Got a simple gel mani & pedi for $55. Came in a little late but the male owner I believe his name is Steven assured me that they would take care of me. They are always accommodating. I always love my pedis from here as the ladies take their time in massaging my legs and are gentle with my cuticles. My manicure was good. I just wish they could get closer to the cuticle as my nails grow very quickly and it only took a day or two for them to look like they've grown out. read more

My nail artist Kay was so friendly and we actually had a great conversation, which made the waiting without touching my phone totally do-able. The salon is clean and air conditioned. I called to make an appointment and they kept giving me the run around and that if I come in 10 minutes someone could service me. So I rushed down for I live 4 minutes up the road and once I got in I was told to have a seat and that someone won't be able to service me until 15 minutes so as I waited frustrated with poor service from the owner herself. I would have thought during this time since nail salons took a huge plunge with business, they would be more welcoming but instead it was very uncomfortable. As I wait through my mask I could smell their chemicals that just made me nausea. I will be taking my business else where. I like it for convenience (close to where I live) maybe I should try Judy Nails in Stadium. Very disappointed! I've been coming here off and on for more than 12 years. It appears they've changed management a few times. I started coming here again because it seemed like customer service had gotten better. So for the past several months I've been returning religiously every two weeks for a pedicure and manicure and each time, I've been very generous with tipping. Unfortunately my experience today changed everything. Be advised this place is charging extra and skimping out and taking shortcuts! First issue with my Gelish manicure: today was the second time the tech tried to skip using the PH bond. I don't know if others experience this, but my nail beds feel like they're burning on fire in the LED/UV during curing if PH bond isn't used. The first time it happened, I didn't know better; so today, when I watched the tech grab the Foundation bottle, I stopped her and told her to use the bond first. Second issue: When I went to pay I noticed the price seemed a little too high. THEY CHARGE EXTRA TO REMOVE THE OLD GEL OFF YOUR NAILS THE PROPER WAY (soaking with Acetone). When I inquired, I was told, "We don't do it that way here." She proceeded to tell me (over and over again) it doesn't cost extra to use the dremel tool to sand down the old product because they leave some old product on your nail and just apply new product on top. I stated other salons don't do it like that and they don't charge extra to remove the old gel product with Acetone and most importantly, I WASN'T TOLD THERE WAS AN EXTRA CHARGE. Now a good manager would've removed the charge. Nope she didn't even offer. I went ahead and paid anyway but they've now lost my business! read more

The staff here are super friendly! Appointments are a bit iffy though (the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars). Even though I called under the impression I was making an appointment, I still had to wait for 20 minutes until work started. The prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the quality of work they do here. This is the first shop that I have found in the local area that does everything a typical nail salon would do. Acrylic, gel, gel polish, ombré, gel pedicures, different types of pedicures instead of just the standard soak and paint and plenty more. They even provided service for my 2 daughters (10 & 7 years old). The shop is small and it seems to always be packed! This was the first indication that they do quality work and was worth the wait. This will be my go-to nail shop from now on, for sure! read more

