    Tofu loaf

Vegan, no garlic no onion restaurant. My go-to place when I have no desire to cook for the week. I order these regularly from their ready to go offerings: Stuffed bitter melon Tofu loaf Bitter melon soup Papaya and tofu I ate in today and had the following: Fried spring rolls - Vietnamese style, wrap it with lettuce and add basil: dipping sauce is great (use the sauces on the tables that they make themselves) Vietnamese pancakes- see pic, the filling is fried tofu, straw mushrooms, bean sprouts

The bun rieu chay was so good! Excellent food and superb customer service. Each meal comes with high-quality tea.

This is my new favorite soup. It's a combination of egg and rice noodles combined. Everything is made from vegetables even the shrimp. The top is fried tofu skin. It's number 16 on the soup for $16, So good!

They recently rebranded to Dieu Huong Vegetarian Restaurant. As the reviews have stated there's not much seating inside, only 4 tables, so it's mostly a takeout restaurant. We were able to make a reservation for 2 with Google though. The service was fast and friendly. Our server made nice conversation with us and they helped us pack our leftovers to go. We got #6 Hue Vegetarian Spicy Noodle Soup and #9 Vegetarian Rice Vermicelli Soup. We both enjoyed #6 the best and it is the house special. It was not too spicy. The soups had a generous amount of toppings including multiple kinda of mushrooms, tofu and seitan. A great place for vegans/vegetarians to get Vietnamese noodle soup!

The staff here is super nice. They help me with picking the dishes and explaining what each dishes name is. This place is located in eden center near hai duong entrance. They officially changed their name to Dieu Huong. They have small seating place so perfect for 4-5 people group but not more. The service is quick and staff is nice. Food have a lot of variety and have soup, saute, seasoning all kinds. They have "lobsters", "shrimps" , "sausage" . Price is decent as well. I bought a lot of food for $65, enough food for a week. Spring roll is a bit oily but the seasoning is good!

Located in a small store within Eden center, this cute locally owned shop was run by a few individuals and they were all so sweet! They recommended certain items on the menu and were very attentive to each table in the restaurant including us. The food was good and I so was surprised that all of it was vegan!

Ok... #1 BRING CASH! No cards accepted. #2 find the large neon "Saigon West" sign outside of the building to find the entrance. You'll find this in a strip mall of sorts. I say of sorts, because I quite literally just left the United States for the past two hours. I've never seen anything like this in the US... I legit felt like I just got transported back to Asia. It was pretty much the coolest thing I've seen in a while. This restaurant is all vegetarian, but really vegan as well, heavy in tofu options. Only about 3-4 tables, so limited space. But the food was really hot and tasty, especially in such a cold day. Limited English, but when they realized I was trying to check on an allergy, they switched servers to ensure they could help answer my question. They let us eat our meal without interruptions, we stayed for a while, and they were there to help us immediately when needed. The Onnnnly thing I wish is that it was a little cleaner. Saw some bugs, but for the whole experience, just pretend you're legit in Asia and soak it all in.

viet vegetarian casual canteen style restaurant. they have vegan mam ruot (fermented fishy sauce) that often accompanies bun rieu, bun bo hue, and bun mam. i'm pleasantly surprised they even serve bun mam! it's rare to find a vietnamese vegan restaurant, let alone for them to offer so many classic vietnamese foods. people seem to come in for more take out orders than eating in. these super nice viet ladies make the food fresh every day. i came in on tuesday morning and my bun bo hue chay took 3mins to bring out to me. i'm so satisfied and cannot wait to introduce this spot to my parents!

In order to access this restaurant, you have to go inside the tiny "mall" that is in the Eden Center. This place is very small and can probably only seat around 15-20 people. Very strong hole-in-the-wall vibes. Unfortunately, it's not one of those hidden gems, in my opinion. I came with someone who had been here before, and we ended up getting one of their dishes in which they give you rice and then a bunch of mixed food on top of it. Everyone ends up with something different. The food itself was quite good, and a lot of the food tasted quite meaty even though this place is vegetarian. However, the food was lukewarm, which really took away from the experience. In addition, they were shooting off firecrackers for New Year's inside the restaurant. They were extremely loud and the firecrackers went on for over a minute when they would shoot them off (which seemed to be at random intervals too).

Another great meal at this little hidden gem. The staff here are super nice. Last visit it's apparent that they're redecorating the restaurant. Ordered my usual, the broken rice with tofu cake. Fantastic! Comes with a side soup. Also had the garden roll and truly enjoyed it. Perfect with their green tea.

Vegetarian Bun bo hue! Better than the "meat" version

Wow!! Absolutely blown away that this place is 100% vegetarian as the flavors in their food are beyond fantastic! Definitely my new Veggie Eden!! I had (or destroyed rather) their Bun Hue Chay which is a vegetarian version of the Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue beef soup. It had all the beautiful rich intense flavors of the soup without the fat, blood, bones etc they use to make the soup more hearty. All the vegetables in there were so fresh I would believe it if they were harvested that day!! Plus they give you so much food!!! I loved the broth the most - made with hearty mushrooms and carrots with seasoning, perfectly cooked noodles, vegan "ham," lots and lots of herbs and bean sprouts. YUM!!! I crave this soup now almost every day! Do yourself a favor, If you love noodle soups as much as I do, you've gotta give this place in Eden Center a try! Tips: cash only. Parking in private but very busy lot!! They have premade vegetable dishes to go! Very vegetarian and vegan friendly!

