I had never been to a Dickey's before and I was thinking I needed to try this one. Today was the day. Very pleasantly surprised. The ribs were meaty, tender and had a nice crust. Not overly spiced which was a relief. I was beginning wonder if my days of eating ribs were over because my blood pressure is a wee bit hight and highly salted food is not good. Rudy's ribs have become inedible and the ribs at Texas Roadhouse sent me into a salt coma. These ribs were really very good. Walking into the restaurant, it smells amazing and makes your mouth water. Lady behind the counter was helping another customer and looked up to greet me and let me know it would be a minute. I was in the mood for a loaded baked potato...it was huge (bigger than my hand). It didn't disappoint. I will be back to try the meats next time. Parking was easy to get in and out. read more

Wow!! So rude. Guy at the front couldn't have been more of a jerk. Picked up food for my son he's 13, cost me $43!?? (plus tip, yes I still tipped) Not coming back. Went next door to get my food at The Great Greek, total different treatment. Service with smile and my large salad was less than half of my son's order. read more

Customer service wasn't what I'd call stellar. Employees were working to close the business down hours before their actual closing time by putting chairs on tables, mopping floors and putting things away. Didn't feel all that welcomed to enjoy a meal there so we opted to take it home. Ribs were way over cooked, brisket was flavorless, no seasoning and little to no smoke (or smoke ring), pulled pork was dry and lacked any seasoning, jalapeño cheddar sausage was ok and the bbq sauce, the 1 or 2 tablespoons that we received in the to go container, was minimal to use to choke down the food. Coleslaw didn't have any flavor, potatoes and green beans were cold from our 5 minute ride home. Sorry to say Dickey's, but you're no longer on our "places to try" collection in yelp and we'll be steering anyone away from your business going forward. Next time try a little harder to attract business instead of pushing it away with the subpar service and food. read more

Ordered Dickey's through GrubHub for my wife and daughter before I left for my night shift job. The order was supposed to delivered between 6:30 and 6:40. At 6:27, I got a text saying the order is delivered. However, there was no picture of the food left in front of our front door. My wife went to check and there was no food at our front door. We checked our doorbell camera and there was no activity at our front door since I left for work. I also called our gatehouse and they confirmed that GrubHub had not come through the front gate. I contacted GrubHub about it and explained to them the situation. They reordered they good for me. However, when the second driver got to Dickey's, the store manager stated that the order was given to the first driver and they refused to fulfill the second order and canceled the order on us. At that point, it was over an hour since I ordered and my wife and daughter were left having to figure out dinner on their own. The store is absolutely not interested in taking care of their customers in good faith. We had way better experience with the Dickey's on Pima Road. read more

What a nice surprise! We were in the area and hungry for lunch. So we stopped at the Dickey's on via de Ventura and are so glad we did. The food was delicious; the portions plentiful and the service outstanding. We had the brisket sandwich and two meat plate. (brisket and pork) An excellent lunch. The potato salad was tasty and the fries were hot and fresh. Brisket was tender and moist and the pulled pork was very good. I don't know why we hadn't been to Dickey's before but we will definitely be back. read more

Barbecue, in this case pulled pork, was excellent, great smoked flavor and the restaurant manager was very knowledgeable about the meats. We did a take out order for a Cardinals tailgating event, and they made sure we had all the utensils and sauce we needed, even including a large pair of tongs for serving. Gotta say I was impressed with this Dickey's and will definitely go back. Also, it's a new location very clean. read more

Went there at 11:45am on a Friday and the two girls working said that they had a huge catering order and told us and several other customers we could not help helped nor take our orders for at least 30 mins. Everyone left. The girl was extremely rude. She had piercings all over her face. Not sure if management knew the situation. In the past I have ordered from this location and, in general, was quite satisfied. But, last week I order a 2-meat special with one of the meats - ribs. Upon arriving home to eat I found the ribs so tough that I had to through them out, and that's quite an action from a rib lover. I called to complain and the nice lady who answered said they had changed rib suppliers and she had heard of this before. Big advice - go back to the old one! I complained on their website and asked for a refund as she directed - no answer so apparently they don't read their own site - maybe they will read this one. read more

We really wanted to like this place but brisket was overcooked and cold, and the mac n cheese is fake cheese. They keep the brisket in a plastic bin in a heating "oven". Literally tough to swallow at $17. Also the place was empty, which should have been our first clue. We'll be sticking with NakedQ. read more
