The food is Fire, with good seasoning and amazing sauces. The spicy ketchup was to good. The staff where friendly, I was served by Jacqui. Jacqui was extremely friendly and accommodating. Prices are also reasonable. A gold spot overall. read more

The pictures are deceiving the hot dogs are wayyy smaller in person & are very light in weight. Could easily eat 2. As for taste was ok nothing spectacular. My son found this place on Instagram and asked me could we check it out so we went to dirty dog in Downey!! This spot is so good and the staff are so nice I have been urging to go back and get another hot dog . I'm not too fond of eating at the little carts that sale hot dogs on the street but if you want anything close to that go to dirty dog they are so much better and clean... We tried the dirty chili dog, the green dog with a side of fries, and drinks. Everything came out great! All the items that were recommended, came out really delicious. Mai came back to check up on us and recommended different items for us to try next time as well as throwing away our trash. She told us that they will be having grand opening soon. Dirt Dog is so delicious that I have had it for lunch 2 days in a row! The staff is very friendly, service is great, they are reasonably priced and serve generous portions. I had not heard of Dirt Dog before but I am ecstatic that it has opened just down the street from my workplace in Downey! Not being familiar with anything on the menu on my first trip, I decided to try a House Dog. It was fantastic! Second trip I had a Mutt Dog and it was even better than fantastic! I brought my son along for lunch and we got the Elote Fries and Dirty Chili Fries too. Both were good but I like the Elote Fries more. Had to try the sweet stuff. The Horchata Ice Cream and Deep Fried Oreos were amazing, although, I will ask for extra rice krispies on the ice cream next time because the crunch was great! I haven't even eaten my food but I have the most bitter taste my mouth from the worst customer service I have ever been given by this establishment. the problem is the employees , I order over 60 dollars in food just to come home and have half the food missing . Mind you I live 15 min away from here , I called back to let them know that I was missing 3 fries whoever answered the phone did not apologize to me . Someone else then answered the phone and said they would take my name and number and that they would basically give my store credit to come back for my fries another day , I wanted my fries now and after that horrible service I wouldn't want to be back another day . They said okay , i returned back to the establishment I told Becky that was there for my missing fries she never apologized to me , Which Iam wrong for thinking I was owed an apology I mean ? We came on Sunday and placed our order at 4:48 pm. First the place (floor) was dirty n we even had to clean our own table. The brought out my hot dog 5:30 pm n come to find out my boyfriends hotdog never came we looked at receipt n they didn't even put his order. He personally order his meal to the lady at register lissy n I have no idea how she forgot to ring it up so we actually waited 40 mins for one hotdog. Not sure if they are under staff but all I can hear the lady lissy says is I'm so sorry to everyone. Not sure if we'll be coming back. The 1 star was for the corn on the cob. read more

The food is great. My issue is I choose a time for my food to be ready, so when I arrive at that time, it's hot and ready to go. Twice I had placed an order, I got a notification within 5-10 minutes telling me my order was ready. The first time it happened, I chose my food to be an ready an hour ahead, cause I had to go pick up an item at Stonewood Mall, and during the holidays parking was bad. By the time I pulled into Stonewood got the text saying it was ready. I chose an hour later as my pick up. So I had to park, go in the store get my item, take people home and then get my food. I predicted all that would take an hour to do, so that's why I chose a later time. Same thing today placed an order for 30 mins out, got another text 5 mins later. I bought 4 hot dogs, one to eat on the road and the others were my family. My road hot dog was cold, delicious but cold. Don't order ahead. read more

I decided to have elite fries last minute upon grabbing the bag and was hoping they can exchange even if I payed the difference. Instead I got rolled eyes and a refusal from the ladies . I love an artisan hot dog. I had the veggie dog as a patty melt. It was only okay. The cheese topping was a bit bland and tasted artificial.
