The food is typical diner food and nothing to write home about. However, the prices are affordable, the menu selection is extensive, portions are HUGE, and it's open 24 hours. I come here often for takeout because it's easy to grab and go but they have messed up my order a couple times in the past so it's best to double check. I grew up eating here three or four times a week. Sometimes twice a day. The service has always been great and the food is good as well. I know that whatever I order it will always be the same as it was when I was a kid and that speaks for how well they know the restaurant business. Our dining experience, from the moment we walked in to place our take out order right up to when we paid the bill was pleasant and enjoyable. The staff and the owners, were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were invited to sit outside in their beautiful, newly constructed COVID dining area and wanted for nothing. Our food arrived and the portions were plentiful, our meals delicious, and very satisfying. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you to all of those who we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit. My first visit was on a week day evening. Friendly server, food wasn't bad, big portions and we had to take some home. We asked for fresh condiments to go with our left over quesadilla and the server happily brought them. My next visit was on a Sunday morning. The place was busy and we were immediately seated. Four minutes later the two tables adjacent to us filled up. A few minutes later a server takes their drink orders. We wait patiently for someone to come and our drink order, but no one comes. When the people who came after us get their drinks we politely asked the server if she would take our order, no one has been by and we have been here for 15 minutes. She threw down two napkins on the table and said, "Okay, you will have to wait," and went back to the other table. While we continued to wait we discussed if we should leave or not. When she came back she was impatient while we were ordering our drinks, so I told her that we will go somewhere else because she does not look happy to be serving us. That was my final visit! Energy in the place was incredible. Just good vibes all around. I was coolin with my boys Jackson silver and lil n-word, looking to pre game, grab some fuel, just find a place to generally chill. Wr ordered off the breakfast menu, eggs over medium sausage patties, canadian bacon, home fries, toasted pita bread and a toasted bran muffin with butter on top. I've been going to this diner for about 12 years. Its old but I liked that about it. The food was good and not coming from whatever distributor supplies every single other diner around. Something has changed lately and the food has been utterly disgusting. They're cutting corners everywhere. They try to cover for the screw ups instead of apologizing and fixing it. It didn't used to be like this there, but the last 4 or 5 times in a row that I've been there its been this way. Maybe I'll try it again one day and if its better I'll update my review. read more

I can't say too much. Although I only stop in routinely, the place is okay to use. The wait staff is well organized. Their selection is average, with prices to suit many's budget. Outside of that, this place has got a few problems. The entryway near bathroom is too small, there are a few potholes in their parking lot(but that's beyond this review), and it really isn't in the beat neighborhood(as their is a high school fitness and football track and field very close by, as where this name came from. (When there is a game in progress, do not go in, as the place will be overly crowded). read more

It was super busy when we walked in, but we were seated right away! Took only a couple minutes to get our water and order taken and then in just a couple minutes we got our food! Two cheese omelets, one with onion and one without cooked to perfection. My mom and I are in search of the perfect diner to get a cheese omelet, home fries and a chocolate milkshake and I have no doubt that this is it. We were staying in nearby Woodstock and ventured out a little late (9pm- ish) for something to eat. I love diners, and we chose this place because it had the most cars out front.. We were so glad!! My friends and I have ate 3 meals here during our stay for the yearly Sheep and Wool Festival. The staff is quite friendly and service has been quick. Love how the owner is present in the morning hours and makes it a point to touch bases on each table. The meals are not 5stars but you get much more then you pay for. Whatever this diner once was, it no longer is. A friend got a chef's salad today, to go. It was gross to look at, nasty tasting, the eggs were overcooked and green. She wanted ranch dressing and they gave her a homemade dressing with big chunks of feta cheese - that might be delicious if you want and expect it, but is gross if you were wanting and expecting ranch. She tried to return it, after taking about five slimy bites. The owner was snotty and did not return the money and was not nice about it in any way. I have never heard of such a thing. Restaurant owners are really losing their minds these days. I realize the customer is not always right, but my friend has gotten chef salads there before, and enjoyed them. Maybe new owners? Anyway, you refund a salad if the person says its gross and the dressing had unexpected chunks in it. read more

The service had the "Baltimore, hon" vibe to it and the food came out promptly, like it should at a diner. Don't try comparing this diner to a typical Double T because Dietz's kills it. Prices are dine-reasonable and the atmosphere is liking stepping into your aunt Mable's place.
