The potato was cold...after digging through all the butterish substance I finally found the brisket which was cold and mushy to the point I started to question if it was really brisket. Haven't been here in years but was craving BBQ for lunch. This place looks a bit run down and in need of a facelift. There was only one person working there at lunch and he did a great job putting together the meals and handling the register. Thankfully it wasn't crowded. I ordered the Competition Combo plate that comes with Brisket, Burnt Ends, 2 sides and a roll. Unfortunately their Diet Coke dispenser was broken so I had to grab a diet soda from next door. I like how quick and easy it is for me to pick up a meal here. It's pretty fast. Sometimes when there is a lot of online orders it can get a bit slow. It generally has been pretty clean inside. They have different sauces that you can get with your meal. When the pork is moist you don't need the sauce. When the pulled pork is dry I definitely recommend the sauce. Without the sauce the pulled pork is hard to eat. I don't usually get the hot sauce as it is too hot for me. Others might like it. I think they butter the bun. If they do it just makes it tastier. They have lots of locations around. I didn't realize that they have so many stores. They also have soft serve ice cream! It is vanilla with a water cone! So delicious, but I do like ice cream. Smudges on every window and door looks like the place hasn't been cleaned since it opened. 43 bucks for small portions and the potato salad had visible potato bruising. Really decent BBQ. They definitely give you enough bread/muffins. And their bbq sauces are really tasty. The brisket and pork burnt ends were crispy and juicy if that's possible, and full of flavor, without being overly salty. I love their hand cut fries, crispy and I like them a little well done, seasoned perfectly. Their sides were good, I especially liked the beans; they had a sweet tangy flavor. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! My father and I worked at this location for a year, and it was recently sold to a group of people who have no idea what they're doing. One claims to have been a chef and owner of a former restaurant, yet he tried pulling Chicken out of the smoker without checking the temperature after being told to do so.. The list goes on of the things we saw for the 4 days that we stayed with these guys. We were trying to train them, but ultimately it was all through one ear out the other. They even tried telling us what to do and tried changing our hand cut fries to frozen fries. If you're going in for some Mac and cheese, beware because you may end up with Mac and Soup!! It's a complete disaster and I guarantee the health department will shut them down in a couple of weeks. These pictures show some of the things they left behind for my Dad and I from previous nights. Wish I read the recent reviews first. Ordered two "loaded" baked potatoes with meat. There was a decent amount of meat which was nice however, there was barely any cheese (4? Shreds maybe?), and same with the other additional toppings that would go on it. I asked and paid for extra sour cream, which wasn't given. All in all they were both very dry. My co worker and I were quite disappointed. We'll have to take them home for dinner to add better toppings, because the way it came just wasn't cutting it. read more

My only complaint and the reason why I gave 3 stars is the prices are really high and they now charge 50 cents processing fee when ordering online for pickup. It is ridiculous. Who charges a processing fee to place an order? Even though it's only 50 cents, I won't be going back to this place based on principle. I ordered Postmates yesterday in which the worker at Dickeys totally screwed our order up, gave us totally wrong order. So had to drive in yesterday in order to pick up my correct order. They gave me 2 free coupons to a sandwich for a future visit. I figured what the heck and went in for lunch today to claim one. Waited in the proper spot in line for a few minutes. I did not get any acknowledgement after a few minutes of waiting, so thought I had to order at the register. I let her know I was waiting and just wanted to use my free sandwich. She told me I had to go back in line where I was. At which a couple other people walked in. Instead of just helping me out when I told the guy I had been waiting to be acknowledged he said "too bad, get to the back of the line". I went ahead and just walked out. Oh my God i was hungry and i was ordering lunch at an other place close to dickeys barbq. But i decided to order the brisquet sandwitch with a rib on the side. Well first of all the manager called me to let me know that they only had chopped brisket and no sliced at the moment what service. So i got to dickys since i ordered online. Not knowing whether or not my experiance was going to be good,bad,or indiffrent I sat down to have the BEST sandwitch in a very long time. Enormous disappointment... Upon much deliberation on where to order dinner, our family decided to give Dickey's the old college try. None of us had had it before, but we are all BBQ fans and wanted to see what they had to offer. We checked out the menu online and called in our order for the 3 meat meals. We each ordered brisket, turkey, and hot links along with sides of coleslaw, beans, and potatoes. The meals also come with rolls so we thought this would be plenty of food. Boy were we wrong! Our food was delivered and the first thing we noticed was how microscopic the portion sizes were. One meal wouldn't feed a child! To make matters worse they only gave us 2 meats and no brisket so we were down even more food. There were no sauces to accompany the meats and the meats themselves were dry and flavorless. The sides were nothing special either. Needless to say Dickey's was a huge disappointment. The only thing good about Dickey's is that it is cheap BBQ, but that's just what it is.
