Beware! I let this shop do extensive front end work to my truck. They released it to me 3 times not dialed in. Each time the truck uncontrollably drifted into oncoming traffic. They had the truck in their shop for a total of 30+ days. Finally they called in a former employee who finally got it right. Certainly sounds like they don't have certified technicians doing their work. I dropped over $5k at this place. You are putting yourself in danger if you use this shop. read more

Do not use them. Our car would not start. They changed the battery and reprogrammed the key fobs. That's understandable. Then they said mice chewed the wires in the engine. Four of them were in on this conversation. One employee said "oh yeah! That's more common than you think. It happened to me" Another said "it happens a lot over in Spring Mill Estates" A few days later, we asked to see the wires. "What, you don't believe me?" was the reply. A few minutes later he said "Well I actually didn't see it. The guy who programmed the keys told me" We had the car towed to a recommended repair shop who replaced the ignition switch. The overall service from the mechanic was awesome and informational. I appreciated him educating me on how long I have to get my brakes before changed. I had all intentions to get the brakes done same day, until the guy with the dark beard was so short tempered and nasty with me for no reason at all, cause I said I wasn't going to pay today. (Was in the process of changing my mind). I asked, do they change both brakes and rotors or just the brakes? (In the hood you can cut the rotors and just replace the brakes) the young short guy with the beard who ubers on the side started talking in a very condescending way about the brake process as if I'm incompetent. I assured him I thoroughly understand. Then the short young guy who ubers charges me $94 for a diagnostic test that never took place and said it was for the brake check. $94 to check my brakes. WOW!! Total discrimination towards me being a female. Not sure if me being black mattered, but definitely scammed me. Just had to get some money out of me. That's when I said, I'm Never going back. I'll give Just Tires in New Castle my $600+ for my brakes instead. Women Be Ware for the short young guy. Everyone else was so awesome. read more

I had an appointment for tires at 9 am. Waited until 10 and the guy called me over and asked Where are the tires were that I was having mounted. I said what you guys were supposed to order them for me. He then said that they will be delivered later that day, never received a call. Got a call the next day at 12:30. Do not go here! I made the mistake for the convenience because I work close by. I got 4 new tires put on and they broke the sensors. They told me one was in pieces and the other 3 all had dead batteries. They tried to tell me it would cost $370 for new ones. 2021 Lexus that's only a year old. He thought the car was a 2018 and told me they "went bad." When you break something fix it. Accountability! It's so hard to find trustworthy mechanics and if you are looking for one. DO NOT GO HERE! my mom got her oil changed her today and she dropped it off at 9:00 AM. She called at 1:00 PM asking about her car for the oil change they said they were gonna be working on it. Next she calls at 4:00PM they say I'll go check on it I'll call you right back they never called her back. so we leave and they close at 5:00 so we get there and it still was never done then the guy says I can do it in 15 minutes well you should've done that a while ago so we just left. read more

My wife texted me in the morning telling me that she had a flat tire so I went in to see her car. Once I saw the damage, I was sure I needed to bring it to a shop to fix. I found Diamond Town Tire Repairs by looking up various local shops and they seemed the most promising. I got the car in there and the staff was very accommodating. I just waited in the seating area, which was very comfortable, and it took about 45 minutes for them to fix it up. Apparently, there was no puncture in the tire and it was just a loose O-ring. They staff didn't try to push any additional purchases on me and the fix only cost me $20. Great service and great work! read more