I had a bad pedicure here a few weeks ago (I don't remember who did it, just that it was one of the gentlemen - he was rushed, unfriendly, and sloppy). However, I was in a pinch for a mani and came back here to give it a second chance. Thank goodness I did! Phuong was incredible. We chatted, laughed about the movie that was playing in the background,and just generally had a pleasant time. My nails turned out great - no chipping or lines, no polish on the skin, even filing, etc etc. And she didn't try to up-sell me on anything or pressure me into something I didn't want. I still like to come ri this place even though there are a couple of employees I'm not to fo d of. Twice I've had to remind the young man who does pedicures, that I'm here for a pedicure. He has taken people back before me after I've arrived first. This has happened on two separate occasions. The guy doing my toes for the pedicure seemed to not want to do my toes as he was huffing, puffing, rolling his eyes and shaking his head. I had gel on my toes and it was hard to get off but he continued to do the pedicure with the polish on and seemed to do half the job. I appreciate Vicky who did my toes after him. Don't waist your time. This is the worst salon I've ever been to. My big toe was damaged by the time I got to my car. And my French gel manicure, it started chipping on the second day. And she didn't even file them right. I spent $80 here, you would think they worked for their money. And I waited at the front for 7 minutes before I was acknowledged. I've been coming here for years. It's a family ran business but seems like all the family left ,seems the quality of work has gone down,ladies seemed disappointed. While getting my pedicure yesterday the lady had to remind the nail tech she needed a top coat missing certain toes. I had been here a couple times before because they're prices were really good for a pedicure. My very last time was very disappointing. I came in for a my regular pedicure and per usual they tried to upsale me on the gel. I don't care to have gel I'm more concerned about my feet not being rough than being painted. The upsale is typical but my lady this day was extremely pushy. She even told me because I was wearing crocs I couldn't leave the store because it would ruin my nails unless I got gel... now I've been to plenty nail salons which normally offer the throw away slippers in that case and/or put you under the uv light. After telling her for the 10th time no she finally brought out the throw away slippers... afterwards I wanted to get my fingers manicured because I had a lot of hangnails. However at the time I was pregnant and working in food service so I wasn't able to get acrylics or paint my nails so I just had her clean me up. She proceeded to charge me the same price for my clean up ( which she also cut me during and I bleed a lot) as she did for my pedicure. I've taken my husband with me to get his nails cleaned up before and they charged at most 10 bucks. read more

I've been here a few times, it's usually out of convience...I typically get helped by the guys...one guy is kinda young he is alright for gel the older guy is good at leg massages but not the best at modern nail styles... if this review was based on my experiences with them they would have gotten 2 stars... however my review is based on my most recent experience with Fawn (sp?). She was really good at doing nails and design. Kinda quiet at first took a while to warm up but she did a great job on my nails...probably my favorite design thus far. She was due any day now and I'm bummed that she won't be around for a while since she will be on Mat leave but I will definitely go back to her when she returns. My nails were nicely painted clean lines and lasted a while. I'm happy I had a chance to sit with her. Hopefully the rest of my experiences here will be as good as it was with her. read more

I wanted a manicure but instead all I got was a fresh coat of gel nail polish. I was very disappointed. I also had my eye brows waxed and in the process had wax spilled in my hair. Tried not to leave a review but I just had to. I walked in a few minutes after open so I was seated right away. A young man did my pedi . The water was lukewarm so that was my first issue no biggie. Then the guy only partly scrubbed my feet didn't even scrub my heel to get the dead skin. when he tried to move on I had to point out the unevenness of dead skin so he half ass went back and did it applying no pressure to remove what I pointed out. He didn't look mad or bothered that I was unsatisfied he really didn't care. He went on to apply nail polish over my previous chipped polish? What kind of shit is that ? I asked him if he wasn't going to remove the dark green polish to apply the pink I picked out this time a bit annoying at my corrections. Umm first of all you didn't scrub my feet all the way and now you trying to paint over my polish? And catch an attitude. He grabbed the acetone and removed. I always tip but couldn't bring myself to at all for a $30 half ass pedi . While checking out I asked the man if he was new he said he had been doing nails for 15 YEARS . Wow and making rookie mistakes. I hope the owner takes the time to retrain and make sure customer service is priority . read more

This review is only for my visit yesterday. I have been coming here for awhile to get my nails done. I usually do a fill with regular polish. And I come every 2 weeks. I always request Steve. He is the best at filling and painting my nails. They always look great. I will even wait for him to finish if I have to. Yesterday when I went he wasn't working. I really needed to get a broken nail fixed and a fill before an event this weekend. I had a younger girl helping me. From the very beginning it looked like she didn't know what she was doing. She kept changing the filing heads like she didn't know which one was the right one to use. She didn't even file all my old polish off before applying the acrylic. When she filled in my nails she didn't make them even with the rest of the existing acrylic. It was way too thin. Then she kept messing up my nails as she painted them. She wasn't paying attention and would get distracted talking to someone across the room and then hit my nail. Then when trying to fix it she messed up another one. She hastily "fixed it" and sent me on my way. When I got home I noticed she forgot to smooth under the nail. She also put acrylic on my skin. I had to pull my skin away which was very painful. Now it just sticks up and gets caught on everything. If I don't see Steve I will just try again another day read more

