I really wanted to love this restaurant but unfortunately it fell short in so many ways. The positives: - Possibly the most GORGEOUS restaurant I've ever been to. Every detail of the ambiance was just perfect and beautiful. Very classy and elegant. Also, super trendy and cute. It was very beautiful! - The staff was very friendly and welcoming - They have beautiful presentations for drinks and food. The negatives: - I hate to say but they had horrible service. Everything took SO long to come out. And SO long to order, and just SO long for everything. We were there for a total of 3 hours! Dinner should never take 3 hours but they took forever for everything! - They messed up our order many times. Didn't bring out things we ordered, food and drinks. Also messed up our food orders in general - Most of us ordered steaks and requested them to be cooked medium in which they allllll came cooked well done. I could NOT eat my $75 filet mignon well done. It was extremely disappointing. - The drinks were just OKAY. Very mediocre. - Everything was very over priced for the way it tasted and just in general. I think if they made simple tweaks to staff, service, food and drinks I would possibly give this place another shot! But our original visit was less than par, unfortunately. read more

A little late, but still. Went here a little while back, their first Monday open in over a year. Had a great adventure here! Was a little nervous when we arrived to see the interior decor and a few of the menu items. Thought we bit off more than we could chew. Then, Lisa came over. She was a champ! We were able to go through the menu with her, and she really helped ease our minds, especially with a family of 4, and 2 adventurous little ones. The atmosphere felt classy, yet relaxed. The quality of the food was incredible. Lisa (who I kept calling Tina because I'm horrible with names), kept our glasses full, our bellies satisfied with her recommendations, and our faces smiling and laughing all evening. Honestly, we discussed leaving because we felt uncomfortable before she arrived at our table. After talking with her, staying felt like a great choice, and we were very happy we did. It's been over a month and we're still raving about our meal and Lisa's service! Looking forward to coming back to try some more from the menu. This place is definitely the vibe. Love the music as well as the atmosphere with beautiful decor. Definitely felt like Tulum. Ordered the trio of salsas with tostadas, and the habanero definitely lit a fire. Also, I got the pollo al pastor, which was delicious. Chicken was tender and really like skewer style. Cauliflower tasted really well with rich flavors, and the spicy chile pineapple sauce added a nice kick to it. Service was great as well. Highly recommend checking this place out. read more

A beautiful restaurant! The drinks are beautiful! Coco Chanel is amazing. The server presentation was perfect. The food very delicious. Would definitely go back. One word of caution. Be aware of the "cart girls" drinks. Prices were not displayed, we assumed she was part of the restaurant charges. She kept coming around so we decided to try. We ordered 3 margaritas (mini) the cost was $93 total and we paid her separately from the restaurant! Earlier we ordered a flight of 4 mini margaritas which cost $34 (not from the cart girl) In speaking to the Manager he explained that she has top shelf drinks, but he did understand maybe her prices should be communicated. (Then nobody would buy them). Stick with the restaurants drinks, they are worth it! Our last set of drinks we ordered more margaritas and the Manager did not charge us. I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment this weekend and it was a pleasant experience. The server was very attentive and provided my party with everything we asked for! The restaurant is very trendy, has a really nice vibe and perfect photo ops for content creators. We went during brunch, so I was unable to see the beautiful lights and chandeliers, but I can imagine how pretty everything looks at night. The parking lot has ample parking, so there's no worries about your vehicle while you're eating. The food was decent-could've used some more seasonings, but it was tasty. The spicy watermelon aguas frescas was tasty as well! The menu was kinda pricey, but the atmosphere screams classy, elegant, and date night approved! Opted for the &10 valet which was almost mandatory unless you don't mind a walk across a strip mall parking lot in heels (ugh). Initial impression was mixed with excitement and ahh as ambiance was upscale & chic. We made reservations and were seated right away. We unfortunately didn't get the fun talkative host, we had to read his name on the receipt to fill out the customer survey card. Drinks were ok not too strong not too flavorful. We had a party of 5, who enjoyed guacamole & queso appetizers followed by chicken mole, chicken fajitas, enchiladas verdes & camarones al mojo de ajo. Everything tasted fine dishes are maybe a little pricey for what they are but ehh we understand we're paying for the ambiance etc. What we didn't expect was gratuity automatically added and the service fee (smh) who does that? We'll probably hit Lagos in Fullerton or El Pescador in Downey next time we want a vibey Mexican dinner. read more

