patio, it didn't look like anything was available, although if you can snag a patio table, I'd definitely recommend it. Inside was packed, with quite a few larger groups as well. Our table was right in the middle of the restaurant, so we had a good view of everything going on. It was loud, but in a fun, lively way. Our server was really friendly and quick. She checked in on us often and gave some helpful recommendations. We ordered drinks and a couple of apps to share, and she left us a full bottle of cold water, which was such a nice touch. We got the pretzel monkey bread, french fries (the best) and the artichoke bean dip. We weren't planning to stay for dinner, just wanted some snacks. The food came out fast and honestly looked too good to wait on. I loved the monkey bread, the pretzel bites had a great crisp to them, and the sauces they served with it were really good. The bean dip was good too, just not as much my thing since I'm not a big fan of dill, so I left most of that for everyone else. Once we wrapped up, we were able to split the check and head out pretty quickly. I really appreciate places that still make it easy to split checks, and even more when you can just pay right at the table with those handheld POS devices.

We were 11th in line when we signed up, and by the time we arrived, we had moved up to 5th. Since it was raining, we decided to wait in the car. When we reached 3rd in line, we were unexpectedly removed from the waitlist. I tried calling the phone number listed on Yelp, which was the same number displayed on the building, but it went straight to what sounded like a personal cellphone voicemail. We decided to go inside anyway and discovered the waitlist wasn't necessary because there were plenty of tables available. The menu had a lot of interesting options, although I wish it included photos of the dishes. We ordered the Hawaiian Bowl, the Truffle Burger, and what I believe was the Blueberry Jam Burger, along with regular fries and sweet potato fries. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and each bun was stamped with the Circle 7 branded logo, which was a nice touch. The Hawaiian Bowl was delicious and generously portioned. I had enough left over for another meal. The atmosphere is definitely more of a sports bar than a traditional restaurant. Every wall seemed to have multiple TVs, making it easy to watch the soccer matches from just about anywhere in the dining room. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Before leaving, we couldn't decide on just one dessert, so we ordered the dessert sampler. The cobbler was the standout--it tasted homemade, especially the crust, and all of the desserts were served with ice cream. The only disappointment was the brownie, which was quite hard instead of soft and fudgy. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the service. The only downside was the confusing Yelp waitlist experience, which could definitely use some improvement.
