Our water heater went off and I read instructions for relighting and nothing I tried worked. Of course it was the weekend so I began seeing the dollar signs rolling. Vitaly answered my call very promptly and we used Facetime to see if I could get the pilot lit. No luck. So Vitaly said he would be out early on Monday morning. Sure enough, he came promptly and determined within 5 minutes that some wires had come loose. He fixed the wires, lit the pilot and took the time to educate me a bit. I was shocked when he refused to take payment either for his time on the phone on the weekend or for this early morning house call. Fixed incorrectly installed piping under kitchen sink that was letting sewer gas out whenever the sink backed up while just running the water for a few minutes to rinse dishes. Completely re-plumbed the entire setup and connected it directly to the main drain, as it should have been before we bought the house 6 years ago. Also hooked up a sink in the bar area that had never been plumbed before. Estimate was fair and communication about the repair visit was easy. They had to re-schedule once due to an extenuating circumstance, but they were prompt to notify me and came out for the repair a few days later. They even tied in my reverse osmosis water system directly into the drain setup. It's all been working great. No more sink back ups and no more sewer smell. Estimate was fair. When I came home to a flooded front yard and basement I thought I was in for a major repair bill! After turning off house water I started calling plumbers and Diligent Plumbing was the only company that could come out and see me, all the others said this was a sprinkler issue. Vitaliy came out the next day and was able to determine where the leak was (it was actually in the sprinkler system) and within 5 minutes he had the leak isolated and water back on to the house free of charge. I had a water leak in the wall of the bathroom upstairs, causing a great deal of damage, with water dripping through the ceiling downstairs. Diligent Plumbing was able to determine where the leak was and I did not have to use the Leak Detection company my insurance wanted to send out. Diligent Plumbing does outstanding work! I have hired them twice now and he repaired my shower and rebuilt my leaky faucets. He arrives in a timely manner and put on shoe covers before going upstairs as I have very light carpet. I was so thrilled to get the shower fixed. I highly recommend Diligent Plumbing! He also has an amazing personality and very trustworthy. When the job was completed he called me upstairs to show me how to turn on the shower with the new install and also turned faucets on in 2nd bathroom to show me they no longer leak. He came out several times in February and finished all the plumbing in our half bath after it had been renovated due to water damage from the previous owners poor DIY work and installed a main shut off valve so my ancient knees didn't have to manage the crawlspace.
