Came here with some friends to watch the Panthers hockey game ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little local Irish bar here in the keys.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got in just in the nick of time . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place packed up pretty good and packed up with Panthers fans[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . Ordered some drinks and apps to start. Typical bar food but still tasty . Drinks were poured perfectly and they all hit the spot . Food was ordered and it came out hot and ready . Our server Danni and Bianca were awesome . Hope I spelled their names right . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was full of life and energy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I even ran into an old coworker who ended up buying a round before I could . We settled up the tab and that's where the problem happened . With all the I'll buy you buy with my buddy I accidentally left my credit card there without realizing it till the next day . Fortunately for me I went back first thing the next morning and spoke to shift manager . She took my into down and said she would ask the girls if anyone found it . Several hours later I received the call with the great news . They had my card and no additional charges had been applied . I knew the staff here would look after me and k can say they didn't disappoint. Thanks to the staff of Dillions for a great night and having my back . Live laugh and Erin go Bragh

Fried grouper with fries

I was in the mood for prime rib, but I was an hour too early for that. I ended up ordering the French Dip minus the provolone, and I'm so glad I did. It was truly scrumptious. My daughter ordered fried grouper and fries, and cleaned her plate. It was a new fish for her to try. Light, mild, and flaky, it was wonderful fried. The servers were exceptional. I had questions about places to visit, and they collaborated to help me. This was by far the best French dip I've ever eaten. It was nice not to have seafood tonight for me.

Next restaurant in the Keys tour, was recommended by a family friend...Dillon's. Who would've thought an Irish pub would've been so amazing in the keys. This is where the locals go, no fancy view, just good food and good vibes. *French Onion Soup, the best I've had! And it's a must to get!!! *Crunchy Grouper Sandwich was really good. *Now listen to me, and listen carefully...The bread pudding IS A MUST!!! Warm and delicious! Dillons is not a tourist trap type of place, good vibes and also great drinks! 9.7 out of 10

Great food great service. I held a lunch and learn and we were helped by Piper. She's was wonderful. Tara the manager is also great. Definitely recommend and getting a bite. Can't miss. I'm loo

Great place to meet friends for a Friday night meal. It was busy! Drinks came quickly. Hubs had the crispy grouper sandwich. I had the crispy grouper basket. The coleslaw was tasty but the fish was DELICIOUS! So soft & perfectly cooked! Servings were large. The French fries were lacking. Friend had a salad & tuna. She enjoyed it. The wait staff was great. You can't go wrong at Dillon's!

We popped in after a long day on the boat, I ordered the crispy grouper, and everyone else had sandwiches, they liked there food but that grouper was amazing!!!! I would get it over and over. The food took a while to get, and the bartenders were taking shots behind the bar which was weird but our server was nice and the food was great, I would definitely recommend!

Watch your tab with the English bartender; he doesn't know how to add, and it wasn't in our favor...twice.

We were able to get a table right away for our group of 6, which was awesome. We sat inside and because Masters golf was on TV, the live music that was scheduled to play that night was delayed. I have heard that when the music is going at Paddy Murphy's, it becomes impossible to have a conversation so it was not a bad thing that we were able to have dinner and talk to each other. Though we will have to return one night for the live music. Our server was awesome, very helpful. There were a few things on the cocktail menu that were not available but he guided us to other options. We started with the Mac & Cheese Bites which were delicious. Though I really wish they had some potato skins and mozzarella sticks on the menu, too. When I think about fall football at the local pub, those are the snacks I most enjoy. For dinner I had the fish & chips which was awesome. It looked like a heavy batter, but it was so light. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the batter crunched so nicely. The French fries were wide steak fries, which were good and crispy. I usually like my fries a little overdone and skinny, but these fit the meal very well. Prices are incredibly affordable, especially for Marco Island. We will be back!

We weren't wearing bright day glow clothes with fanny packs, and Walt Disney sunglasses, but definitely felt like we were outsiders. Everybody was super nice to us, but it's just that feeling you have by looking around and seeing how other people are interacting. It was really just a perfect place on the water with cold beer. We were there for their AWESOME happy hour offerings, the HH menu on their website is not accurate. Here is an overview of what we had to eat from best first; -Lump Crabmeat covered tostones-AWESOME!! -Blackened Fish Nachos -Dirty French Fries -Pork Chicharrones & Fried Yuca -Hot Chicken Wings (I was sooo disappointed with them as they were meaty, cooked perfectly but NO flavor ) I highly recommend going here and will definitely be back!!

The only place in the island that overcooked the mahi. Dry all the way through. It was not a good experience. On the opposite end the home cut fries we're not cooked all the way and served lukewarm . So they were mealy and unpleasant. I sampled 4-5 from different areas just to make sure and it was just bad. The yellow rice was tasteless but extremely sticky. It would stick to anything it touched like the bottom of the fork or my hand or just anything. It made me wonder if they put in an additive for it to Clump or just didn't wash the rice. That would explain the presentation, a giant half dome serving from a scoop. My wife really enjoyed the coleslaw and she absolutely loved the Key Lime colada drink . Otherwise it was just the worst dining that we've had in 5 days in Islamorada

Lots of outdoor seating and plenty inside too. Pro tip- wear long pants and bring a light long sleeve top. I get eaten up by mosquitos every time. It's a fun, chill atmosphere. Food: only reason I took a star off is the price has gotten very expensive. 2 entrees, 1 app, 1 mocktail was about $150. The fish dip was sooo good!!!, but again, pricy at $20. I got the fried coconut shrimp basket which comes with a few hush puppies that are pretty large in size and french fries. The taste for all of it was very good. My husband got hog fish w/ rice and veg medley and it was good, he loved the rice, but again pricy at mid $40's. All in all, this is always a great place to come!

Our waitress was having a rough day- I get that but it really came off on her service, she didn't seem friendly, no smiling, and the worst part is when I saw MULTIPLE roaches running around the floor, she said "oh they're just bugs around here that's all it's probably different where you're from" Meanwhile the host female and male at the front were too busy flirting to check guests in, the guy saw the roach and all they did was laugh. Also observed another customer wiping off the AC unit above them, and complaining something kept falling into their food. They have really gone downhill, and for the prices they charge .... It's a shame because I really like snappers. I had the Mahi, with veggies and fries and it seemingly tasted fine but more so worried now my family and I will get sick due to the roaches and a quick internet search that found this is an ongoing issue.

Even though it is a freestanding restaurant, I am told that it can be difficult to find a spot. The venue offers live music on weekend evenings, but we finished eating before it began and were too tired to stay. The restaurant oozes the Irish pub decor and theme. Our waiter, Jordan, was exceptionally friendly and jovial. And he was a master at suggesting alcoholic beverages, once you let him know your likes. We had 2 orders of Irish potato soup, 2 Shepherd's pies with cheddar cheese, 2 orders of the Guinness beef and mushroom pie, 1 cabbage rolls, and one fish and chips. The soup was filled with bacon bits and creamy and luscious. The Guinness pot pies were a bit small, especially because they were so savory. The accompanying mashed potatoes did not come with gravy and there wasn't enough from the pot pies to cover it. The veggies that came with all the entrees were freshly made and without any seasoning. (But it is better to add salt and pepper than to try and remove it.) The fish was a decent size serving, but again, no real seasoning. Nothing that some salt, pepper, and malt vinegar couldn't rectify. The coating was light and crispy. Our alcoholic beverages (Guinness, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails) were thirst quenching and satisfying. (I loved my prickly pear margarita.) Dinner for 6, including 2 soups, 6 entrees, 8 drinks, tax, and tip was $300.
