First visit to a Dick's Last Resort so we came in without expectations after reading the reviews. Like reviews before, we ended up waiting past our estimated time totaling 95 mins total. There was some miscommunications somewhere between the hostess and the Staff which caused them to argue in front of us all. Awkward! The Hostess was awful & uncomfortably that was not just a skit for the restaurant. Rude, clicking her tongue ring when you are trying to talk to her, cussing out her coworkers and bickering with others. Just awkward for guests before the experience even starts. Once we did get seated, you could feel the tension of the staff but our waitress brushed it off and made us laugh with her amazing bit for our table. She really turned our attention back to fun & we wanted to sing her praises. I get that there is a job hiring shortage but honestly if they kicked the hostess to the curbside and found anyone with some work ethic the experience would be great beginning to end. read more

Food and drinks were good and loved the snarkiness from our waitress, she kept us laughing the whole time especially with the writing on our hats. However there was a longer wait than we were told with the whole restaurant mostly empty. Our silverware that was given to our table was absolutely filthy and still had food on it. I was on vacation with family and they wanted to come here (not sure why), so we came here. Service? Well, our waitress was amusing for the most part. Like a lot of other servers some of the jokes were needlessly edgy and totally uninspired...but I'm not sure I could be creative all day long if this was my job, either. The food was decent for what it was (bar food), though they were out of several things we wanted to order that day. Prices? A little steeper than anybody was prepared for. I have been to restaurants similar to Dick's, but this was my first visit ever. We had so much fun and laughed so much during our time here! Even for a large group, our waiter was able to handle everyone's orders, made our time here hilarious, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. My boyfriend and I wanted to split something, so we went for the loaded tater tots with the sauce on the side. There were sooooo many tater tots! We were barely able to finish the whole plate, but it was enough for two, maybe three people. I tried one of the local beers, and it was pretty good. You are given hats to wear with funny insulting sayings on them written by your waiter, and we had a blast reading everyone's hats. The prices were decent and not too pricey. Overall, I had a fun time here and definitely would recommend if you don't mind a little bit of rudeness, all in fun. read more

I've been to another Dick's Last Resort before, so I had high hopes for this one. The food was very good; I ordered the Crybaby vegan burger (I know) and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I did not enjoy the treatment by some of the staff. I understand the appeal of the staff being rude of course, but they should never be allowed to lay hands on a customer. I recently cut my hair pretty short for the summer, which I suppose gives off a "lesbian" appeal. Upon walking to sit at the bar, two male serving staff grabbed me while shouting, "Lesbian walking through everyone step aside!" And did not let go of me as I was struggling to get away. Please do not normalize this in your establishment. Verbal insults and joking is okay, but staff should not be allowed to aggressively lay hands on ANY customer, especially not a woman by herself. read more

Got Buffalo chicken tacos, with no tomatoes. The waitress acknowledged me asking for no tomato by saying "you get what you get" which is just fine because it goes with the restaurant's theme. But then my tacos come out with an excessive amount of diced tomatos (I would like to add that the tomatoes were all held together by melted cheese and it didn't really make it possible to just pick them off without everything else being picked off too), with a tiny piece of chicken on one and a ok piece on the other (tiny piece had no meat in it just breading), queso was fine, chips were stale. The worst part about it is I told the waitress I didn't order tomatoes and showed her the plate and she didn't offer a new one or anything. So overall a very upsetting restaurant, I've ate at a different dicks last resort before and it was good, but this location was unacceptable and you will most likely not get what you payed for, instead you will "get what you get." As for my personal experience, I found the atmosphere over crowded, much too loud and very expensive. The menu had a good verity and was served promptly without errors. Though I found the Full Rack of Ribs to be a disappointment. Over cooked on one end and under cooked on the other. I was certainly expecting a different experience, as it didn't live up to the reviews. Although the companions that I dinned with were in a combative mood. Would want to do this again..? I'm giving a 3 star mostly because the food wasn't anything special. I've had better at less expensive restaurants. The service was decent, had much better there too. I get that it's "the experience" of going here but I'm sure I could find someone to yell at me and say a lot of vulgar things for free and that's really all you pay for. I understand that giving people hats with funny sayings on them is part of the experience, but I think that you can come up with funny sayings that don't all have to be borderline x rated. Every hat I read on other patrons was pretty vulgar and seems they have a bunch in their rotation but don't have any creative ones other than those. Would I go here again? When you go to Dick's last resort you have to know what you are getting into. Our waiter/bartender was exactly what we expected. Made the dining experience hilarious and even involves our daughter in delivering drinks to other tables. We laughed so hard and we enjoyed everyone's hats! Allowed us to join a wait list and fought the -4 windchill factor to come and visit. They had power surge so would be down for a couple of hours. We were Greeted upon rude employees asking why we were in their restaurant as we were trying to get warm and game plan our next step as we did not know this until we walked in. I went here for the first time with my girlfriend on Saturday the 20th 2021. We ended up finding a table in the bar area and had an amazing time. Even the bus boy/bar back, Tyler, kicked ass. Lashanda and Jake were behind the bar, and I'm so glad that we met them. Super fun and super DICKS. If you can take a joke don't go. I would definitely recommend visiting here if you have a sense of humor. Oh yeah and the steak was great and my girlfriend love the crab legs and mussels. If I could give more stars I would. Can I give 6 stars? Ok, walking in, the manager in training gives their opening line, "Service with Sarcasm. If you don't like it, you know where the door is." That's when I first clued in to what we were getting into. Game on. We LOVED it. There were a few disappointments. The fry'd pickles weren't the best. Almost all of the specialty drinks had citrus, which I'm allergic to and the shake machine was broken, so no boozy shake. Otherwise AWESOME! Our waiter was top notch. The MIT was learning the serving side and he was awesome as well. Other servers and customers had us laughing. My boyfriend got the steak and shrimp and said the steak was awesome. We enjoyed our vacation so much in Tennessee. We stopped by Dick's Last Resort in Pigeon Forge for our very first time and it was fantastic! I got a 12 ounce steak for just $20, which is a steal! I wish I would've taken a picture of it because it was an inch thick and cooked to perfection! I didn't even need A1! Our service was phenomenal and we couldn't stop laughing the entire time we were there. The only think I didn't really like was the sticky tables but I guess that's just part of it -- not really a fan of that part. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We were sat at 11:20 and ordered our food almost immediately, within 5 minutes. Food came out at 12:45 after we watched seven tables that sat down after us get our food. It was clear something was missed. This was not due to it being busy, as we were one of the first tables sat.
