Went to Dicks Sporting goods today to get 2 of my golf clubs re-gripped. Worked with Sam Perkins and he got us all set up with the grips as well as a new putter and I even bought a new set of women's golf flex! Sam was very patient and accommodating for all of my questions and shared experiences of different putters he's used and how they worked! Wonderful customer service! read more

We came by on a sunny Wednesday late morning looking for a "sport seat" to use while fishing. We wondered in and found chairs and stools but not what we were looking for. I friendly associate greeting us and we told them what we were looking for. When the sport seat was nowhere to be found, even though it was listed as "in stock" on their website, they asked other associates, and we eventually found it over in the golf department. Go figure. Their service was super. It was during Christmas and I was picking up a bike to be donated to a young man. Since his Family had nothing. Name fits... they have all their drivers zip tied with security tags. I wanted to buy one, waited and waited to no avail and wasn't alone, others were waiting too. After 20 min I gave up, came back that night and deja vu. Cashier and other employees said golf dude was on break and told me to wait. F that! I asked for the manager and got the stink eye. Whatever guys! You gave up on hunting and fishing, golf is all that's left for me. It shouldn't be that hard to make a purchase! I do love the driver, but won't likely be back. read more

Needing a new pair of swim goggles, I stopped in Dick's knowing They have a small, but adequate swim section. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed. The store is quite large and immaculate! So we'll organized It was easy to see the various departments which were all well stocked. Sneakers, athletic wear, men's, women's, children. Camping. Hunting. Fishing. Baseball. Soccer. Football. Swimming. It's all there! Grabbed my goggles and was on my way in no time! But now that I know they exist in the Dalles, whenever I'm in Hood River, which is often, and I need certain items, I know Dick's is just a short ride away. read more

I went here with my girl hoping for some 5star dining but it turned out mid. I got the double baddie patty without sauce but there was still sauce...not pleased. If your looking for a five star dining experience I would rather recommend a place such as Bed bath and beyond. The cashier a young female around 5'3" was very fat and smelt like pig shit and wasnt nice what so ever. Dont recommend unless you are into guys. read more

I felt so awkward, asking for help, with something I didn't even know if I had a right to ask for. I went to Clackamas Town Center Dicks Sporting Goods to get some Standard size plates for my barbell this morning. I had checked online and determined they had the 5# and 2.5# in stock. I grabbed the 5#s but could not find any 2.5#s. I asked the first sales person who came by and his quick response was, "we don't carry them". I told him that online said they did, so his response was, "we are out of stock", equally automatic. Because I wouldn't just walk away, he called a coworker named Juan. Juan was great! He did bring out some Olympic size ones (wrong size for my bar) He went and rechecked the stock room and apologized for it taking several minutes. He agreed it did say online that they had some, but he'd correct that, and would I like him to check other stores. (which I had already done) (the original "Mr Helpful had drifted off!) In short, although I didn't get my product and the first guy was classically unhelpful, Juan's commitment to customers made it all okay...I will still come back to them once the 2.5#s are back in stock.
