We decided to check out this new spot yesterday after we read an article about it. They've only been open for about two weeks. This is a cool spot as it's casual and best of all, it's great food at a reasonable price point. Sandwiches are $11-$13 with a side. Appetizers are $7-$12. We started out with their cocktails. I also tried their cream soda which was really refreshing and not super sweet. Food wise, we started with the lamb gyro corndog as it sounded interesting and....we wished we had each ordered one. For the entree, my husband got the meatloaf sandwich and I got the rueben which were both absolutely amazing and filling. Meatloaf, isn't your ordinary meatloaf...it's hard to describe but it's a must try. We got baked beans, potato salad and house made chips as sides which were all delicious. For dessert (I can't believe we got dessert, we were stuffed) banana nutter-butter cake (I might have messed up the name)...so good and great flavor without being overly sweet. This is a great place with delicious food that won't break your wallet. We will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and items on the menu. read more

This place was amazing! Don't let the name fool you... if I have any complaint it is the name. Haha! Cute indoor theme tho, which matches the name but the food is as good as it gets--more like "Golden" if you ask me! Let me just tell you one thing folks--if you only eat one more thing in your life you need to try the Bolognese Gnocci. Simply one of the most amazing dishes I've had and I consider myself a pasta connoisseur. Yum! The hot apple cider also hit the spot on a cold night in December. Spiked with some kind of bourbon but not too strong-perfection and I'm not a huge cider fan. We were able to eat on the rooftop even though it wasn't quite ready to be open. A little chilly at first, but after the hot apple cider and the heat lamps warmed up I was perfectly fine. The patrons before us who were eating in the greenhouse decided to take 2 hours to eat (rude!) so the servers pulled some strings and hooked us up on the rooftop. They were SO incredibly nice and accommodating... apologized a million times and then made special arrangements for us. Who does that anymore?!! My son had the chicken and waffle plate--Little Man homemade waffle that is --also yum!!! 2 cheeseburgers made to perfection for my daughter and husband also - both said they were amazing. I had the hamburger - best burger in a long time. My husband had the reuben sandwich and it was huge. He said it was the best reuben he has EVER had. It wasn't shaved pastrami but more like a brisket. They do not have a children's menu. However, our granddaughter shared my hamburger and that was perfect for the two of us - it was a double patty. read more

Passing through from Houston for a show. Read about this place on Eater and went after a visit to Meow Wolf (@ 1.5 miles away). This was legit one of the best meals we've had in awhile, and that's coming from a pretty thriving food scene in H-town. In addition to the dimerolls (had the meatloaf and dug the addition of hoisin, gave it a totally different flavor profile than ketchup, obviously), check out the rest of menu, which appears to be ever changing. We had some killer gazpacho (verde) with blue crab, it had a hit of heat but super fresh *and* refreshing in this sweltering heat. We also had the fava bean hummus with fresh baked bread that was da bomb! Best frigging pasta salad too, with fresh dill for the win! Absolutely loved the interior ambiance and music, friendly server also. Great vibes all around. They've got sundries, too, which is a nice touch bc you never know when you'll need a box of bandaids, etc. If y'all expand outside Denver, please consider opening a location in Houston!!! I go to this place every time I come in town (from Phoenix Arizona) for work! I literally crave their Italian sandwich, if you can even call it that- it's some kind of dreamy, just the perfect amount of crunch but also sponge-type soft yummy-ness bread in your mouth that soaks up all the flavors from the dressing, toppings, and meats- Like. For. Real!!!! The staff is always ready to greet you with a smile and Mas is a super sweet gal that's very engaging and makes sure your experience worthwhile (even if it's "to go")! Easily top 5 most underrated Denver spots. Truly a gem - food and drinks are LEGIT. The concept could fall flat trying to be a NY bodega - this place is simply "elevated deli" - the bread, the sandwiches, the fresh toppings and sauces are SILLY. Staples like the cheeseburger are Americana at its very finest - the attention to detail and simultaneous nostalgia leave you a tad confused about how something so simple could get this good. The rotating menu somehow is deeply consistent with these perfected American Deli elements, but can also be global and complex - Indian spices, Caribbean spice and more show up and it's amazing. The owner and chef care almost too much about just being weird and good that they don't market as much as they should. So much potential - they need a Netflix Chef's table episode. Ok and now, the drinks - I simply love an old fashioned made by someone who appreciates the simplicity but doesn't need to overdo it with (artificial) sweetness...and my wife loves a Whiskey Sour (egg white froth mandatory iykyk). Every single time, they demonstrate they can make cocktails worth $20... but they're 10ish bucks. Mind-blown-every-single-time-we-come-here. My brother hosted his 30th birthday here. The staff was UNBELIEVABLY accommodating. Not to mention they are very aware of COVID and planned very well for having a small group gathering. I have a lot of food allergies, and they were so conscientious about it. Made sure I had separate drinks, food, and dessert. Their craft cocktails created by their bartender, Mas, were both delicious and sustainable. I had their Italian and it was absolutely delicious. I will 100% be back, and often! read more

This place is great, and the team is awesome. We first went before the whole coronavirus outbreak happened when they first opened up. We loved spending the day on the patio and the the staff was more than diligent and welcoming. Since the lock down, we have been cooking at home, but have eventually gotten tired of cooking for ourselves an wanted to reach out and support our local places that are fighting hard on the front lines. We could not have picked a better place for delivery. Dimestore was the perfect place, we got the roast beef roll and it is one of the best I have had in Denver. And also if you are looking for something comforting during these difficult times, I highly recommend the Chix noddle or cream of mushroom soup, both on point. I also hear they are doing family style deals at great prices. I was more than happy when we reached out to them the other day to send a meal to a friend that is having a difficult time, but lived just outside of their delivery area and they had no problem making an exception to getting food over to her. The driver was very safe, and their practice of social distancing could not have been better. The best deli in the highlands! Dimestore recently opened in Lohi after renovating the old Low Country Kitchen. Dimestore's renovations are amazing but their food is even better! You'll notice some vintage toys and a retro atmosphere which house not only a restaurant/bar but also a deli counter with prepared foods for grab and go convenience, home goods such as detergent, and much much more! We had their Italian chicken noodle soup, Cuban sandwich and Italian sandwich today and we will be back ASAP - maybe even tonight! If you haven't been there yet, GO! read more

My husband and I absolutely love Dimestore! Even before Covid, we were huge fans and were going at least once a week. Their dimerolls are all delicious, but the Italian, meatloaf and Cuban are the best! Favorite side is their potato salad. They have continually freshened and diversified their menu with interesting plates from all over the world. The business has been able to keep stocked with all your go to home needs during the pandemic and then some. Their cocktails also really set them apart from almost anywhere else and they are now selling them pre mixed in a bottle! Absolutely go check this place out if you haven't already. This is a great low key spot - they have a great heated tented (well ventilated) patio, good food, and friendly staff! Highly recommend for a low key lunch or drinks. Do note that they're unable to sell warm drinks, which you can bring from the cafe next door. read more
