Absolutely FANTASTIC! We went here on a Saturday night and was seated immediately and had prompt service with a friendly server. He took time to explain all of the great options of the menu since we let him know it was our first visit. We ordered a couple salads since we were starving and they were amazing and they came out right away. We followed that up with a phenomenal pizza that had the most delicious crust and just the right amount of sauce. Super fresh and flavorful toppings. They have a decent selection of draft beers and EVERY single person working was so friendly and eager to help you since their system is that they work together. We can't rave enough about how much we enjoyed our meal with Dewey's and can't wait to return. read more

Dewey's had two excellent pies. Hadn't been there in at least five years since the kids were in school. Really impressed. So, I've been trying gluten-free options (just so I have some healthier options) around STL since moving back to the Lou and Dewey's is a choice that certainly impressed. A couple of friends (both of whom are gluten-sensitive) and I ordered carryout including the Ryan's Inferno [ordered as is on GF crust] & and Edgar Allen Poe ]ordered without olives on GF crust]. The flavor combos were on point and they were generous with topping portions. Additionally (and surprisingly), the GF crust was just as good as the standard/regular crust I remember from years back. The only 3 areas of improvement I would suggest to Dewey's would be as follow: (1) Improve accuracy and UI/UX for the online ordering as the platform does not quite align with the menu and was a bit tricky to navigate on a mobile phone. (2) Curbside pick up took quite a bit of time before they acknowledged and provided the order. (3) Okay, so given the [small] size of the pies - even when not specifying GF options - I feel that the price is a bit exorbitant and very steep. All that to say that if asked, I would certainly award Dewey's 4.5 stars for their delicious taste and wonderful options. read more

Best pizza I've had in St. Louis, possibly best pizza I've had in any city but certainly memorable. I can eat an 11" by myself which is 8 slices. Consider I do not eat meat on my pizza. Great place! I've had take out pizza from here multiple times and this was my first time dining in and it did not disappoint. We did have to wait for awhile to get seated, but the food was great! Having it fresh out of the oven is even better than taking it to go (which is still great). read more

Have loved this Dewey's location for years. Curbside pick up only. This is the third time I've had a 70 minute wait after my call in order that I've had to wait an additional fifteen plus additional minutes. I get that's not a lot but they have been doing curbside only for months and should have this down a little better. And 1/3 part of my order was missing completely but when they just put it in your trunk you don't know what's there or not until you get home. read more

I guess I've never really been impressed with their pizzas. We ordered the Bronx Bomber for takeout tonight. The meat (sausage and pepperoni) allotment just seemed rather meager, from my perspective. Also, whoever sliced it was careless: the sizes of the wedges ranged all over the place. Call me picky, but I kinda think pizza slices should all be about the same size. read more

Dewey's Pizza has the best food ever. They're calzones are to die for and they're pizza is on a whole different level. They have a few salads all of which are great, my personal favorite is their Greek salad. The service is great, the waiters are always nice and are never rushing you. The ambiance of the place is very chill and welcoming, there is usually some calm music on and it's never too loud. I've been to Dewey's many times, there is nothing like it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who enjoys a good pizza. read more

Dewey's might be my current favorite pizza restaurant in STL. The salads are huge and delicious. Perfect amount of dressing. Perfect dispersement of toppings. And, I especially love their thick, long shreds of Parmesan cheese. It's always difficult to choose which salad to order because I want them all! As for the pizza, I'm all about the crust and Dewey's does it right! Their crust is crispy and thin on the bottom, but fluffy and chewy around the edge. Lots of variety in their specialty pizzas. Or, stick with your own assortment of toppings. You could even split the pizza and try two different varieties. The options are endless. read more

Been going there for years and still think they have the best pizza in town. Located close to Clarkson and Clayton road and very reasonable.

Dewey's has been one of my favorite pizza places in the area. They are a little pricy but worth it every now and then for a nice meal. I love going in and seeing the pizza getting made. Dewey's has gotten better again. When they first reopened after Covid, we went a couple times and ordered out once. The pizza wasn't done in the middle on all three occasions. The crust was limp and toppings and cheese were just warm in the middle. We stopped going for a while and tried again a week ago because we needed something fast and close. It was actually very good. My friends and I were driving down Clarkson Road trying to decide where we wanted to eat. It was between Walnut Grill or Dewey's Pizza. Choosing Dewey's Pizza was the perfect choice. This is not my first time eating there and I really didn't do yelp back when I did eat there. There was about a 20 minute wait for a table of 3 on a Friday night, which wasn't terrible because I've waited up to an hour before on a Saturday night. Service was good, our waiter was nice. Me and my buddy ordered the 17 inch Don Carleone Pizza, which is Pepperoni, Ham, and Salami Pizza. It was incredible. The meat wasn't too greasy for how much there was, it wasn't too saucy or too cheesy, and the crust was light, crisp on outside, soft on inside. My sister ordered a 11 inch personal pizza which was just diced tomatoes and sliced jalapeños. I love how the place is setup. You walk in and all the tables are separated from the waiting area by a wall. They have glass windows where you can see the cooks making the pizzas. Also tables aren't all cramped together, so there was plenty of room. My experience was just as great as all the other times and I will continue to keep going there in the future and I highly recommend that if you haven't tried it, try it, and if you have, keep going. read more

You can tell nothing is made by hand anymore. Conveyor belt for cooking the pizza is a joke. Anyone customer can go to Dominos and get the same style cooking. August 7, Miss C. and I got a carryout. Called ahead, and it was ready when we walked in. We split a Harvest Salad: Greens, toasted pepitos, Boursin cheese, Applewood smoked bacon with apple cider honey vinaigrette. And we split a 13-inch pizza: 1/2 & 1/2 -- Miss C. got Green Lantern: red sauce, mozz, minced garlic, mushrooms, goat cheese, artichokes and pesto. My half was the Bronx Bomber: red sauce, mozz, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, onions and black olives. The salad was amazingly delicious and fresh. The pizza was a ridiculously fabulous combination of tastes and textures. And my pizza lasted two more meals. read more

Pizza isn't bad. Right amount of spice in the sauce, cheese is good, and crust is superior. Unfortunately, in order to experience all of this you need to dine in opposing taking it home. For some reason you would not be able to tell the difference between a pizza you eat there and a pizza you take home. The inconsistency there is insane. We heard from someone who grew up in chesterfield that this place is good so we decided to visit. My hubby loves . I got a half salad and we ordered a 13 inch but half dr dre and half meatball. The peppercorn salad was nothing special. Although the waitress said their ranch was house made and good, it was just ok. It is big for half salad. Dr Dre pizza was surprisingly good. It's olive oil based with cheese, jalapeños, tomatoes, onion, chicken and ranch drizzled on top. Meatball pizza is a red sauce based pizza with basil, and mozzarella cheese. Their crust is perfect! This is hands down my favorite pizza place, and I live in New York! They offer awesome gourmet pizza and salads. My favorites are the Ryan's Inferno and Dr. Dre. They do a great job with the white sauce on the Dr. Dre pizza. The crust is fresh and chewy and the service is great here. They are not selfish with the toppings whatsoever. This is very good place to go for pizza and salads, especially if you are looking to avoid Provel cheese. I love adding the fresh garlic to the pizza and the peppercorn ranch salad is great. Also, don't miss the taco pizza special in May, if you love pizza and taco salad, it is an awesome experience. 4 stars is really due to price, the food is great, but you are paying for it, especially if you put multiple toppings on pizza. read more
