A family of like 8 people came and another couple and both tables got their food as I still waited patiently for my carne asada fries... guess what? That never happened. So I went inside to check on my food they said its coming out now. King story short about 3 other people came and said something before they refunded us and said they'd still give me my meal and drink. I've heard a lot of hype about the Pasadena and LA locations, but sometimes I don't wanna drive to Pasadena or LA. This opened up within walking distance of my house and it is glorious. It's great having a place nearby where I can get a quick veggie dog (I got the green version with the chimichurri sauce) and some garlic fries (so, so garlicky). Plus, the staff was very friendly and the place was very, very clean (and was all decked out with the necessary COVID equipment). Definitely worth checking out. So glad they were able to open up another location!!! I thought I could beat the crowd and not have to wait in line by going when it first opened, but of course there were already a few others who had the same thought as I did haha glad the wait wasn't too long and food came out in a good amount of time. Service was great and the staff was super kind. I've tried all the different Dogs except the Veggie and the Pastrami Dog... so today I finally tried the Pastrami Dog! The flavor was amazing and I wish I discovered it sooner!!! (But that would be my fault because I tend to keep ordering the Mutt Dog Haha ) I also tried the Asada Fries for the first time and the flavor was on point!!! Delicious They only had one Fresca today since they are on a limited menu at the moment - very refreshing and sweet. I tried Dirty dog last week. I ordered the pastrami dog. It was very tasty. I love pastrami. And I ordered the garlic fries. They reminded me of the ones I use to order at dodger stadium. I ordered it from Uber eats. It was well worth it. And they handle your order with care. My co-workers said my food looked yummy. And the food was great. I can wait to try it again. I had low expectations for this place. Don't ask me why, it just seemed like a typical hole in the wall that just sells generic hot dogs. Well...I WAS WRONG! We ordered online and it was ready when we got there. My wife and I got 2 Dirt Chili Dogs which were to die for. The first bite was a taste of heaven. The bacon wrapped wiener, with chorizo, melted cheese, cilantro, onions, and bacon bits are a perfect combination and each bite is an explosion of flavor. You may ask: "Where's the pictures?" it looked to good to waste time to take pictures lol I had to take a bite on the way home I just couldn't wait! First time I tried one of there hotdogs was in Las Vegas on December, I loved it and looked for one near my house and been to this location about 5 times since. Love the Flaming Dog, witch now the don't have but I get the Elote Dog and just add the X- Grade (topping for hot cheetos and takis dust), I also get the garlic fries and they are always bomb. Really enjoyed the food! Got two hotdogs on Texas toast. The Texas toast at Canes is the best hands down, but this place had pretty good food. My friend was iffy about the price. I love this place! I've been back about five times now and have been super happy with my food each time. The House Dog and the Snoop Dog are my favorites so far, but I'm also a big fan of the Dirty Esquite (SO good!!). I've only had one order of fries and they were great, but I want to try a few more types before I decide which are my fave. I will admit that when I first checked out the menu, I was a little taken aback by the prices. When I worked in Downtown L.A., I used to buy dirt dogs from street vendors for like $2. But I realize that those vendors didn't have to take into account stuff like a brick-n-mortar building or a large staff. AND these aren't some sketchy wieners cooked in a shopping cart where you worry about going home with food poisoning after lunch. They are big and hearty and fresh. I have ordered from here twice in two days with two different people and completely different things and everything was so good! Both people I ordered with loved their food. The hot dogs were so good and I'm not even a huge fan of hot dogs, I loved their fries (I've had the garlic and carne asada fries), their esquite is super good, the desserts are the perfect amount of sweet. The only issue is if you get the ice cream, there's enough for multiple people lol it's really good though.
