Service was fun when she was around, could see in the kitchen area, flirting with the men. Burgers tasted tasted not to par with the price. Chicken wings came out with the wrong sauce garlic parm, no problem. I said I would take them and the bus boy, who was very good, went back to check. I got my BBQ wings that were fried too long and very dry. The kitchen person walked by our table and looked at my wings, didn't say anything, and walked back to the kitchen. Honestly it's fun to go to but for four people plan on spending $200. Wayyyyy too over priced for the quality of food.

In my opinion it was pricey for the food portions. It felt like we were herded through because our entire dinner experience was less than 45 minutes. But it is dicks last resort - the waiters do their jobs. I wish the experience felt more personal, I think they have the same one liners and "hat jokes." It feels like they are recycled every two hours or so. read more

I knew what I was getting myself into by coming, but I did expect good food at least. The server was good overall - attentive despite trying to be "mean" and keeping her act up. Very different dinning experience. I hear several different versions regarding the atmosphere. From humor, personal jokes, paper hats with personalized message from the waiter, and wacky behavior. I was up in Pigeon Forge for a Bachelor/Bachelorette party and decided that Dick's Last Resort would be the perfect place for dinner. Due to our group size (16) we were able to call and make reservations, they don't accept them for smaller groups. We arrived on a Saturday night and it was packed! I heard some groups being given a 3 hour wait time for a table. We did have to wait an extra 30 minutes for our reservation, which was a little frustrating. Our waitress was "Squirrel" and she was fantastic. This probably would have been a 3 star review if it hadn't been for her. She was so sweet and made sure we were all taken care of. She even let us split checks and use multiple free appetizer coupons in our large group. It was very busy that night but she definitely did her best and we loved poking fun at her and she'd dish it right back. She definitely wasn't too "mean" if you're worried about that, but it was still a really fun time. We all had lots of laughs and everyone loved their hats, everything was in good fun. They even did an announcement on the intercom for our bride and groom! The food was decent, not really anything to write home about. But do you really come to Dick's Last Resort for the food? Just an FYI i am Canadian and was told to eat at Dick's Last Resort (Pigeon Forge) but.... When I received my credit statement there was 2 charges at the same time one was tap other was Chip at the restaurant. I called restaurant and waited for a manager to return my call. He did and explained my daughter's bill was put on my credit card after she gave her credit card. So waiter apparently decided to tap my card and put the other bill on my card ignoring hers.... manager said good thing it was family. he didn't seem to care but I believe what he did was fraud. I am currently in talks with my credit department so i suggest checking your bank statement and keeping your receipt if you choose to go to Dicks Last Resort read more

My family and I had a great time at Dick's in Gatlinburg. I admit the food can be a bit overpriced for what you get and parts of it were pretty average, but you can't go wrong with almost any of the appetizers. The main appeal of this place is the atmosphere and the "mean" personalities of the servers. Our server, named John Lavin, absolutely walked the perfect balance between being mean, being age appropriate for our 10 year old daughter and still taking very good care of us. That being said, he will totally roast your table with insults if you come with a group of adults, as we witnessed ourselves. If you go to Dick's, make sure you request John Lavin as your server and you won't be disappointed. read more

It was a group of 4 of us that came to try this experience here in Pigeon Forge. When dealing with the waiter, Dakota, he was entertaining and he took as much attitude as he gave. This was the only part of this experience that I enjoyed. We started the experience with drinks and a sampler platter. The 4 cheese sticks were warm and the cheese was slightly melted inside, the tenders and wings had good taste and the fried pickles were very good (according to my friends.. I hate pickles) I ordered a basic cheese burger with fries. There was more bun than there was beef. It reminded me of a 1980's (I think) tv commercial with the old lady saying, "where's the beef". The bun did not taste fresh and was hard. I really enjoyed the French fries, though. Two of my friends ordered the steak and the other ordered some type of fish. Neither of them thought their steaks were average with both of them giving it a score of 3 out of 10 "at best". The fish scored better with a 4 out of 10. Overall, I would not go to this place for the food as it is a bit expensive and has a "resort fee" since it is located on an "island". We all enjoyed the waiter and his banter he had with us. So, if you want to have a different experience than normal polite servers, this is the place to go. The food.. I would eat somewhere else and just buy drinks. read more

We came here for dinner with our 2 kids and I can tell you we were not disappointed. First off MAJOR SHOUT OUT TO OUR SERVER LENORA!! She was amazing making us laugh constantly and provided is nothing but first class service, with an attitude and insults of course! The food was good we had the fettuccine Alfredo, ribs and wings and nachos. Everything came out super fast and without any issues. We were at Dick's Last Resort this last Saturday with a large group of young couples, kids (as young as 1), and middle aged adults. I can't recall our server's name but he had lots of tats and large guages in his ears. He was AMAZING! He was smart enough to ask ages of our guests, and take things like that into account. The food was great, the best we had on our vacation in Pigeon Forge and hands down made Paula Deen's Family Kitchen seem like small potatos. Dick's food is WAY WAY better and not bathed in salt. If you aren't afraid of the tacky, and have a great sense of humor this is the place for you! Dick's did not disappoint! We will definitely be back on our next trip! read more

went with a group for my birthday. The basket of wings consisted of 3 chicken tenders with sauce for $19.99. Not a basket at all. my son got appetizer sampler. tasted freezer burned and was inedible. Friend ordered a large beer and was barely 10 oz. nephew's steak was very tough. the only edible food was the fresh shrimp and side salad. we will never go back. Had to "settle" on this restaurant since we arrived to our hotel later than expected and missed our reservation at a nicer establishment. My hubby has never heard of this restaurant. We live in Las Vegas and I've been to the one there so I knew what to expect. The wait time for a table was over 90 min but the young man at the host station suggested a high top by the bar and we were seated immediately. Kudos to him (sorry I have no name but it was Sunday night 10/9/22.) We each ordered a Long Island ice tea and it was very good. Forget to check the Yelp list (I need to remember this !!) and could have received fried pickles for no charge (they're $9.95 !!! Wow !!) They we're super salty so they gave us a new batch that we're much better but still lacked any zip. My hubby had the wings and ribs platter and I had the hot Nashville chicken which I thought was a sandwich but turned out to be just chicken on a slice of white bread. Visited with family a few weeks ago. It has a lively environment with TV's all around with games on. The waiter was entertaining with his jokes and such. On the other hand, the food was just average and way overpriced, the beer was even worse. This is a place to only visit once for the experience as there are many other options in the area. read more

We went for the novelty. Me, my wife, and two grandkids, 4, and 5. They were thoroughly entertained as the staff dialed the humor in to the appropriate age level. That would be enough to have a successful visit. But it was much more. Every meal.. was perfect. I had ribs and wings, meaty, juicy, and seasoned to perfection.
