I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I would of missed the event if I wasn't checking out Yelp and checking fellow Yelper's check in's.. (Thanks to seeing Jennifer's check in).. we were actually eating dinner at BJ's across town... I called to make sure they still had dinners available and they said yes and come on down! Purchased three teriyaki chicken dinners.. (all for the out of town son visiting later tonight).. also had a vegan dinner with tofu ..which I should tried as well.. Inside the box: homemade teriyaki chicken cucumber salad, Japanese Rice and mochi. Serving size was rather small.. and you can't expect it to be like the Japanese church (in Sac.) like their food bazaars...more like a sampling of foods.. Cash or Venmo accepted and whatever donation for the meal.. had a nice crispy $20 bill to donate.. Atmosphere was pleasant and a beautiful late Saturday.. So happy I finally checked it out.. looking forward to the next one..
