Like always, I saw this place on TikTok. We went here to try their coffee and croffles. I've got to say, this place does not disappoint! By far the best pandan cream top I've had in all my years of living. They had a vartiey of croffles to choose from, and we didn't know which one to get.... They all sounded so good. We ended up getting the banana brûlée croffle as recommended by one of the employees and I gotta say, it was absolutely AMAZING! Another thing I wanted to highlight is the interior. Absolutely loved it. Very good for pictures. Lots of seats but few tables. The one thing I will have to say is the parking situation is a bit iffy. We went at a good time so we found parking in the lot easily. I don't know what the peak times are, but it may be hard to find a parking spot considering the lot is small. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone who's feeling like trying a croffle or having a delicious cup of coffee! read more

stopped in on a saturday afternoon about an hour before closing. packed!! minimal parking. i tried the banana miso coffee and pistachio matcha croffle. got everything to go viet-style coffee. only open thurs-sun, 8 a.m. -- 2 p.m. the coffee has that classic vietnamese flavor from the condensed milk. the menu states this particular drink has caramel and umami. the hint of banana is really nice the pistachio matcha croffle is exactly what it sounds like: a croissant pressed into a waffle the menu describes it as, "lightly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside" definitely had a crisp exterior, but the inside wasn't quite as fluffy as you'd expect from eating a traditional croissant the flavor combination was really good, though neither the pistachio nor the matcha overpowered the other. as a pistachio fan, i would've loved a little more of that flavor i also think warming the croffle a bit longer would've made it easier to eat per the website and menus in the cafe, they offer rotating flavors: "we introduce a new lineup of coffee and croffle flavors inspired by the time of year. as if our signature menu wasn't already enough to keep you craving Di Di every weekend, our rotating offerings give you something new to look forward to. limited-time, always fun, and always worth coming back for." read more

I'd been anxiously awaiting a trip to Di Di's after seeing it pop up so often on my Instagram. My husband and I finally took a weekend to venture down to the Heights and it was so worth it! Not only did Di Di's not disappoint, they far exceeded expectations! The coffee was great. It's the perfect balance of the strong roasted coffee flavor and sweetness! We both ordered the egg cream, but after trying and loving it, I'd definitely be willing to branch out and try other flavors. I really loved the croffles too! Mine was a little too zesty and tangy for my taste, but my husband's banana brulee croffle was perfection. I would order that one next time for myself and make him try something else! Believe all the hype you read, Di Di's really is that good! It is one of my new favorite coffee places in Houston. Coffee is 1000/10. We've been to probably 125+ coffee shops and rarely repeat, but this is one we willingly keep coming back to. The gochujang chicken croffle is EVERYTHING. Unfortunately it's seasonal, which feels rude honestly. My heart will miss it. The shop itself is super cute too. I've seen people camped out playing mahjong and it looks like it turns into a cocktail bar vibe at night. Haven't made it there in the evening yet, but if the cocktails are anywhere near as good as their morning offerings, I'm sure they're top notch. I was excited to try this new coffee pop up at I Know the Owner! My fav coffee is Viet coffee and love to try places that offer different twists to it. The parking lot is limited but we were able to easily find a spot around 11 am. There were several customers sitting inside at that time. The employee promptly greeted us and was welcoming. I got the Pandan coffee because it is my go to for any Asian dessert flavor. I also added ube & cookies & cream croffle & strawberry croffle. The order came out quickly and we decided to take it to go. There were plenty of sitting options and the main area had a lot of natural light coming through. The Pandan coffee was robust as expected and the Pandan cream was fresh and delicious! I would just request to add more ice next time because it did warm up quickly in the car with the increasing Houston temperature. I thought the croffle was unique with all the flavor options. The ube had a good sweetness level but the croffle was little harder than I preferred and harder to enjoy later in the day too. I don't think the croffle is for me because I do enjoyed softer pastry items with my drink but I definitely want to come back & try other coffee flavors! read more

What's not to like about viet coffee and croffles? Everything we tried on their menu was so well executed!!! The viet coffee was strong (imo could have been a little stronger) and the cold foams were not overly sweet and tasted authentic, not artificial at all. The egg coffee was our favorite of the drinks! The banana brûlée croffle blew our minds. One bite and we actually ascended. If you're a texture person, you must try it!!!! Came here on a Sunday morning. It was not crowded, but I snagged the last parking spot. The baristas were friendly, and it did not take long to receive my order. The bar is beautiful, but the adjacent area with tables does not seem to really match and looks much more casual. Even if you are dining in, the croffles and coffee come in to-go containers. It was a real struggle bus to cut the croffles with plastic knife in the to go box- you've been warned. I got the banana miso coffee with condensed oat milk, and it was good but on the sweet side. I needed a straw to mix the top layer in, since it was too thick to drink as is. The croffles were crispy, and my toddler loved the banana brûlée one. The gochujang sauce on the chicken and croffle was not too spicy. All in all, I would come back and try their other drinks and croffles, but with so many other coffee shops to try, it will be a while before I do. read more

