Quick grab and go burger spot! Liked that this location had plenty of seating around big windows.

There isn't much I can add to the many positive comments but I will say this, they have the meats. At first I was skeptical of the limit placed on customizations BUT if you like meat and cheese, then this will bring you vibes of peace and love.

First and foremost they make the food hot and fresh before your card even hits the card reader. Extremely swift service with a positive attitude. I had the pleasure of getting the Dick's deluxe burger with a side of ketchup and fries. The grand total came out to $9.67! Not too bad for a fast food restaurant and pretty cheap in comparison to other burger joints like five guys. The overall quality of burger was truly impressive. There was a sweet tang to the pickles and onions that was remarkable. If you have the opportunity to try this gem of a spot ... do it !!

Came to this location only to have their milkshakes because my mouth was feeling some sweets after an event. This is an indoor version of Dick's that most Seattleites are not used to seeing if they go to or even pass the Cap Hill location a few times; there's seating around the walls and the front counter has several registers and houses the kitchen. It will get really noisy in here the more people there are. Service was actually quite slow given tons of people came from the event and formed several lines up front. I just got their strawberry milkshake since I wasn't hungry. Nothing special, it was a decent size cup and I was satisfied for the most part. It was on the borderline of being too sweet and just right, but that doesn't really matter if your mouth's feeling dry and needs some liquid or something close to it. I do need to get their burgers again though, be it at this location or any of their other ones.

Went during a weekday in the late lunch period and this location was almost empty with instant service. I feel like this place is a staple in Seattle, so I definitely wanted to visit at least once. I like that this location had seating along the perimeter with bar stools. The burgers themselves were ok, nothing too special but I do love relish which I feel like is most of the flavor of the burger. Fries aren't the crispy kind but tasted pretty good. They do charge extra for condiments like onion and ketchup.

Dick's Drive In is something of a local legend. I love their burgers and they are generally quick, consistently good and near free price wise. I've been to every one of them more times than I can count. Except this one... It is the only one with a public interior too. Along the edge there is barstool seating and the middle area reserved for long lines. But back to my order of a deluxe. The lettuce, non-existent. What was there had wilted to nothing. The salt... One bite and I had to throw it away. It was truly inedible. I've never had this happen at a Dick's.

Stopped by for a quick bit of a double patty with cheese, fries and some pop. Having been here years ago I knew the portions were small but wanted something to tide me over before dinner. Very casual with the usual local Seattle characters with seating facing the Queen Anne street and seeing the homeless taking cover on the opposite corner.

Fulfilling affordable burger. Amazing fries. Ready fast. Spacious waiting area. (watch out Californians it's cheaper than in n out)

Burger was good, though I will admit, I'm not a fan of relish. I did enjoy the chocolate shake very much! And the fries were great too! Quick service, menu and staff at the counter were easy to read and quick to order from

We stayed at the hotel across the street and got in from a delayed flight to Seattle kinda late, around 9 at night and saw this place open for dinner. Fast and friendly but food not anything to write home about. The burgers were small and dry. My son did like the fries. The place itself is big and open with only seating around the perimeter. Many people were taking their food to go, including us. Food was cheap so that was a plus but what surprised us out of Towners was the sugar tax for nondiet beverages. A quick google search informed us it's been in place since 2018 and has actually reduced the amount of sugary drinks sold since then so it seems to be working if Seattle wants to cut their sugar intake!

This place is good for the late night eats when you need something filling, sloppy good and affordable. I've had my fair share of dicks lol and it doesn't disappoint. The location is near the space needle and climate pledge so good location however parking can be a bear. We did get a nice parking spot so can't complain. The one thing I would complain about is the non-diet soda tax! WHAaaaaaAT?!? When did this happen?!? since I don't drink pop I'm OK with it but still... Seattle... wow! It def lives up to it its name and nice to see they have been in biz forever!

Whenever I need a late-night meal in Seattle, I know I have to go to Dick's Drive-In! On my most recent visit, we stopped by here just past midnight coming back to Seattle from a long road trip. It was still packed with hungry customers! I ordered the Deluxe Burger and fries. The prices are super cheap, only 8$ (at the time of this review) for the burger + fries. The burger isn't made to order, it's already wrapped up in its shiny McDonald's-esque aluminum wrapper when you order. The deluxe comes with two patties, cheese, lettuce, mayo, and pickle relish. If I'm being honest, the burger reminds me a lot like a nostalgic McDonald's cheeseburger -- the bun is kind of soggy from steaming in it's wrapper, and the patty is rubbery and not that flavorful. I do like the flavor of the pickle relish and sauce, as well as adding raw chopped onions (+20 cents) for that extra bite. The fries are super limp, but I actually like them. They're well-salted and have a delicious distinct potato flavor. Be sure to get an extra side of tartar sauce to dip the fries in for that Pacific Northwest experience! Sorry Seattleites, Dick's Drive-In doesn't hold a candle to In-N-Out in terms of burger quality, but I think it's amazing for what it is: cheap but decent fast-food burgers and fries that's open late at night when you most need it.

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

He said, "No, you got the sandwich." I said, "Okay... so did you make the sandwich I ordered or not?" He said yes. I open it up and it's literally two chicken fingers, fries, and honey mustard. No Philly cheesesteak. So I asked, "If you didn't have Philly cheesesteak, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?" He said, "I don't know, I can put it on the side if you'd like." I said, "I thought you didn't have any Philly cheesesteak?" He walked away, came back with a side of Philly cheesesteak, and told me to put it on the sandwich myself. For $19, I shouldn't have to assemble my own sandwich -- especially after being told you didn't even have the main ingredient. Just be upfront with customers.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I didn't expect much out of these, but they were surprisingly good. The rice is cooked perfectly, sticky and tender, yet each grain is distinctive and almost bouncy, giving great mouthfeel. The musubi seems to be dipped in a small amount of soy sauce, although not enough to cover the entire rice surface. The additional sodium isn't really needed in the first place due to the salty and meaty kick the spam on top gives the handheld snack. It's a classic combination for a good reason! (4/5) For the Food Walk special, they only give a small scoop of mac salad. I'm sure the normal side portion for $5.94 is much larger. The salad is unspectacular but solid. It's a little sweet, a bit peppery, and certainly very creamy. There's a bit of julienned carrot included that isn't particularly crunchy, being soaked in the mayo sauce. The macaroni itself isn't mushy or overcooked, so it still has some texture. (4/5) I don't usually expect much out of food court restaurants, but Aloha Plates definitely surprised me with their quality. It seems like a solid option for Hawaiian.

Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The food was great for all adults involved. Portions of fries are generous and delicious, and come with fancy sauces (none of which appealed to me, but were appreciated by my family). The burgers are really inventive, so we all wanted to try the Lao. It's delicious. I did balk at $18 for just the burger, which is a smash patty (less beef) and I took the cheese, Mayo, and cilantro off. Eighteen dollars! No side, no drink.