We went on Saturday mid day, the restaurant was very clean and beautiful decor. Seats very comfortable. The service was great, very professional and kind staff. We took our kids and they were happy and comfortable. The food was really good we tried burritos, carnitas and enchiladas and they were good portions and very tasty. It is on the pricier side and we wouldn't go often but definitely for special occasion. Oh and the drinks were in nice glasses and great presentation. Overall great experience. read more

I'm honestly debating on leaving a 3 just because they don't have a 3.5 but instead I decided to give it a 4 because of our server. I give this place 2 reasons why it did not get a 5 star.... As soon as I parked I was approached by the parking valet attendant stating I could not park in the 20 min spot in front of the Japanese grill. He assumed right away that I wasn't going to eat there but told me to move my car because it's a 20 min zone. Mind you the business closes in 10 min so without arguing I move my car then I come out and see he chooses to Valet a car there. They already have spots reserved closer to the streets but they want to take up every possible space and make people pay for parking or walk far. I know I'm already going to spend a lot in the restaurant but they still get you with parking. We ordered 2 appetizers 2 alcoholic drinks 2 main entrees and a dessert. That's plenty for just 2 people. And we didn't get the cheapest items on the menu. 2nd reason why this place didn't receive a 5 is because we ordered the $40 churro cart only to receive HARD THICK CHURROS. I was very disappointed at the end of the night.... I still ate the bananas and ice cream but still if the main things is churros it should be warm and soft so it compliments the ice cream and the style of the "banana foster". Other than that this place has good service, our server was very attentive & had a great attitude. The ambiance on a Saturday night was clubbing in a restaurant scene. Music was loud, everyone is dressed up. Great place to celebrate and lots of cocktail options and appetizers. Just check out the menu if it's in your budget. Here I was getting ready to dine at Diosa for my wife's birthday, she was excited about the comments, pictures and menu. She even asked me and my son to dress up because this place is strict about dress code. We got there and the place looks lonely just a few people by the bar and another group seating right behind our table. My surprise was that people in jeans other with shorts so I was thinking, what the heck? I should've just come in comfortable clothes. The anticipation grew when the waiter and other person brought some fancy drinks with smoke from dry ice and a box to make exiting. I not really in to optics I am about the quality and taste of the drinks but they were disappointing, too flat and not good enough to order another one. The waiter offered water for the table so without thinking we say yes, interesting fact no restaurant has ever asked us if we wanted distilled water or tap water. Another thing these people don't offer any complementary chips and salsa like other restaurants, everything is charged to your bill at the end. Food was mediocre and expensive, we requested a cheesecake in advance and it was nasty and very low quality with tons of food coloring, no appealing not decorated but somehow ridiculously expensive. $168.00 for a cheesecake, you have Porto's down the street with superior quality and way cheaper in price. Food not as authentic as they make it seem, you don't believe compared the food here to ChaCha's in Brea and you let me know. This Diosa restaurant is overrated, pricy and honestly I don't think a place like this will survive for too long. Better options out there, don't get fooled read more

