We had a nightmare situation in putting our house for sale. Gas leak started the first day of showings! Parker and Sons took up half the day just to get a hold of them and then they couldn't arrange anything. Benjamin Franklin plumbing came out two days later and spent another two days (12 hours of labor) trying to fix the leak. The customer service was so poor, cost us $800, and it still failed pressure test!!! Called Diamondback 9:30am, told her my woes, and Liz got someone to our house by 10am!!!!!!! THEY FIXED THE LEAK BY 10:42am!!!!!! Southwest gas was right on site and everything was turned back on and operational without leak by 11 AM. I swear these people are straight magic! This review is a long time coming. My hot water tank blew up recently..called Diamondback as my tank was on warranty. Spoke to service manager and he said the new tank would be fully covered. Then said it was a $150.00 stocking fee and $350.00 labor.. for a total of $500!! I was desperate so I didn't argue.. $500 for what should've been free. Do not use this company. They over charge for labor, refuse to provide hourly rate, start projects and accrue labor without discussing and charge credit cards on file without confirming with a written estimate. Truly untrustworthy business practices. There are numerous quality plumbers that communicate pricing before work, email estimates for approval before any charges. I would highly recommend Diamondback Plumbing. I recently had them out to replace a traditional water heater with a Navien tankless, as well as, installation of a softener. Levi was top notch. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail was as if he was working on his own house. As I watched the progression of the installation, I would frequently ask questions to better understand the new tankless water heater and Levi would take the time to explain all the components. With all plumbing projects, you run into a few kinks along the way, but its not that you run into them, it's how you solve them. They surely care for their customers and do what's right. I called DiamondBack Plumbing after another local plumbing company gave me what I immediately assumed to be a highly inflated quote to hydro-jet a laundry pipe having drainage issues. Ozzie and Paul came out within a couple of hours, evaluated the issues, and even took the time to show and explain to me what was wrong and what they planned to do before they did it. Their price was extremely reasonable (a fraction of the other company's quote) and they were incredibly professional, thorough and friendly. After having such a negative experience with a competitor I was leery to trust another plumbing company, but I am so glad I called DiamondBack Plumbing. Didn't use drop cloths when working at the fireplace to install gas log set. Leaned into the ivory chair with his dirty work clothes beside the fireplace instead of walking behind the chair to get the heavy log set. Refused to stand up and walk around the chair after being politely asked to do so. Drug the carton containing the log set on the hard wood floor. Didn't place gas line in agreed upon location. Drilled through the roof overhang. Said he'd caulk or tar around the pipe and didn't do that. Black handprints on walls in and outside the house. read more

Not so impressed. They were very fast to come out to my home, especially after I'm sure they were inundated with calls related to the freezing overnight temperatures. The plumber who came out was nice enough and he opted to put a shark bite (permanent fitting) on the pipe that was leaking. I had mixed feelings about this but I figured he was the expert, so I asked a few questions and then let him continue. I was also assured that there was a 1-year warranty on the labor/parts. Less than 24 hours later, the shark bite fitting had completely popped off and water was gushing out of the pipe. The problem was undoubtedly WAY worse than when I called in initially and it was just a small leak. I called Diamonback and they sent someone out immediately to fix it. After the second visit, I was then told that there would be no further warranty on labor or parts. So basically, if anything breaks again, tough luck. Not exactly the peace of mind I wanted when I decided to call in a professional. I'm hoping that the work that was done today doesn't break again overnight but if it does, I guess I'm on my own. read more

Steve quoted me a fair price to hydrojet the line, we scheduled an appointment the day before the holiday and Mike cleared the obstruction without issue. I'm slightly bias because they are both from Michigan but overall i was pleased with the experience. This was the only plumbing company that came out on a Saturday to fix a leaking and broken garbage disposal which was great. The plumber did a great job and was very fast. The price was a little high, I've used plumbers in the past and almost $300 for 45 mins worth of work seemed very high, I understand that it would be expensive on a Saturday, but it wasn't high due to a "weekend fee" or anything, I was just charged about $5 - $15 for every piece of pipe used (things you can get at home depot for about a fourth of that price.) So i recommend them if you're in a bind and need a plumber right away, but if they charge the same during normal business hours on a weekday, I would use a cheaper plumber. read more

First off I can't attest to the services they actually provide, because no one even showed up to perform the estimate!!! I called Wednesday afternoon and left a message that I needed a quote on a gas line and some plumbing relocation for a full kitchen remodel. Not a small project considering it's a 2 story home and there's currently no gas line in the kitchen. In any case I got a call back Thursday afternoon that they could have someone out to give me an estimate the following morning between 8-12. 3 Hours into the arrival window I get a call saying that no one was going to be available to give me the estimate as originally scheduled. They wanted to either push the window through the remainder of the afternoon or reschedule for this week. I had other plans so I rescheduled for Monday morning between 8-12 again. This time no one showed up again and to top it off they didn't even bother calling to let me know. Needless to say I'll be looking for a different company to help me with my kitchen remodel. I understand that scheduling conflicts happen, but the way I understand it they're using actual plumbers who are out on billable jobs to also do their estimates, so it's no wonder that they don't show up on time considering jobs can always hit snags. But that doesn't excuse 1 no show and a 2nd no call/no show. Diamondback definitely needs look at their bidding process and consider hiring someone dedicated to estimates to actually show up and perform the bids during the scheduled time. If they have this much trouble showing up to actually bid the job, what are the odds that they'll show up to do the work once my kitchen is torn apart. I don't need to be waiting for days for someone to actually do the work... read more

