Great brunch spot! Staff was very attentive. Food was really good and they validate the expensive parking if you park in the Financial District Parking Garage. My only disappointed was the bowl was smaller than I anticipated. It's a tiny spot so don't bring a crowd.

My experience here was about the same as the last time. It was packed and very loud, and the food was decent, but not much more special than typical diner food. Our service was great and very fast though!

While visiting Detroit my godmom took my mom and me to Dime Store and I think it should be called Sublime Store:) The food was delicious, everyone on staff was lovely. Special shout out to the hostess Gigi. She went above and beyond to help us figure out parking and she was such a pleasant first person to see at the door! Thank you Gigi! Will be back. Best veggie omelet ever!

Went to Dime Store for breakfast and was very happy my first meal in Detroit was soo so good. We had the Duck Bop Hash and the Corn beef Hash. They were so good. If you know me for real you know that I hardly ever eat all my food. I ate the whole thing with the exception of the English muffin. It was absolutely delicious. My server Nicki was really nice and friendly she told me the Duck was the most popular so I went with that. The caramel chai latte was also very good not too sweet. 10/10 recommend.

Came here to eat on Saturday while we were in the area and we enjoyed it so much we came back another day for takeout. The first experience would have warranted 5 stars but our second experience here wasn't as good. First time we came we sat at a table and had a wonderful server by the name of Paul. He was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Mexican Street Corn Hash and my bf ordered the cold-smoked salmon benny with the hollandaise sauce on the side. We both enjoyed our meals. On Monday morning we were hungry and decided to get take out from here. I ordered the spicy Cuban rice bowl. This dish sounded great but it was actually bland. The rice was also clumped up a lot. Regardless of the dish, the hostess this time around was extremely rude. Gave us nasty attitude for no reason.

The Dime Store was really good! I am thinking about how I can recreate my meal at home! They also had really good cocktails. I got an espresso martini with tequila and it was amazing! Our server was really nice and so were the host. It is a cute, small, restaurant connected to another building. We parked in the parking garage across the street. If I were ever back in the area, I would go back!

We came around 8:30am on a weekday and got seated right away. My veggie benny was the perfect start to the day. I appreciate that it has veggies, protein and carbs all in one. Everything was very yummy. The potatoes were sliced thinly so they had the max surface area for the Cajun seasoning. Service was friendly and helpful. When we walked by couple hours later, there was line out the door. Would definitely come back and sample other items on their menu.

Came for breakfast on a holiday and we're seated right away. They got packed later in the day so coming early was clutch. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered off the specials menu since it was our first time. I enjoyed the Red, White and Blue waffle (minus the sprinkles). It was super fluffy and a nice combination of flavors. Highly recommended.

Went on a breakfast date with my husband here, on a weekday morning. It was rather empty, but the food took a while to come out. The service was great no complaints, our server anticipating any of our needs and was great. I had the French toast with a side of scrambled eggs with bacon. The eggs were fantastic, the French toast was blah I don't really care to add syrup to my French toast but it was needed this time. My husband did a build your own omelette and loved it.

I stopped by Dime Store around noon and was lucky enough to get a seat at the counter without any wait. The place was packed and buzzing with energy, which gave it a really vibrant atmosphere. My server was warm and welcoming. I ordered the Reuben omelette with bread and fries, along with a coffee. Everything was delicious, and the portion size was just right--I left feeling completely satisfied. I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and overall vibe, and I'd happily visit again!

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time! I ordered the corned beef hash, while my wife went with the cheesesteak eggs Benedict. Both dishes were excellent - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Everything we ate was delicious, and the portions were generous Friendly service, efficient staff, and outstanding food = a great start to the day in Detroit.

The dime store located in downtown Detroit in the Chrysler building. Features scratch made breakfast options, cocktails, with a lively atmosphere. They have all of your favorite breakfast classics plus some new and unique options as well. I got an order of the Chesapeake Benny and the strawberry and cream waffle. This is a great breakfast/brunch spot to enjoy in Detroit.

Service was ok, front desk isn't the friendliest but wait staff is. Food takes a really long time and will come out cold just a heads up.

Can this business accommodate a party of 10 for brunch on the weekend?

No, I’m sorry, we are a very small restaurant with limited seating options for large parties and can only accommodate parties of up to 8 people.

    Do they have bottomless mimosas?

Hi Natalie! No, I'm sorry, we don't offer bottomless mimosas. (They're actually illegal in Michigan.) However, we do have one of the largest mimosas you'll find around town at 12 oz., as well as a mimosa pitcher option.

    Do they take reservations?

No it's first come first serve

What is the average wait time for a party of 5?

Best time to go is within 20-30 mins of opening as you will not have to wait. Wait time steadily increases from that point and peaks at about 1.5 hours. I always go shortly after opening and have never had to wait.

    Any good veggie options?

Hi Alekhya! You can find our menu on our website - http://www.eatdimestore.com/menu/ - along with several veggie options. Many dishes can also be made vegetarian with some small modifications. Our servers/chefs are happy to offer recommendations…

Does it offer gluten free options?

Hi Saeed - We don’t have a gluten-free menu, however, we do have a few GF items and many of our dishes can be made GF with some modifications. For example, our house fries and most of our salads are gluten-free, and many of our breakfast items and…

It ended up being the biggest waste of time and money for a meal that I could remember. First, the positives. The people were very friendly. Every employee we spoke to was pleasant and helpful. And the atmosphere was nice and the place was beautiful in its own way. But pleasant employees and attractive ambiance will only go so far if the food isn't good. The only part of the meal I thought was good was the macaroni and cheese, which was comparable to Popeye's. It wasn't great, but was the best part of the meal. My wife didn't want to finish hers because she didn't like it. As for the mashed potatoes, I could tell they had been made with fresh potatoes because I did find a lump or two, but this place has the distinction of being the only place I've ever been that was able to get real potatoes to taste like instant potatoes. You could not taste ANY butter or cream in them. The beef LOOKED amazing but stopped at looks. Nothing I ate was memorable in a good way. Nothing I ate made me want to return. And NOTHING we ate was worth the $60 we paid for just the two of us.
