If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Their catering manager proactively reached out to our company for business, and then completely failed to deliver. Our order was scheduled for noon and didn't arrive until 12:50 PM. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service getting nothing but contradictory excuses--my personal favorite being that "the driver is right around the corner," even though the restaurant is only 0.7 miles from our office. When the driver finally arrived, he told a completely different story than the customer service hotline. It was obvious we were being lied to the entire time. To make matters worse, some of our food was missing, and no one at the store would answer the phone. The catering manager refused to take responsibility, and the store manager wasn't any better. I was told I needed to speak with the franchise owner. That was another disaster--he initially promised a 50% refund, then went completely silent. This is one of those places that you should call ahead of time to ensure they have their items in stock. They didn't have any wings when we were there so they gave one of my cronies tenders as a replacement for it. The rest of us got meat plates. For 5 of us, the total came out to $82.53 which averages out to $16.51 per person. A plate comes with Texas toast, 2 sides of your choice, and a meat of your choice. We just ordered from here with Door Dash for our first time. We've never had this food otherwise. Took about an hour for the food to arrive on a Friday around 5:00 PM. We ordered a variety of sides with our St. Louis style (only one kind that we know of) ribs, a Caesar salad, green beans, and Mac and cheese) for about $1.50 each for sides. We were very sad to find that each side is only about a half a cup. We didn't realize that the sides were just for a single person and not for family style sharing. It probably clearly says it on the website, but with my husbands haste to order, he just went to click click click. I guess the sides are for a single person (not to be shared). That all seems OK (and for the price) for the green beans and what not, but for the salad, it's kind of ridiculous. A Caesar salad is in the same size container is the same as the other sides. That, I think is kind of silly. Feel that a Caesar salad should be more than just a half a cup. It shouldn't be called even a Caesar salad if it isn't more than that. Anyway... We got some dressings - Blue cheese and ranch that comes. There is a little but kinda big cup of Cesar for that tiny half cup of lettuce. But you can use it for your wings and such. We like the dressing. We really enjoyed the flavor of everything. It just seems a little confusing with all the small portions and we just weren't sure about everything for our first time. And again, I haven't looked at the website. I'm just kind of going on about the taste and being surprised when it all came. Now that I am getting into tasting the ribs, they're very, very tasty. They are very infused with flavor and seems they have been vacuumed packed previously. I don't know - it seems like they were vacuum packed with their sauces and what not and then warmed up with a sauce to crisp up that outside layer. The glaze on the outside seems to have been done well before hand and also crisped up as an afterthought to some already cooked ribs with infusion. This review is more for the company than for customers. We will most likely order again & enjoy your lovely food. I have been ordering food online from Dickey's to pickup in store for several years. The last time I ordered online was the end of December 2022. Today, I was going to order online to pickup in store and noticed that Dickey's bbq now charges a $3.99 service fee no matter what you order. And this is not including the tip that Dickey's apparently also wants you to add. Even if you only order a desert that is prepackaged and all the employee has to do is put desert in a bag (and probably doesn't even need a bag) they still charge you a $3.99 service fee. This is ridiculous. The reason I have ordered online for all these years was because they have deals online that you can only get online. Also, when I had gone to the store itself to order, it took forever for an employee to even notice me because they were always too busy and would only acknowledge me when they were done doing whatever they were doing, and that had become very annoying. I wonder if Dickey's charges the $3.99 service fee when you go to their store to order food? I guess I will never know because I will not go to the place to order because it takes forever waiting for them to notice me. It appears that the Dickey's bbq located at 2815 W Peoria Ave may be the only Dickey's that is charging a $3.99 service fee because I looked to see what would happen if I ordered at another Dickey's bbq (looked at 2 different ones) and neither charged a service fee for ordering online and picking up in the store. Unfortunately, the Dickey's bbq located on Peoria Ave is the only one close to me. The other Dickey's bbq are too far away from my address. read more

When asked to choose my makeup dish, I chose rolls (which I did not want) and the staffed continued to mock me for not getting the name of the dish correct. They did not even attempt to lower their voices when making fun of the only patrons in the establishment. The staff spilled Coca Cola down my shirt and the food was inedible. The advertised "beef brisket sandwich" was actually just a few slabs of fat slapped on a piece of toast. I tried giving it a shot since I was starving from waiting over an hour for my meal, HUGE mistake. If you would like barbecue I would recommend saying goodbye to your good friend Wilber before trying this TRASH establishment.