It was so hot and all I wanted was cold but zesty vermicelli noodles so I drove out to Eden Center to satiate that craving. I've been going to Eden center for years and had never seen the little hallway/indoor shops where Thanh Van Restaurant is located. I found this restaurant after looking through Yelp and gave it a try, and needless to say, I will absolutely be back. The portions are HUGE, and the food is just...incredible. It's all vegetarian and now I want to bring all of my plant-based friends here to experience the food. It's cash only and be sure to bring extra cash in case any of the hot bar or prepared cold dishes catch your eye!

I'd give 10,000 stars if I could. This place is absolutely amazing, the bestttttttttttttt vegetarian Vietnamese food ever. Some of my favorites: Their mixed salad, Open food item, Bun hue noodle soup!!!! (This you have to get) Just love love it

    Bun Chay with spring rolls

Incredible, noodles were cooked well, tons of fresh crunchy and flavorful veggies. Spring rolls were delicious, pickled carrots and daikon were my favorite ever and the vegan fish sauce was perfection. Everything feels very clean and fresh, so nice to not have to worry about cross contamination. This spot is a true gem, so much variety, the people working are kind, I could not recommend it more. We are visiting in the area for a while and plan to come back many times and any time we're back around dc. The parking and finding the place isn't bad at all, it's in the Saigon west building, if you just walk the hallways you'll see it no problem. Truly phenomenal Vietnamese food, if you're reading this review just go, you'll be so happy you did.

That was a big mistake because Truong Tien is inside and it is amazing! My son and I started with Banh Beo Nhan Kho Tom Chay, a dish of steamed rice cake topped with fried shallots, dried powdered shrimp (prawn floss) and chicharron which you then can top with a spicy sauce. They come in little tiny dishes that you can kind of slurp the rice cake from like an oyster. The combination of textures and temperatures and flavors was delicious - and not too filling as a starter. We wanted to have a Banh Khoai Nuoc Leo (crispy pancake taco-like dish with a dipping sauce) but they were out for the day (we were there at about 4pm) so instead we had vermicelli bowls (Bun Nem Nuong) with Asian style sausage and fried spring rolls. Topped with peanuts and fish sauce, it was fresh and delicious. The host greets you warmly and offers ice water, hot or iced tea (complimentary) and the restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful. There's also a gorgeous display of food for sale near the register, including fried bananas and donut/beignet sort of treats. (Couldn't resist splitting one of those and it was lovely- not heavy or greasy and lightly sweetened.

I also loved the spicy fermented tofu dipping sauce. All of the dishes can be dipped in any and all of the dipping sauces accompanied by the other dishes. The waitress also brought a small bowl of rice with lemongrass pork for my baby to eat (on the house). The waitress was awesome :) Before tip the total came out to be $52. The price is super worth it. The taste was absolutely amazing. 5/5

I once had a durian smoothie here that was nice (they said they use fresh durian). Unfortunately service sucks. You use context clues to get in a line at the end of the store, order with an employee after they're done and look at you, have your order number flashed at you (which you're obligated to memorize as you do not get a receipt or physical number), and then you hover around the front of the store until you're called via your number. My biggest gripe is that they hire non-Viet speaking workers to take your order and expect you to understand them when they butcher the name of the foods. I ordered some cha ca (fish patty since I saw it in the glass container by the front on the counter and pointed it at) and the lady kept saying chacachinchacasong quickly 2-3x. I asked her what do you mean? She repeated it. I said I don't understand what you're saying. She looks to her non-viet speaking coworker, shakes her head, and says "chino" with an attitude. Eventually I come to realize after some pondering that she said "cha cá sóng (raw fish patty)" "cha cá chín (cooked fish patty)". I'd recommend management to remind the ladies to say things slowly if the customer does not understand or say "raw" or "cooked" if they cannot adequately pronounce Vietnamese to their large Vietnamese customer population. I'd also recommend not to insult the target customer in front of them.

Ended up trying their onion and mushroom fried tofu and their lemongrass & pepper tofu as well the pandan tofu pudding with red beans and jackfruit. My first thoughts were that the mushroom and onion tofu is the superior flavor of all of them, it's so good and umami! I inhaled all of them on my way to work because the smell was so tempting. The lemongrass definitely needed more flavor, it was barely there, not even that spicy, it was really milder than I expected it. I gotta say that my tofu pudding ended up being my dinner because I was so full of 1lb of fried tofu I had for lunch, it doesn't look as pretty or appetizing, but it was really filling and actually helped my craving for something sweet but not so "sugary". When I got it, was quite warm, so I put it in the fridge and emptied the content on a mug and warm it in the microwave? I don't know how you are supposed to eat this but I did liked warm hahah I'd gladly come back and have this again and the just the fried onion mushroom tofu! (As well the sticky rice and the giant fish cake!) The place is a carry out, so there is no way you can sit and eat there!
