Great place! I played bingo with a couple of friends a few weeks ago. I had a blast. I had wings with sauce on the side. The wings were great and bingo was fun. Ernie and I came here yesterday for their $5.99 1/4lb burgers-fresh-not frozen. We shared a side of fries and two sweet teas. We declined on playing bingo this time around. Saturday night cash bingo This is about bingo announcer Marsha (supposedly GM of restaurant) We are always happy to support and bingo that supports local charities. With that being said Disappointed with the host Marsha for bingo. Im a disabled veteran and my wife is handicapped neither one of us can stand for long periods of time to wait to get our bingo cards. I had informed marsha of this so I wait til the line is gone we have been at dicks for several weeks playing, never a problem all the sudden the line goes away I walk up before she has announced she counted the money or told it was closed out. She rufused to sell us cards, I was very upset since I had just reminded her that I can't stand in the line she still won't let me buy cards. We spent 60.00+ to eat which is twice the minimum to play I feel that certain people get preferential treatment in the past. I am a caller of bingo at another venue we would never turn away money for charity, unless the game was started I would not recommend attending this location for bingo I will never return just me we normally have more people in our group and dicks wings is losing a good customer and word of mouth is either the best or worst advertisement. This Dick's Wings location is on my way home from work and I've picked up wings from here a few times. I usually call ahead and place my order when I'm getting ready to leave. If you're considering wings this isn't the place, wings are surprisingly small and I say surprisingly because when you see them you're going to realize they're the smallest wings you've seen. Sauce wasn't bad we got hot flavor, had a nice kick. The straight fries were mediocre and came with no salt or seasoning. They charge extra for wet or breading. It was a busy Saturday night. There was no room at the bar, so we sat at the table to look over the menu although I knew what I was getting. The in-laws were in town for the weekend and they wanted to grab lunch before they headed back to Charleston to watch the Super Bowl. This Dick's was a bit of a hike from our place. Ratings seemed low but my mother in-law wanted wings so this is what came up in a search first. I got a Full 365 quesadilla with whatever they call their mustard BBQ sauce flavored hot. I thought it was good. There wasn't overwhelming spice and there was good flavor. My wife can't take much heat at all. She had one bite and liked it and then got a little heat on the back end and didn't try anymore, haha. One thing worth noting is their full quesadilla is what I would call 2 quesadillas. A full is one tortilla laid out flat, toppings added and then a second tortilla is thrown on top. It's cut into 8 pieces. I'm guessing a half order would be one tortilla with toppings added to half the tortilla and then the tortilla would have been folded over. The half would have been more then enough. My wife got 5 bacon garlic boneless wings. I didn't try them. The sauce was white and looked more like icing than any wing sauce I'd even seen. She got a side of waffle fries. I thought the fries were good to reduce the heat from my wings. Other than that they were just waffle fries. I didn't get any feedback from the in-laws. He got 15 wings and shoestring fries. She got 10 wings and shoestring fries. Neither of them finished their food. I can't remember what flavors they got. Again the ratings for the Dick's across town seemed pretty low. Unless there some high expectation for chicken wings that I don't know about I thought it was better than average. Maybe the low ratings are because of the service. I was there on super bowl Sunday around noon. There were only about 10 people in the place but there were constantly 15+ tickets up in the window so there must have been a ton of 2go orders. We walked to this place when my car was at the dealership right beside the restaurant. Our waiter was very chill and patient. Surprisingly we did not order wings for a entree but we did get it on our fries. We thought since the fries is a ultimate fries it would be way more topping and sauces on it. I ordered a custom hamburger which you basically pick out your topping. The beef by itself was absolutely no flavor the bacon was the only meat I was tasting. This is the spot for wings and football. The service was incredibly slow and my wings were boneless and naked as I asked for them but they were overcooked. I asked for my sauce on the side, which they were happy to accommodate - I was glad for that! The server had the whole entire restaurant...the bar, the tables....everything I felt as though she was cooking everything too..... We had plenty of tv's around us, we asked for one in particular to show the game we wanted and for volume. She said normally they just play the music (which there was music alright...and loud music at that)....but we did have volume on the one tv, so that was good. I visited this location with my boyfriend since I typically very much enjoy Dicks Wings. Upon walking in, the initial vibe was very unwelcoming. No one greeted us and it took several minutes for someone to notice us once at the register. The clerk was rude and dismissive once we were allowed to place our order. I'll order them at any kind of restaurant because you just never know when you'll find a wing in a rough (LBS). The server herself was fantastic! The food was even good! What was TERRIBLE is that there was a Wednesday Wing deal - Buy 10 get 5 wings free (applicable to boneless wings and traditional). The menu price for 10 boneless wings is $12.99, $13.99 for traditional wings. When this was pointed out to the manager Sandi (who also claimed to be the owner), her response was that we were charged more because we ordered the special. There was nothing to indicate this anywhere, and this was pointed out to her. Her response was to attempt to call the police on our group for "not paying the bill", instead of honoring the advertised pricing. On our way out, she told our entire group numerous times to not come back since we wanted our bill fixed to reflect the correct pricing. We were recommended to Dick's Wings by a coworker and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Three of us went, we had the Florida Girl flavored 10 piece traditional wings, Mild 10 piece traditional wings, the traditional cheeseburger, and onion rings. All of the food was VERY good, the wings could have been cooked about 15 seconds shorter for my personal preference, but I think they were spot on for 99% of the population. Our total bill was about $40 which was a bit steep considering the atmosphere, but the food was enjoyable and the waitress was nice. I've gathered this is a chain restaurant, this particular location is in a ran down strip mall where most of the businesses are empty. The interior of the restaurant kind of feels like someone crammed a bar into Chuck E. Cheese and then forgot about it. A wall of crappy video games, a pool table, 1/4 inch thick carpet basically there to just sop up the spills...it needs a severe remodeling job, but judging by how dead it was on a Sunday afternoon during preseason football, I'm guessing that bank roll won't be fronted any time soon. A bar and a full clear glass store front don't really match in my opinion... But they have about 5-7 TVs so you can watch the game if that's your thing and it doesn't have the same overbearing volume as your local Buffalo Wild Wings so you can actually have a conversation too which is nice. All-in-all I give the food a 4 but the building structure itself a 2, so I averaged it out to a 3. I'd go back for 2 reasons: 1-it's close to home and 2-I don't like how loud their competitors can be during sporting events. read more