I have a home built in 1962 that has cast iron pipes. It also has (had) about 50 years worth of grease buildup. Every year my kitchen would back up and I would need to snake it. The washing machine would also back up into my kitchen sink everytime it drained. I heard about hydrojetting and decided that could be my best solution. I was a bit worried though, because of the age of the pipes. I wanted a camera run down the pipes to make sure they were in good enough shape to hydrojet. I called many places and was less than thrilled with what they wanted to do or how they tried to upsell me before even coming out. Many tried talking me into having the line snaked with a scrubber. That may have been viable, but was not what I wanted nor what I asked for. When I called Diamondback Plumbing they knew exactly what I wanted and the best way to get it done. They scheduled me promptly and gave me a ballpark quote. Justin P. Came out to my home, reconnoitered the plumbing, and got right to work. He needed to run the hydro jet the full length of the pipes more than once to fully clear it out. He then ran a camera down and showed me the new state of the piping. This alone was worth the cost because it gives me peace of mind. He then, very thoroughly, cleaned up his work area and gave me the bill. When it was all said an done I ran the washing machine and it did not back up into my sink anymore! They were even a few dollars under their original estimate. Who could ask for more? All in all, I would highly recommend Diamondback Plumbing. And Justin P. as well. read more

I called Diamondback plumbing today to replace a water heater. I called them around 9am and since this wasn't an emergency I said the next available plumber would be great. Around noon I received a call that the plumber was on his way. By the time he showed up I had already emptied the water heater and cleared space for him to work. I asked if I should run to home depot and purchase the replacement water heater or if he was going to sell me one. In the end I went to home depot and picked up a water heater and the other parts he recommended. 2 x 18in copper flex lines and a water heater pan. When I return the old water heater is removed and he has installed some steel flex lines instead of the copper ones I bought. We roll the water heater in and he gets everything installed. Parts I purchased $622.89 Parts he supplied $27.27 Fuel surcharge $5 Labor for 90 minutes of work $300 The only things that bothered me was the fact that he kept the copper flex lines in lieu of charging me for the steel ones he found in his truck and that he parked in my driveway and left an oil spot. Other than that I'm happy with the response time and how quickly things were fixed. read more

Brian called me back and said that they had several calls, but he would get back to me. Within three hours he called me back and was out to the house within 20 minutes, as promised. Brian made quick work of a backed up kitchen sink, and I appreciated being able to get quick, friendly service on a Sunday. Thanks, Brian! This company is a complete HACK. I called for a leak in the wall. They sent out a guy who Smelled VERY strong of alcohol. As he tried to put his words together he openly admitted to me that the company only offers Patch Repairs. He said they come out and put a patch to hold you over until the problem needs a permanent fix which is not what I wanted behind my walls. They only use Shark Bite fittings. My dad is a plumbe t and told me these fittings are known to FAIL ,Causing you more repairs and more $$. Go with someone else, this company doesn't have good intentions behind their work. read more

Called today since my water heater was leaking this morning and they are the ones that initially installed it. The secretary took my call, I informed her I looked up the warranty online and that it is active until 2023. She said she would have her supervisor look at it which she then said was expired. I explained to her I was looking at it myself and the warranty said active she asked if an operations manager could call me to explain within 30 min. 3 hours later he calls, was extremely rude, argued with me about the warranty- turns out they were looking at the wrong serial number from a previous water heater. Customer service speaks a lot about a company and today they failed on that. Found another company that was able to take my call and come out today for the repair. read more

We really needed someone to come soon as we had a faucet that wouldn't shut off. Diamondback was very accommodating and could schedule us in 3 days. I have been putting in a pool and unfortunately they hit my sewer line. I was panicky and needed a plumber right away even though it was Friday at 3pm! I called Diamondback Plumbing and the young lady was very friendly and understood my urgency. She transferred me to a manager and writhing 90 min a plumber was there! David McCrary was my plumber. He arrived and went right to work. David had some challenges repairing the line and he never left my detail undone. Even though night was moving in and it was getting dark David did not quit till my line was repaired completely with no leaks. He was GREAT!!! I originally called on Sat. I was told, ill have some one available Monday between 8-12. The availability ended up being a phone call to set up the appointment. I set up the appointment for Wednesday 8-12. Wednesday comes 8.9.10.11.12 no call, finally called, "yep, still on our way, probably close to 2pm". 2pm, no sign, no call, called again "we will be there in an hour". 4:30 pm finally plumber shows up. He looks at the laundry room and says "oh, I thought I was doing something else, this will take 2 hours and the parts shop is closed". We will call to reschedule. Fail! On both phone calls it was mentioned what was needed. It is one thing to show late, it is another to not call and update, and it is egregious to then not even be ready to complete the work. Be warned: Diamondback will quote your job and when you have given them your down payment, they will then tell you that all commercial jobs come first and you are at the end of the line if you are a residential customer. Their scheduling department is complete chaos, and impolite to boot. The owner is aware of all of this and could not care less. The plumber we dealt with was quite qualified, but did the jobs in bits and pieces because he was constantly being assigned to commercial jobs instead of ours. He was also working 10-12 hour days. Find a company that cares about their residential customers and that treats their employees right, and stay away from Diamondback. read more

Came out to give an estimate. Plumber said he didn't have the right part and I could pay $200 to keep their "supply depot" open after hours or come back the next day. I opted for them to come back the next day to repair the leak. The plumber said the office would call with a total and get permission to commence repairs and collect payment. The next day came and went. It's been 6 days and I never heard from them again. Seems my issue wasn't going to make them much money so they completely ignored my business. There are plenty of other great plumbers in the valley that are grateful for your business, I'd look to them instead. read more
