We stopped here at about 8 PM on a weekday, on our way home from IAH airport. We were surprised at how tasty, plentiful and fresh all the food was, even though it was past prime time for dinner. Everything is buffet style, with no extra or hidden charges (except possibly alcoholic drinks, we weren't interested in that so I don't know whether they offered alcohol). There was enough variety to accommodate 3 adults with varying dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free) as well as two children. EVERYTHING I EXPECT FROM THIS CHAIN! I love the Dimassi chain and this particular location is stellar. The foods on the buffet are fresh and beautifully presented. My particular happiness comes from the bread which is baked right there on sight and kept warm in a basket covered in towels. I LOVE the cold table with hummus and baba ganoush. I asked for kofta kabab, they did not want to make it since it was 1hr before they closed (still enough time to make it). The food looked as if they had recycled it from the day before. Ice cream machine did not dispense the ice-cream correctly (very liquid) needs service. The price increase of $16.98 is definitely not worth it for a dinner buffet, when they quality and service does not meet your basic buffet expectations.. read more

My best friend took me here for the first time today. It was wonderful. The flavors wake up your taste buds. Loved the salads, and the rose water!! I can't wait to go back. All the food was awesome. The employees were smiling and polite. The place was clean. Went back with my husband, and three children on the 5th. They loved it too!! I'm having cravings so bad for this food. I frequent Dimassi's on a regular from downtown to The Woodlands but this location has to be my favorite. The food is prepared well and presentation is the best I've seen. The one thing that made it even more special was Fernando. He is an amazing server! Fernando was very attentive to my needs and all the other customers. I have recently started eating vegetarian and I was really worried about being able to find anything in town to eat (especially after reading Chili's "vegetarian" menu - which was literally just everything on the regular menu just minus the meat). We tried this place after talking about it for a couple weeks and I'm so glad we did. For a vegetarian, this buffet has SO many options, and they are all so delicious. Everything was fresh and clean and there was so much variety. Even my boyfriend, who eats meat, absolutely loved it. We tried it first about a week ago and enjoyed it so much, we have been back twice since. One thing I will say, for meat eaters, they don't advertise it very well (aside from a small sign behind the register) but the buffet inclues a lamb shank for each person, which my boyfriend really enjoyed. It was incredibly tender. Aside from the amazing food, I really enjoy the open seating and self-serve atmosphere. There's no waiting for a server for refills or napkins or silverware, no hovering waiters, etc. The bussers are very attentive and they keep the restaurant very clean. I was very skeptical! Mediterranean and buffet just doesn't seem to go together. I was truly surprised! It's open seating so you just walk in and either grab a plate or find a seat. You start with a large array of fresh salads. So many fresh flavors and the cold bean salad is AMAZING. A feast for the eyes and the pallet. The hot side of the buffet has several different rice dishes. There are several roasted veggies dishes, the eggplant just melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor. All of the chicken recipes are so well cooked, no dry chicken here! There is pasta, meatballs, gyro (just ask for a plate), fish...and baklava!!!!! Weekends and evenings you can even request a lamb shank. I am certainly no expert on Mediterranean food but on this buffet there were several things that were so wonderful, just melt in your mouth goodness...I am a fan! It is a little on the pricey side for a buffet..but this is NOT your average "buffet" food. And be sure to ask for a frequent diner card...your 12th visit is free! read more

The pita was so soft and the hummus was made right when we got there. Everything I had was great. Falafel was delicious. Grilled veggies were not soggy on the buffet, they had a great flavor. This is a new business opened up in Humble. We enjoy trying new restaurants and had a special occasion to celebrate. The place is clean, the atmosphere is authentic with music of the region, very nice. The hostess was very polite and the dinner delicious. Excellent. I usually stick my usual food and have not really tried Mediterranean food before except Greek salad and hummus. So I decided I would try a little of this and a little of that. I'm so glad to have a Dimassi's closer to home. I love having healthy choices on a buffet so I can pick and choose what I want. I usually get the Baba Ganoush, a fresh pita (very fresh), fried cauliflower, falafel and a lamb shank. The lamb is excellent. You wouldn't know they had it if you didn't watch closely. They only offer it on weekends and you have to ring a bell for it, but don't pass on it. I usually take a little of the garlic sauce too for added flavor on the lamb. Service is almost non-existent. On my first visit I did not see any staff until I went to pay at the end. On my next visits, I have seen a couple of "bus-boys" who got a little too close to my food. I hate when people bring a bus tray to my table when I'm eating. Yuck. The price, after tax, including a drink, has been $14.77 a person. Not too bad for the quality of food. Oh, and you might be inclined to pass by the fried chicken because of the light color of the skin on the outside, but it seems to be made from a different kind of flower that is actually really tasty, so give it a try. read more

Not a good experience. The food was all cold or luke warm at best. The soup tasted like an overload of chicken base. Vegetables tasted like they had been washed in a soapy container and not rinsed. The cook is fresh and really delicious, they put enough tahini where there has to be enough tahini, is not bland like the location I used to go to in the woodlands. I'm so happy they opened this one!