I needed to replace a severely damaged run-flat tire in a hurry. This required 4 new tires. Diamond Town fit me in very quickly, did a great job and at a very fair price. Diamondtown is well known in the area as a place to avoid but I didn't know that when I wasted my time and money there. The other repair places in the area love Diamondtown because they make money fixing Diamontown's mistakes. I was charged $500 for a coolant leak repair which included an expensive fitting I didn't need and which didn't fix the problem. When I took it back in, they said they couldn't find the problem and basically told me I was on my own. Diamondtown also messed up getting a set of tires. They wasted my time by failing to order the tires correctly and blaming their supplier. The 2nd attempt ended with them telling me the tires I wanted were unavailable but they could upsell me a more expensive set which didn't have the $100 rebate I was trying to take advantage of. The tires I ended up getting had nice raised white lettering on the sidewalls but they installed them so the lettering was on the wrong side. One of these tires was leaking because it was not seated correctly and had to be removed and re-balanced to correct. Be advised that Diamondtown has become so incompetent that they can't even install tires correctly. They will overcharge you for everything and in my opinion can't be trusted with anything. read more

If i could give a -0 star rating, I would. I am in the process of purchasing a home in Delaware but currently reside in PA. My car broke down in Smyrna and Diamond Town was referred toe by family that lives in the area. It has been complete hell since the moment i called this place. They original quoted me $450 to replace my alternator and advised that I would have my car back that day. Once i paid to have my car towed there, they call and tell me they gave me the incorrect price and that it is now $1200 & will take 5 hours. After calling every 4-5 hours, It is now 3 days later and I was advised my repairs are complete & to come pick up my car. I advised them tht I would need notice because I would be ubering from PA. I get to the shop after paying over $100 for an uber for them to tell me now my car won't start, the dealers closed and nothing can be done u til Monday. Now im stranded in Middletown and have to be to work in two hours. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I will absolutely be reporting this business to the BBB, social media outlets, as well as anywhere this company promotes business!! A 2 hour $450 job is now a 5 day $1500+ job and counting. Based on the previous reviews (which I should have checked prior to bringing my vehicle here) they are known for doing bad business. read more

I dropped my car off here on a Sunday night for a Monday morning rotor replacement. They were incredibly quick, efficient and polite. They were willing to tell me what did and did not need fixed, rather than just ripping me off. The price was reasonable and the work done was great. I've used this shop several times in the past for oil changes and a door handle repair. The service was quick and professional which is why I continued to use them for my vehicle service needs. In July 2018, we sent our sons car to the shop for some minor repairs to get through inspection. Those items were minor and fixed however we wanted to do a complete diagnostic work up on the car. We were advised that the car needed a new head gasket. The car sat at the shop for about 3 weeks and when I called for updates, I was told they were waiting for the parts. About a month went by and we finally got a call that the car was fixed and we could pick it up. The cost of the repairs were $1500. Our son was away at a college summer program so the car was parked until our son came home which was about 2-3 days after bringing the car home from the shop. My son was headed to work when the car started smoking, overheating and broke down on the highway. We had to get the car towed back to the shop. The shop called me a few days after to tell me that the car was done. This was very upsetting considering that we just paid $1500 not even one week prior. The worse part is there was no offers to assist or explanation as to why we just paid all that money only to be driven from Middletown DE to Wilmington DE and the car was considered trash. We wasted money at Diamond Town and the staff failed to do their due diligence to stand behind their repairs. $1500 down the drain. We had to buy our son a new car. Worse experience ever and I'll NEVER go back. Customer Service isn't an important factor for this repair shop. read more

My wife went in with her Jeep to have 4 tires put on. $25 per tire is ok for the mounting and balancing but the wheels are special edition Altitude wheels and they took off tape weights and hammered on the ugly outside wheel weights. She asked them to check her brakes and adjust the ebrake if the brakes were ok. The brakes were not determined to be needing replacement yet and then she asked about the ebrake and was told it was $50 because they would need to remove the tires that they just replaced. When I called them today after noticing the weights the other day they said that the tape weights are a special request. SO they removed tape weights on the inside of the wheel and you expect they would use the same type of weights but that is not the case unless you "special request" them. When I asked if they would fix their mistake he said they would charge me. Be cautious and be very specific if you go to this place. Might be better to just go somewhere else. The sad part is we were trying to support a local business and now I will never go back there for any work. read more
