I really don't understand our love of Dion's here in New Mexico. The best thing about it is their ranch dressing. The pizza is terrible - usually undercooked and flavorless. Subs are okay, but not worth the price. Salads are good - sort of, only because of the meat and cheese added, as the veggies are cheap (cucumbers, onions, and iceberg lettuce). It is what it is. It will always be a staple, but if you ask me it's a waste of time and money. read more

So so so so so good! Living in Colorado, Dion's is a must stop when I go home. My favorite thing on the menu? Greek Salad!!! Great pizza, great prices. I love their Greek Salad and I add chicken to it for a great low cal lunch. The drinks are inexpensive and all have free refills. It is almost always clean. This one is closest to my house but I eat at many of them depending on what part of town I'm in. The only suggestion I have is to add wifi. It's very inexpensive and I think would increase your customer count during slow hours as many of us who don't have traditional offices would pick your location over the others we use. Called in an order and got a confirmation email saying it would be ready at 5. I go to pick it up and they tell me they can't even find the order. Come 5:15, they find it but the order isn't even done yet and I'm told they thought it didn't need to be done until 8. Can't ever go wrong with Dions. It is always amazing! My favorite is a slice of tomato and jalapeño pizza with a side of ranch, and the spinach crunch salad with no mushrooms and honey mustard. The garlic bread is also very good. They are always very prompt, friendly and delicious. If you aren't from NM, you gotta try it. Dip your pizza in the world's best ranch dressing. What can i say, but Dion's pizza is freakin awesome. If you don't like it, then you must not like pizza. It just a great combination of crust, cheese and seasonings that come together for something great. Not too greasy, not too thin, and good amount of toppings. Never been disappointed with it. And the green chile is such a great must add to your pizza! Also the sandwiches are great as well. The turkey, roast beef and the new italian are all delicious. Cant go wrong with any of them. Lol so look, normally I'm not one to leave a poor review and typically the service and food are great! but this was just an experience I didn't think would happen. I ordered online for convenience, went to pick up my order (Turkey and Swiss sub and a drink). She handed me the sub and I explained there was also a drink and she looked me in the eyes and said "then show me the receipt." So I did... she brought my drink to me with a broken lid and the drink spilled on me but I just chose to drive away because I didn't want to make her job harder on her. I understand fast food work is tedious and there are tons of a**holes out there so I just was happy with what I had. I get home and begin eating and I notice I'm missing some stuff like my extra pickle whatever. The review isn't for the food. The food is great, but the service at all of the locations is usually terrible. I ordered today and the girl who took my order over the phone was rude, rushed me off the phone and when I picked up my order she wasn't friendly at all. It's obvious they don't care about the customers because they take your order and then do whatever they can to get you out of their face/off the phone as quickly as they can. read more

Dion's is always great! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here or at any of the Dion's locations. Their pizza's are good, their salads are good, their subs are good & even their sweet tea/lemonade is good! You can pretty much order anything on their menu and be pleased. This location is a little further from home than the Unser location, but makes fewer mistakes so it's now our go to location. Dion's food is consistently good, but the items left out are just as consistent. We've ordered ahead 6 times since May and called in probably another couple of times, at least half the orders weren't complete in some way. read more

I order lunch here every so often because it's near where I work. Service is alright, I've had one person seem annoyed when I asked for napkins at the drive thru (called in an order to go) however the food has always been great! Their turkey salad is to die for. Huge fan of the Greek dressing. I'm super partial to ranch dressings (really dislike hidden valley), so it takes a lot for me to love a ranch. I LOVE their ranch. Dions has great prices!! Can feed all these growing boys for a decent amt. Sunday I got a large pepperoni pizza, a family size salad (enough to feed an army), bottle of ranch, bottle of Greek, and a large cheese bread for about $35.00. We still had leftovers. I can't speak highly enough about the bang for your buck. Most people from here already know this, but if you're visiting and looking for some great, inexpensive food, give it a whirl. The Rio Rancho version of the regional franchise Dion's is a dependable if not terribly exciting option for local dining. They always strike me as just a step above your average fast food, but fill pretty much the same niche. The pizzas are average. The subs are decent. Noplace staffed almost entirely with high school kids is going to be a consistently exceptional experience, but they do seem to have a better than average staff in general. It's a great place to grab a relaxed lunch, but it's not my first choice for eating out. read more

We love Dions pizza! We love supporting local businesses, and Dion's is always a family favorite. The pizza is good, the salads are better, the subs are great, but the ranch dressing is the best! Service is always awesome, I don't care if they are HS students, Dion's is raising an awesome culture of teenagers who give great customer service. Just because they are teenagers doesn't mean they can't give good service. We love the fact that they have such an awesome menu, with a ton of choices, we love that they sell pizza by the slice, that way we don't have to buy a whole pizza for the kids if we feel like having subs. By far my favorite location!! I called in a order for a Greek salad and when I got home I took my salad out from the bag and there wasn't any dressing. So I didn't want to call and make a fuss cause that's my biggest pet peeve, my mom used to be the one at the Walmart yelling at the cashier cause they couldn't price check her coffee creamer. So I just got back in my car and drove back to get my dressing, because no ones likes a dry...salad. When I got there I just went through the drive through and I was fully prepared to pay for the dressing because I know they charge. So it's my turn to go to the window and I let the lady working know I need dressing, she said I didn't have to pay and asked if I wanted two of them, I was shook. Building your own is great once you know what they have. The green chilies on any pie is the way to go. I also love the family salads they offer.
