I originally contact diamond rodent proofing back in 2022 because we heard some noise up in the attic. Andrew came out and walked the perimeter of the home first, searching for any entry points and then went up into the attic to check things out. He was able to quickly identify trails that mice or rats were leaving and showed me where they were coming from. We ended up hiring diamond rodent proofing to seal up the home from all entry points and to get rid of any rodents that might still be up there after the home is sealed. once they sealed the home and set traps they regularly came out to check traps until no activity was recorded for numerous visits. Once they finished everything, we stopped hearing the rats in the attic. It has been two years since diamond rodent proofing originally took care of our home and we ended up with another unwanted visitor. Well.... We gave them a call and they were out once again right away to address any new issues that were covered under our warranty. Cannot recommend diamond rodent proofing enough. I originally hired Diamond Rodent Proofing in July of 2020 because we had a rat in our crawlspace, which Andrew and crew quickly trapped and removed, after cleaning the crawlspace and covering possible entry points with quickcrete. A competitor had suggested that we needed to cover the ground in the crawlspace with a very expensive rat slab, which Andrew assured us was unnecessary. Several months later, I randomly noticed mice in traps that were left by Diamond Rodent Proofing. Ashley immediately sent out an employee to remove the dead mice and Andrew found and sealed a very small opening in an exterior wall. Problem solved. I'm writing this positive review now because I know that rodent infestation has been a serious problem for some following the excessive rains this past winter, but we haven't had such a problem. read more

They did extremely thorough and careful work patching all the holes and openings in our old and carelessly constructed house. On close inspection, the quality of the work looks very good. They have come repeatedly to check the traps they set (all empty) and also came very promptly to redo a bit of the screening they had installed which had inadvertently covered up a little hidden gadget I needed access to. Called the guys over at Diamond after my neighbors recommended due to our cities overcrowding population of rodent infestations. As a senior and army vet these guys gave a fair assessment for the evaluated work and their price was very reasonable due to material costs and labor. The warranty was generous for 5 years if our property experiences any intrusion diamond will come back to fix the problem. With the amount of preventative work done I would be happy to say I may forget about these guys because the job performed was so good that I haven't heard a noise in months. I have hesitated to write a review for Diamond Rodent Proofing because they could have made an honest mistake because they were in a hurry when they did the inspection. They were two hours late to the inspection and that may have contributed to their error however after much consideration I have decided to share my experience. Andrew from Diamond Rodent Proofing came to my home to give me an quote and spent about 15-20 minutes walking around the house and looking in the basement and then gave me a quote for $3100. This included "return visits until there was no sign of activity and a three year guarentee". He then told me he would give me a 10% discount for a total of $2790. I had sticker shock and called another pest company for a second estimate and they came out and did an inspection and said that I didn't have any signs of a current rat infestation, that most likely a critter had crawled under the house and then left again because there were no signs of a current rat infestation or any other animal under the house (we had heard a noise under the house one night and the dog had gone crazy sniffing at the heating vents). He suggested I plug up the one access hole myself but said if I wanted he could set traps and plug the hole for me (I think his estimate was $300). I took his advice and plugged the hole myself and that was the end of it. Six weeks later and we have not been bothered again so I am confident Got Gopher had it right. These guys did a fantastic job of rodent proofing our home! I would highly recommend them to anyone who suspects they have a rodent problem. I called them after hearing a scuffling/scratching sound behind one of our second floor bathrooms. They were quick to return my call and and schedule a free inspection. Being a new home owner I quickly learned that I need to call a few companies to bid on the same work in order to gauge who seems trustworthy and also to get a good idea of the actual scope of work and how much it may cost. I chose Diamond Rodent Proofing because they did a very thorough initial inspection, they wrote up the actual bid on-site with details of what exactly would be included in the scope of work, they were 1000 percent professional I.e. no sleazy vibes even when they were dealing directly with my beautiful wife, and their responses to our questions made sense and their pricing was reasonable. After scheduling the work, Chris and Dennis showed up on time, when they were on-site they were quiet and they made no mess at all. They took off their work boots whenever they had to access the crawl space or attic. They were super respectful and they didn't mind answering my questions. For my house, they closed any potential access points. They installed new grates where we have vents that face the exterior and they installed quickrete for areas such as odd spaces between garage door edges and side doors. They set traps in the crawl space and attic and have come back to inspect the traps a few times, and so far we are rodent free. No more scratching/scuffling sounds either. These are good guys and good guys are hard to find in an industry filled with cheats and con-artists which is why I'm rewarding them with the gift of a great Yelp review. We called a few pest control experts after finding droppings in our basement. Diamond Rodent Proofing impressed us at each step along the way, from great communication and responsiveness to thorough explanations and a quick turnaround, we had to hire them, and I'm glad we did. It wasn't cheap, but we really wanted someone who would help with the cleanup (as we are squeamish), and it was worth it. They removed all traces of rat presence in our basement while scaring off all but one resident rat, sealed off all potential entrances, and removed the single rat corpse (rip). What a relief! Diamond review I have been dealing on and off for 10 years with exterminators, handymen, and even reached out to vector control. Their approach brought varied results and sometimes more problems. Finally I heard about rodent proofing. Yay I can solve my problem. Until I discovered I had wolves at the door. I got quotes ranging from $950 to $6,500 all promising to do essentially the same thing. They talk about their approach, their warranty and then you read the fine print. Diamond became the diamond in the rough. Andrew very carefully explained the best way to tackle the big picture. Another company suggested a similar approach, but upon reading the (not so) fine print I discover that their warranty would not be valid unless I spent double the original quote. Some other bids offered a more simplified approach, for less money, short warranty and communication was less-than-ideal involving "cat and mouse" games. Pun intended. I wanted a solid solution, with peace of mind. From the minute you encounter the website Andrew offers his knowledge about rodent control. He has a combination of deeply knowing the scope of the work, and business sense to understand customer needs, while balancing the reality that the company needs to generate revenue. As soon as I met Andrew and spoke with Ashley I was immediately confident they were the right choice.
