Steak And Cheese On Baguette and pasta salad
Nancy T.

I got the steak and cheese sandwich with a side of pasta salad. I loved the pasta salad, I thought it was well balanced with the dill flavor and not too tangy. I wish I got the orecchiette pasta that I've seen in other reviews, the shells in this were just a tad too hard for my preference. The steak and cheese sandwich was good. The steak was cooked nicely and the bread was crispy and had amazing flavor (I would buy loafs of that bread if it was for sale)! My only critique is that I could not taste the chimichurri or the mushroom duxelle. So, I wish there was something to pair with this specific sandwich to cut the richness and repetitive texture and taste. Maybe a pickle on the side or pickled onions?

Amazing food and some of the best deli products I've had in denver. The drinks were on point too, loved the relaxed but quirky atmosphere too. The service was solid, and rated 4 stars instead of 5 as our server was a bit hard to track down at times. Also were out of several items, including one drink that wasn't until almost 10 min later than we were informed they were out of. Regardless, this is a new staple for me, especially someone with gluten sensitivities they have so many options! Stand outs were the house made chips and the large variety of beverages they have. Can't wait to go back and try the GF dime roll (pictured is the full gluten one my girlfriend got)

What the F***!!! How is this cheesesteak this good I'm a born and raised east coaster so anytime I see someone try to fix something that isn't broken like a cheesesteak it sort of gets to me. I was on the fence considering this one was far from a traditional cheesesteak you'd see at a local spot in Philly with Oaxacan Melted cheese and a chimichurri but that's not to say I didn't take the jump. This was 1000% worth it. The bread was perfect, the cheese paired perfectly, the steak wasn't chewy like how it comes out most of the time and the sauce played the perfect compliment. I'll be dreaming about this sandwich for the next 3 weeks. Thanks Dimestore for that...

They're very gluten free friendly here (there is risk of cross-contamination with the fried foods if you have Celiac disease), and the gluten free bread for my Italian Dimeroll was so good! My boyfriend absolutely loved his Steak and Cheese Sandwich and said it was better than any Philly Cheesesteak he's ever had. It wasn't busy when we went, but it was a very relaxed/casual vibe inside and the service was great.

Service was great. Server was knowledgeable about the food. Food was spot on! The meatloaf sandwich was amazing (no bbq sauce for me). Impressively tasty sandwich. Ambiance is cool. Fun with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice location! Will definitely go back! Focaccia bread is to die for!

Great spot in Lohi for food drinks and some other provisions. Came with a foodie friend of mine (he always knows the best spots!) for a happy hour drink and bite. I had the lifesaver cocktail with gin and it was fresh, fizzy and easy to drink. You can choose your spirit with this drink and this is an elevated take on a gin and tonic (in my opinion). For food we split the Lamb Kebab Dimebowl, which comes with two lamb skewers, potatoes, cucumber, pickled onions, olives, tomato, raita and harissa sauces and homemade bread. We opted to add two additional kebabs so it was more filling. All of the flavors worked well together and I would have licked the bowl if not for being an adult and sharing with another person. The sandwiches other patrons ordered looked amazing and I have to come back for those to eat in (or take out). Great decor and there is seating inside and out. On the day we came it was very toasty and nicer to partake at the bar inside. Parking is limited in LoHi. There is a paid lot close to the restaurant.

Wowwww this place is such a vibe. The decor is unique. The food is delicious. I got the spicy tuna dimeroll with pasta salad. The tuna was fresh and the combination flavors were amazing. My friend got the lamb kabobs and she said it was so good! The service was good. It felt a little rush but the server was friendly.

Croquettes

Popped in because my wine club spot was busy and I wasn't waiting. Plus I was hungry lol. Cute little place. It's a but small so it can get packed quick. I ordered a glass of wine (vino vert) with the hummus and croquettes appetizer. Yeah I downed the food because it was sooooooooo good! It was bomb! I have never had a version of humus like this and it was so flavorful and paired well with the sourdough brushed in oil. The croquettes were equally tasty and didn't last long. I would pop back in here again even just for the appetizers but I an sure other foods are great too.

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and ordered to go. Ended up chatting with the bartender Ellie and had to try their "Mule it Over" while my chicken parm was being made for takeaway. Great place, great people, and the drink was top notch. Big flavor with the perfect amount of spice from the ginger beer. Great Music playing over everything as well. The sandwich was great and survived the trip home easily, it might have even been better because it was allowed to sit for a minute.

Smoked Chicken Salad Dimeroll with side of pickles- amazing, so good!

Amazing food and service! Ordered online, and Ellie was lovely to talk to when I picked up the order- told her it was my first time there, often stay nearby when visiting Denver, and she said I'd done great with choices and offered suggestions for next time. I had the smoked chicken salad dimeroll with a side of house pickles- sandwich was huge and delicious, and the pickles are a great combination of pickled veggies. Hubby had the Italian dimeroll and ate it all because it was so good he couldn't stop. Strongly recommend!

My sandwich was not my favorite Italian sandwich. It lacked flavor and got soggy pretty quickly. Some of the other menu items looked better but unfortunately this wasn't my favorite. The restaurant was nice and service was great.

Chicken Parm on Baguette

I have wanted to come here for forever and it still exceeded my expectations. Great patio and rooftop! Fast service and great food, what more can you want! The chicken parm was a generous serving and was oh so good. Chicken was crispy and baguette was fresh. The Mac salad is also not to be missed. I love the hint of dill!

We stopped into dimestore on a whim, when our original reservation elsewhere fell through. What a win for us! The service was wonderful, and everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. My chicken Parmesan sandwich hit the spot. I loved that not only did it have marinara, but pesto as well. my son's burger was served piping hot with lots of cheese! And OMG, the salt and vinegar chips.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. They got me a cold towel and an ice bucket so that I could recover. I was so impressed by how they handled everything! We also ordered appetizers of the burrata and the sweet potato croquette. Burrata is always fantastic! The croquettes were good. They were doing Star Wars themed drinks for May the 4th so Star Wars was playing in a screen (that you could barely see due to the sun). I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious.
