Newly opened boba place up the street from us. I ordered a regular lychee yakult drink. It came filled to the top with ice. Literally took 4 sips and it was gone. For $6 I feel they could have toned down the ice and gave just a few more ounces of beverage. I got home in less than 2 minutes, so I measured the ice to beverage it was pretty stingy. 12 oz paper cup 8 oz of ice and 4 oz of beverage. That's doesn't quench anyone's thirst on a hot day. The drink was nice. Maybe next time I know better and ask for EZ ice or none at all. I can bring it home and add my own ice and get three drinks in one! I'll try and again, and send a follow up. Staff seemed nice enough, didn't go over and above, but they weren't rude or entitled, either. Clean establishment, visibly appealing. A lot of drinks you can select from. I also suggest having a section on your menu specifically for no or low sugar options. read more

This location is in between Carmel Mountain and Rancho Bernardo. Parking lot has ample parking spaces. Esthetically I think this is the cutest location. They have 2 walls for photo ops. This location seems to be the only one that collaborates with schools and clubs for fundraisers. I appreciate businesses that partner with and gives back to the community. They seem to have a bigger drink menu as well. I like that they offer a secret menu based on their employees' creations. I also noticed that they offer promotions like happy hour from 7-9pm and give discounts to military, teachers, etc whereas the other locations do not. We ordered the Hokkaido coffee with boba, strawberry milk tea with boba, reg boba milk tea, and a mango pineapple slush with boba. All the drinks were delicious with a good amount of golden boba and definitely consistent with the other locations. I would typically give 4 stars but since they give back to the community and offer various discounts, I'm giving them 5 stars. read more

I haven't had a chance to try this place since they opened but I love milk tea so I thought it was perfect since I was in the area. I ordered their classic milk tea. It was really good! The drinks are good and fairly priced but I feel like there is a lack of quality control in that every time I'm there and I order the same thing, it tastes different. It's clear that the kids that work there are just there to do their job and nothing more which is fine with me but today there was a kid making the drinks who was just incredibly rude when I asked if I could make an alteration to a drink on the menu (ie. add the cream on top of the drink but also but some of the syrup on the side of the cup. The cream was listed as a topping but the syrup was not - they do this with the syrup on other drinks though) and he just told me no, that he would not make these alterations on the drink that I was in the process of ordering. I get it, but he was pretty rude about it and the other staff seemed annoyed with this worker also. Today's experience was just sub-par which is why it's 3 . Place is just average. read more
