So It's probably too soon to write a review ,since I just bought a car yesterday. Let me tell you what an AMAZING experience I had! From start to finish these guys truly showed they cared. It started with emails between Latif (salesman) and Tony AKA the note doctor (finance manager). They were quick to respond and answered every question without me EVER feeling like I bothered them. They were both extremely helpful, courteous and FUN. After I decided to look at my beautiful Toyota Camry in person they were there once again to assist in any way. Latif showed me all the little gadgets the car had on our test drive. I felt like family and maybe we all ended up being a little bit too much like ourselves. I think we all forgot it was a professional setting hahah. But that was great! They even offered to buy me starbucks!Tony really worked hard to be able to help me with the financing , I mean he went the extra mile! That's what us Scorpios do though. They made sure the Camry was washed and filled up with gas before I left. Since I left the car I came in at the dealer they were once again super helpful in figuring out how to get that car home. They even offered to buy my old car if I cant get it sold on the street.The Camry itself is great, runs beautifully and I couldn't be happier. YaWow, I am trying to figure out how everyone seemed to have such a positive experience but me! I bought a new car from them a few years back. I had nothing but problems with it. One night driving home from work after having the car for less than 3 months I heard a loud noise in which I thought it was outside construction. Turns out it wasn't construction. I drove home and my husband called the dealer. He was told don't let your wife drive it it needs to be towed. It had something to do with the serpentine belt and had to be serviced. So the very next day as I am driving home from work the day after it was fixed the same thing happened. As I was close to the dealer I took it there. Not only was I treated like I wasn't even there but they told me I would need to again leave the car there and basically dismissed me. I was like so how am I supposed to now get home?. I am first made to feel like I asked an inappropriate question because they will now look around to see if there are any cars available. Huh? It's a car dealer and there are mega cars here. Well, they were kind enough to find me a car and I was told to call after a certain time the next day to be advised of a pickup time. I called several times and was always told that someone would get back to me right away but didn't. I found this to be odd as the other times in the shop they would call me with a pickup time or return my call. Finally very late in the afternoon I received a call telling me to pick the car up. When I got home my husband looked at the paperwork and said look at the miles in compared to the miles out. At least 40 miles were driven on my car that day. Quite a bit more than any test drive. My guess is that is the reason my phone calls were not being returned was because my car was not there and being used for whatever reason. A week later I received a follow up call from a very nice woman who asked me how was the service that I received? I told her about the mileage and she was frankly surprised. She asked me if I would be okay with Mr. Wickstrom to call me to discuss this and I said of course. Boom! No call back ever received and not surprised at all! Never, never again! read more

Everything was really great including my salesman, Latif, and the manager, Tony. My first car purchase went very smooth and I got a fairly good deal. The only problem I had was the pressuring to buy immediately. I wanted to feel 100% about my purchase and they had a problem with me leaving for a bit to check a couple places out. I wanted to see all my options. They asked what it would take for me to get the car right now. Also to put myself and their shoes and what would I do. All I asked was for them to wait an hour or 2. If anything, it made me angry and want to choose another dealer for that reason alone. But, after I went and took my look at a couple other dealers and get confident about my purchase, I went back to wickstrom and went through with the rest. Everything after that was very enjoyable but I do have to advice them against the severe pressuring. It was mostly disrespectful but I get it. They need to sell cars. And I did come back to this dealer first because I had a great experience with my boyfriends purchase there. All in all, a very good experience for my first car. read more

Hands down the easiest car purchase I have ever made. I worked with Jared Wickstrom directly. I had already planned to purchase a 2012 Equinox and was working with several dealers when Michael Seydlitz responded to my internet request. Jared and Michael without any hesitation beat my best price by about $400. In addition, when the original dealer I was working with delayed making the dealer trade for the car I wanted (I believe in an attempt to sell me something off their own lot instead), Jared made the trade no questions asked before he even valued my trade-in or met me in person. Don't get me wrong, we still went through price negotiation and trade-in value negotiation (which should be expected), but at no time did I feel pressured or stressed... we also agreed on trade-in value very quickly ($1500 more then CarMax offered me) and he beat my best price before I ever walked on his lot. The prior year my wife bought a new Mitsubishi Outlander and at the time named all car salesmen "Scum Bags". Wickstrom definitely changed her opinion as we had an extremely good experience working with them. If possible, I will buy from them again. read more

I have been going to this dealership to get oil changes for my cars. I set up an appt for a weekday afternoon 115. I did not get out of the dealership until 255. I realize my car was not the only car there but it should not take an hour and forty minutes for an oil change. I know this dealership is not known for assisting customers or providing good service but asked them if they would be able to contact GM as my car was making a noise for an item which needed to be fixed. It was out of warranty by a year but the part which went was a part which should not go out that early. They said bc it was out of warranty, I would need to contact GM to initiate. To me, they should have taken more of an interest in servicing me, the customer, but no. I went to another dealer and they contacted GM and I was able to get the part replaced for a decent price. This dealership has lost a customer for good. I emailed them on their website a few weeks back and never received a response. Definitely will not receive a response on this site after this review. read more

I'm not sure the previous reviewer was at the same dealership I was. I am SO happy with the sales and service at Wickstrom that I have purchased 2 cars from them in the last 3 years. I plan to purchase another next year. Back in 2008 my 1994 truck died. I had to have a replacement ASAP. They were the first to respond to my search and I picked up the car the next day. The sales staff was fun, respectful, and knowledgeable about Chevrolet. They showed me how everything in the car worked. The service dept was FABULOUS and very accommodating to my demanding schedule. They have bent over backwards to help me on every occasion. I have even brought our 2001 Pontiac there for service. This is one OUSTANDING place! I have sent many friends there for cars and trucks. They have all come away satisfied and they respect my judgement because I research the heck out of everything. When you want to buy a new vehicle forget about shopping around and wasting time that you don't have. Just call, email or come into Wickstrom, you won't go wrong. I stake my reputation on that. read more

I just purchased a 2013 car at CARMAX and it is still under manufactures warrantee. I have had a problem with the radio since purchase that appears to be unfixable at least from this dealership. CARMAX has sent my car to the Wickstrom dealer for close to 30 days and they have yet to find the radio electrical noise problem. As a matter of fact the problem seems to be getting worse and spreading. The radio has been changed, an electrical short has been fixed and now a digital display has been replace. Each time (3 and counting) I went to pick the car up the electrical noise was still quite evident even though according to the dealer the problem had been fixed. Initially I wrote a detailed explanation of the noise I was experiencing on the radio and it seems that it was not clear enough for the Zeigler mechanics to troubleshoot the problem. I have always been a Chevrolet man and hope to continue but this really shakes my faith in "Built in America" vehicles and their dealerships. I guess I should keep an open mind on foreign vehicle purchases next time I need a car. read more
