What a great experience! We love the Detroit location so I was excited to see this great new addition to Rochester Hills. Rochester has really become an amazing spot for food and drinks and there is so much to do there! Brunch is my absolute favorite. Brunch on a patio during the summer with some great company? Even better! I was off today and decided to take advantage of it. I wasn't the least bit sorry! This is a convenient location. They are actually attached to a grocery store! I was happy to secure a spot at the bar as I was solo today. The bartender had the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the restaurant! He was absolutely amazing. He helped me choose my drinks and recommended ones based on my entire life story. Haha. I ordered the eggs Benedict as that's one of my favorites and was sooooo pleased! The ham!!! That ham was delicious! It made the dish so great! I really was coming for drinks but ended up devouring my breakfast too. I stayed for at least three hours just chilling and enjoying myself. They are going to do an outdoor patio for next summer and I can't wait! In the meantime, I'll be back again and again. I may have just found a favorite hangout! read more

Started with orange juice which really was 3/4 of a glass of Sunny Delight unbelievable! My veggie omelette had velveta cheese bc I asked for American Cheese instead of goat cheese the pancakes were cold the hash browns had this a taco bell spice sprinkled all over with someones finger print imprint from the reddish color spice. We tried to go to the Dime Store downtown but were unable to find parking. We were delighted to find the one in Rochester Hills. It is our new go to place for breakfast despite it being 30 minutes away. LOVE their you pick omelet with mushrooms and Canadian bacon. My husband loves their biscuits and gravy (with an egg on top). AND they are very good about gluten and dairy allergies. We Highly recommend them! read more

Our first visit to this new breakfast spot was promising at first. We were seated quickly, and the decor was stylish. The service was attentive, and I appreciated their use of locally sourced ingredients. However, the food didn't meet our expectations. Despite the appealing presentation, the taste was underwhelming. As an eggs Benedict enthusiast, I was disappointed with the dish at Dime Store--I only finished one of the two and picked off the smoked salmon and capers from the other. My daughter, who usually loves corned beef hash, found hers lacking in flavor and quality. While this experience didn't work out for us, trying new places is part of the adventure. I was so excited to try Dime Store since i heard a lot of positives about the Detroit location. We went for late breakfast. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We sat right away in a long seating area in front of the kitchen .. It was so hard to choose, the menu is great. The ham and brie omelette was unique and a nice change. My bf had corned beef hash and it was delicious when i stole a bite. The Food was delicious and we will definitely be back. read more

I've eaten inside once & gotten carry out once now. It is SO loud inside, like overwhelmingly loud. The food is decent. I'm not sure I'd go back, I had a hard time hearing, and I'm not sure the food is worth the price. read more

We've eaten here twice and have the same complaint with both meals. Everything is lukewarm. I've had egg dishes both times. The flavors are nice and creative, but the there is nothing less enjoyable than a lukewarm omelette. I saw the chef put my dish under the warmer and it only sat for a minute so I have assume it is sitting next to the griddle for a long period before he moves it up for the wait staff. The restaurant had only 4 tables when we were there so it wasn't like he was slammed. The side potatoes taste like they are pre spiced out of a frozen packet, so definitely not worth the calories. After two tries, we won't be eating here anymore. read more

Don't do it...great and sat no problem. The forgot about us took 3 people ahead of us for orders. Then they apologized but service was slow they were busy but no wait. My daughter's chicken was undercooked so we had to send it back for something else. The server was kind but portions were small and overpriced! Also they don't have heat! They had a space heater! First of all I love the Detroit location of this restaurant. The food and ambiance there are first rate. I've been looking forward to trying the Rochester location of the restaurant. Went on a Saturday around noon as we were in the area. Upon entering the decor is expansive and bright with lots of sunlight, this unlike the cozy decor of the Detroit location. That's OK if the food is like downtown, unfortunately it wasn't. Our servers were great but the food took FOREVER to come out, and when it did it was lukewarm. I had the steak sandwich with fries which arrived even after the long wait as my wife's breakfast BLT came out first. The sandwich was nothing special with steak and cheese on a bun. Meh. The French fries were undercooked and weren't crisp at all. The fresh squeezed orange juice we had tasted like pasteurized grocery store OJ. I wonder if the restaurant was understaffed in the kitchen and waitstaff as the restaurant was half empty when we arrived. There really was no reason for such a long wait for lukewarm food. Usually eating at a breakfast place on a Saturday involves a wait for a table as most places are packed. Perhaps the word is out that this place isn't that great. read more

So I have been super excited for this location to open based on the downtown location. It did not disappoint. We had the nicest server that told us some standouts to try. We started with the Korean fries then the Mexican street corn hash and chicken avo salad. We loved everything. Everything is homemade down to the strawberry jelly. It's on the pricey side but worth every penny read more

Been here for brunch twice in the last few months. Had the mushroom truffle omelette and biscuits and gravy and both were AMAZING. Wasn't a fan of their coffee, Zimmermans, which was very strong and just not that good. The restrooms could use some cleaning and attention but they don't run them since they are a part of Papa Joe's. Service and staff are incredibly nice and very attentive. This is one of my favorite brunch places around. It will replace us going to the Rochester Brunch House which I'm not a fan of. We were very excited to try this spot. The only positive is that the waitress was pleasant. They sat us upstairs where we overlooked the grocery store, so had to listen to carts clanging. We could hear both the restaurant music and the grocery store music, which was rather jarring. All of our food was cold. The cheese in the omelettes was not melted and the vegetables weren't cooked. The chicken sausage was very greasy. The omelettes actually seemed like the egg part was made ahead of time and the fillings were added and they were thrown in a microwave. One of the worst omelettes I've ever had. We made ourselves eat some of the food bc we were hungry, and then felt unwell for the rest of the day. People always talk about how great the Detroit location is, so I was shocked that I get a better breakfast at a Coney Island. read more

The service was awesome. Was not a fan of the seating as it's all tables and chairs that are on the smaller side so it would be hard to accommodate a group comfortably. I've been waiting patiently to try this new location. It was worth the wait. Our server, Savannah, provided great recommendations. We had the special, croque madame Benny. and Mexican street corn hash. Both were wonderful. The hash was very fresh and flavorful. My husband and I are huge fans and patrons of the Downtown Detroit location. We decided to try Rochester as it is closer to our home. Definitely will continue driving Downtown. Conveniently located within Papa Joe's, providing easy access to top notch ingredients, allows this location to have a bigger menu. My ham and Brie omelette topped with a fig jam drizzle was the best omelette I've ever had. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and my wife's food was equally delicious. Our server,Lisa did a fantastic job. We actually had a gift card from the Detroit location, but the system didn't want to take it.