Got the mani/pedi combo which included the basic for both and was $36. The tools didn't look clean and the files, buffs and pumice were all used on the same people. They clean them in the tubs after but I'm not sure they get disinfected. The "massage" was basically just like getting lotion rubbed on my leg. I can do that myself. They were pretty rough when my cuticles were cut and they were scrubbing my calluses. I haven't had the mani portion yet, we'll see if this rating improves with the 2nd half. Overall, seems dirty and customer service is slightly lacking. Update: got the mani, more of the same. Massage was lacking and came away with polish on my skin for the man and pedi. I'm sure when that washes off it will look good. So overall I got what I wanted which was to have someone paint my nails, but I might get toe fungus out of it for all I know. read more

The only reason I come to Diamond Nails is because it is close to my house. If not for that, I wouldn't bother. I have come here three times, and each time, I have not been impressed with the work that was done. The last time I came here, I was 37 weeks pregnant, and in serious need of a pedicure. I was so looking forward to some pampering for my swollen, achy feet. When I got there, they asked if I had a preference on who did my nails, and since I didn't know anyone I just said someone good! Apparently, someone good translates to the lady who looks like she was on her very first day working as a nail tech. She literally was looking to the woman to her left every few minutes, and the woman to her left was guiding her in how to massage, what to apply etc. She filed my toenails down, but I wanted them even shorter. She said something to the other woman and the other woman said, "Oh, she's afraid to cut with the clippers." Ummm...perhaps you are in the wrong industry, then? So the woman to her left came and cut my nails in like 10 seconds. I also wanted a design, and this lady appeared to not do designs as she was swapped out with a gentleman who regarded me as if I was someone who interrupted his break. While this may be true, it's not my fault that I'm paying for a service to get my nails done and the nail techs on the floor aren't properly trained. The design was OK. I left feeling disappointed. I came again today thinking it had been awhile since I got my toes done and again would love the chance to sit back and relax. Water was nice, massage could've been hotter. The design was not cute. I wanted polka dots (my friend had polka dots next to me and hers were dainty and cute), and when the guy was done, it looked like someone had gone with a blotter on my nails. Big blobs. I didn't realize what was going on until he was already done, and at that point, my friend needed to leave and we rode together. After these experiences, I will not be back to this facility. There are way too many other nail salons in competition to waste time or money at a place that does mediocre work and comes off as indifferent to their clientele. read more

I use to come here often for my nail and eyebrow needs, but no more. First off they charge a pretty hefty price for acrylic nails when I have found places that are even cheaper with their gel nails! Sometimes they are a little rough when grinding your nails and pushing the cuticles back. Never will I return here because of what happened with my eyebrows. I finally got my eyes brows perfect with a beautiful arch and shape, but they started to grow back so I decide to just go in for a clean up on the bottom of the brown and lid area. I made sure I was clear and made it specific that I only wanted to clean up the hairs on the bottom and not to touch anything else and not to change the shape or anything. She said okay I got it. When all was said and done she handed me the mirror and what did I see? Rainbow eye brows! She completely reshaped and took my arch out! I was so furious, I couldn't even speak. My eyes brows have never been the same after that and grow back awkwardly. Only recently have I been able to get a decent shape and arch out of them and its been over 4-5 years since then. I got acrylic nails, and l understand they are not the highest quality but to have them break off in less than 12 hrs? That is ridiculous. 8/18/2011 marked my first ever trip to a place for a pedicure even though I'm Vietnamese and nail places should probably run through my blood. Decided to go to the nail salon after a 1.5 weeks of carrying some mud and dirt on and around my toenails from my super muddy hike K1 K2 (probably my last hike ever there). Now I understand the idea of self-care and pampering with mani pedi. Got to sit in a massage chair (awesome!). Soaked my feet in a nice warm bath with jet streams (so relaxing!). Had my feet massaged as well as the lower part of my legs (wow!). Of course the nail salon technician worked her magic in persistently removing the dirt from my toenails. So my feet are looking good! Diamond Nails I will be back! Got to take care of my toenails, feet, and legs what with all the walking, hiking, and biking I do around here! read more
