Yay, Ding Tea! I love Ding Tea because it's a no-frills boba shop and they have Wintermelon Milk Tea. I had only been to the one in San Diego before coming to this one, and I like that it's pretty much the same but the staff here are super duper friendly and nice! What's also cool is that they have free wifi! So I posted here for a while to study and that was nice. They also have a little monitor where you can play video games with a friend. Ding Tea is the new standard quality for a good boba shop. Drinks are pretty consistent, so I consistently get my drinks 50% sweet. I tried the winter melon milk tea, coffee milk tea, kumquat lemon iced tea and jasmine milk tea. They were all pretty good. Crystal boba costs a bit more than their other toppings but it's delicious so definitely try it! A little suggestion I hope they take seriously is to check the receipt number before handing out drinks. The nice girl was about to give my drinks to another customer, and corrected me that they weren't mine, but I showed her my receipt. Also, my drink was not completely sealed so it spilled everywhere by the time I got home. This location looks nice and has a decent parking lot. As a 20 year consumer of boba from the SGV, Ding Tea has legit boba/tea. Since this company comes from the motherland of boba, you get quality in the flavor of the tea and the freshness, even with the tapioca balls. Great customer service from the staff is provided each and every visit. I've worked in Anaheim for 13 years and only in the last handful of years has boba been available here but on a sub-par level that I've settled for. The only recommendation is to open earlier, at 11am on all weekdays so some of us can swing by during our short lunch break and not have to rush by the time it opens at 11:30. I am really into boba, well because boba is life. I will give any boba place a try. This place is a solid 3.5 stars for drinks only. Love the locations next to a HS and Zankou chicken. Customer service is excellent. They are very personable. The decoration is top notch, and the space is very chic. I ordered their Hokkaido tea, which was very watery and in enjoyable. Their winter melon milk tea is a solid 4 is pretty good but needs more milk. It tasted watery too, but not as bad as the Hokkaido. The house milk tea is bland and needs more tea, sugar, and milk, I would give it a 2.5/5. The top fruit was excellent, and was quite exceptional, a 5/5. I wish they didn't put their signature flower wall with any tables because people would just camp there, and you can't get a good photo even if you want to. read more

Have been to different Ding tea from different locations, II think this is the worst ding tea place out of all. Ordered my usual oolong milk tea with golden boba (less sugar and less ice). When I drank my tea, it didn't have much flavor. It tasted more like diluted milky water with a tint of bitterness. The golden boba is alright. I also ordered other nine cups of drinks all with less ice. I saw when the person was making the tea drink, she didn't have enough tea so she just added more ice to the cup that already have more ice and also just add some tea to fill the cup. And other drink maker kinda did something different. I felt like their quality control is not so great. Other ding tea place that I have been to usually would have stronger tea flavor. I've never had an issue with any of their drinks, a lot of the bad reviews are from people calling in and then saying that the store wasn't busy when they arrived to order, but you know they could be busy from doing delivery orders... Definitely one of my go-to places for a tea drink. My favorite thing about this place is the level of customization you can give your drinks. You can pick how much ice you want and even how much sugar you want. Not many tea places I've been to allow you to customize the level of ice or sugar - if they do then it wasn't presented to me in the fashion that Ding Tea presents it. The interior is pretty nice. They got a good amount of seating and fancy wall decorations for your social media posts. They also have a TV mounted on the wall with an arcade controller for two attached so you can play...well, arcade games. I'm not crazy about add-ons so I haven't played around too much with them, but my go-to is their boba. Their boba is "Golden boba" though. I think they have a different taste than regular boba, but I honestly can't tell too much. I wasn't too crazy about the coffee jelly, but maybe it's because I got a coffee milk tea and it was a bit too much coffee for me, haha. The only issue I came across, ever, was that it was a bit too hot inside one time and they had a fan circulating. Not the highest of tech, and it wasn't really working, but I was only there for a drink to-go. I can see how it might've been annoying had I dined in. Aside from that, everything has been A+. Friendly staff, a wide arrangement of delicious drinks, and a solid location too! I tend to think tea places are in crowded venues...but this one has plenty of parking and is easily noticeable when you're driving by. My favorites: Thai tea and winter melon. I ordered a small brown sugar milk tea with golden boba, which the cashier mumbled that it is like honey boba, which I enjoy. I placed my order then stepped to the side when another customer came in and I was asked to wait outside even though there was no signage regarding that and there is a 4 customer limit. That's fine, I went outside and it took a few minutes before they called me in. The drink and boba was disgusting!! It tasted like watered down skim milk with a hint of tea and splash of sugar. Not only that, the boba tasted like the shitty boba I've attempted to make at home where it's a starchy gelatin ball with no flavor. I was about to throw this $5 drink away, but my friend who is not too picky drank it because he hates wasting food. He agreed it didn't taste the best. I've been to other Ding Tea locations before and though I'm a fan of their drinks, the service was generally lackluster at other locations. The service here was much better and I hope it stays that way. In particular, our cashier was Christina and she genuinely made the experience better by telling us about her favorite drinks and helping us pick. Drinks: All of them were tasty, well balanced. This was my first time trying crystal boba and it's definitely worth a try for anyone on the fence. I ordered my drinks with 1/2 sugar and they were quite sweet for my palate. Pricing: very fair pricing! A regular drink is around 3.50, going large is like .75 and most addons are .55. Options: There are many options of tea and flavors to choose from. I was having trouble deciding which is why I bought so many. Location: I love that they have a free arcade system.