Even though I'm not a huge coffee person, Di Di Coffee pleasantly surprised me. The drinks come with four different topping options, which makes the experience feel a little more fun and customizable. We tried the ube and the egg cream, and both were absolutely delicious. 02/22/26 Today I came by because it was the grand opening and they had some seasonal options for the month of February which wasn't available during my first visit. The strawberry Vietnamese coffee tasted like a strawberry puree but creamier, once it was mixed well with the coffee it was both sweet and strong. The chocolate strawberry Croffle has fresh strawberries on it with a nice chocolate glaze and a good crunch to it as well. The wait time was short even though I did have to wait for them to make the strawberry cream but it was worth the wait. I had been wanting to try Di Di for a while now and finally had a free weekend where I was able to. It's located in I Know the Owner which is in a little plaza so parking is doable (not sure when it gets really busy though). I went with the egg cream coffee at the barista's recommendation and the pistachio matcha croffle. The coffee was pretty good; the cream provided sweetness to balance out the coffee itself. I knew the croffle was a mix of a croissant and a waffle, but I imagined the texture to be soft like a waffle. It is in fact a little crunchy/harder like a croissant so think croissant in the shape of a waffle with cream on top. The cream made it quite sweet, but I think that also makes it a nice pairing with some more bitter coffee. I believe the coffee was about $7 and croffle was about $8 so a bit expensive I'd say but nothing terribly abnormal these days. read more

I got the banana croffle and it was just ok. I think it's really pricey for what it is and the croffle itself didn't taste fresh. They tasted premade like they had been sitting out. Fast & friendly service. Well-organized (properly staffed, good flow, layout works for level of traffic). Nice ambiance. Plenty of parking. Coffee was superb. Stopped by here on Sunday with a cycling group. Actually, our destination was a couple doors down but a few of us got roped into Di Di because it looked nice. This is such a cute new coffee shop inside I Know The Owner! They have different flavors of Vietnamese coffee and croffles. We got the Egg Cream coffee and the Red Velvet cream coffee. The Vietnamese coffees are good. They are heavy on the cream topping though so very sweet tasting. I would recommend asking for less cream foam because it overpowers the coffee and almost tastes more like a milkshake in the end. Can be a little sweetness overload when paired with the croffles but still very good. The croffles are nice and crispy! There is plenty of seating inside. This coffee shop is located inside a business called I Know The Owner. The vibes when you walk in the door is amazing. The workers are also really nice and helped me decide on what to order since it was my first time. What I ordered: Red velvet coffee, Pandan coffee, Banana Brulee croffle, and Chocolate Strawberry croffle. I'm not gonna lie when I tell you that I've found my favorite Vietnamese coffee place. The flavor of both coffee was strong but the foam at the top gave it that perfect flavor. The pandan was perfectly creamy and had an amazing coconut flavor. We were excited to try this place out! It is a weekend coffee shop in I Know The Owner (IKTO). If you know IKTO, parking is not great, but it is available in the neighborhood down the street. They serve Vietnamese iced coffees, many with sweet cold foams on top. I got the seasonal banana bread drink and my fiancé got egg cream on top. Vietnamese iced coffee is already sweet, and the cold foams were yummy, but did add even more sweetness. We don't love sweet coffees typically but this was fun to switch it up. The banana bread drink was really good!! I also got one of their seasonal croissant waffles with cheesecake topping. It was delicious but again so sweet, I could only have a few bites. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely loved to support this new business and get some delicious Vietnamese iced coffee near us in the Heights, but if you are not a sweet drink or sweets person, you may not find something for yourself readily here. read more

Di Di is a great Vietnamese style coffee place. This means the coffee is pretty strong so if you don't like strong coffee this might not be for you. They have really good flavor options - I've had their black sesame and egg cream which I loved. I think their TikTok of their coffee flights went viral because when I was there today, it was busyyy. However, shout out to the staff who were all working efficiently, multitasking, and still providing quality coffee and good service. Definitely recommend. Parking is limited and the place is small, so this is better as a to-go option. read more