For starters, the ambiance is classy, elegant when you first walk in and you're greeted by a gentleman at the door. Our party got seated shortly and as soon as we got settled, David was ready to give us menus, answer any questions, and made all sorts of suggestions for the evening. It was our first time here, all 7 of us girls. He made us feel welcomed and asked us what we were celebrating. Now, for the food review, I ordered the shrimp taquitos. It wasn't your average rolled up taquitos. It had a bit of a twist to it but it was still delicious. I also shared the veggie empanadas with my sister. The flakiness and soft crunch was just the right texture for when you bite into it. I ordered a zero proof mango Moscow mule which was refreshing, but a bit sour with the first sip. I enjoyed it though. I will add that there was much of a kick in some of the sauces and the bed of slaw that the taquitos were on were on the spicier side. But it was so good, I kept on eating it. For dessert, we all shared a sundae and a slice of guava cheesecake. Both were good, the sundae was definitely enough to share and we all took a spoonful of the cheesecake which we were satisfied with. During our whole dining experience, David was efficient in bringing us what we needed and came by several times to make sure that we were ok. Came tonight with family and friends for our annual Xmas gift exchange.. The vibe was very upbeat and sexy.. Beautiful decor and staff were very well dressed. Our waiter for the night was David, he was very attentive to each and every one of us and always asking if we needed anything else.. David was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave very detailed description of anything we asked of off the menu. His suggestions did not disappoint. We had a little bit of everything between the 7 of us. I shared the Ribeye steak and was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the lobster ceviche was tasty but too spicy for my liking, also had a lobster quesadilla which was very delicious. Overall the food was very good! The restaurant is beautiful, clean and our waiter was very friendly! The drinks are really good. I didn't give five stars only because we ordered the Camarones A La Diablo and the Mango-Habanero Aguachile about a few minutes after arriving. About 45 mins went by and still no food, we stopped our waiter and ordered the shrimp and chicken enchilada and about 15 mins went by and then everything we ordered came out. We also ordered the chips and salsa, really good! I definitely will go back again, hopefully next time it doesn't take that much time for our food to come out. read more

First time here, and the food was amazing! The Steak Nachos and Chicken Quesadilla were super filling and definitely shareable. We also ordered the Street Corn and we needed to bring it home because we ate so much. Honestly, their happy hour or Goddess Hour amazing and our server. Lacy was so friendly. Her service was quick and easy as they had just opened, however once she went home, it was hard to get a to-go box where I literally had to ask three employees and ultimately a manager brought one over. That was annoying as I didn't feel valued as a customer. It was also annoying to see a 3% surcharge on the check which states that it is "to help cover rising costs". I would like to see an increased food price rather than 3% of the entire check. They had great music and it was a cozy vibe until 7pm where they got the dinner rush. Honest review of Diosa This place is beautiful!! Thoughtfully crafted and gorgeous. Amazing place to go on a date night although I had lunch here. Lunch menu is mid. Service is "kind, but needs to write things down" Waiter did NOT write anything down during our order. ***Two protein bowls, one shrimp and one steak. And a Caesar salad with steak. **** Had to come back and ask what salad was ordered and repeated Caesar with steak. Protein bowls come out first. 10 mins later, the salad comes out... guess what. It's not a Caesar salad. It has radish, sunflower seed and a weird dressing. Caesar is literally the easiest simple salad and it took much longer and was WRONG. How do you mess us a Caesar salad? Steak was well done and super tough. We didn't get refills unless we asked. The guac comes with a huge bowl of guac but 4 chips, haha. Like am I supposed to spoon guac into my mouth? Very weird service but maybe the good crew comes out at dinner time. I couldn't bring myself to give 3 stars. It was just weird!!!! But absolutely beautiful place read more

Highly recommend this place, went here to celebrate my birthday with about 8 of my friends. The restaurant is very pretty and elegant. The food was actually really good. I tried the mole plate, the rice and the mole were very flavorful. We ordered a few appetizers and they were amazing. The presentation of their food and drinks is on point. Yes, it's a little pricey but for a special occasion, it's definitely worth it. The servers were nice and friendly. The only thing I didn't like is the parking situation, you're almost forced to park valet because they close up almost all the lot to make it valet or you have to park far away. read more
