Long wait times; however, our waitress was excellent. Coffee tasted good but was never hot - just mildly warm, even when poured straight from steaming pot. Waffle presentation was great; and, although the flavor of the waffles was good, they were not cooked through probably because the mix was too thick. Muffin was also undercooked in some spots, yet edible in other spots. If I may, consider a way to keep coffee hot and thin the waffle batter so waffles cook through; and, perhaps cook muffins just a bit longer. Thank you. read more

Sweet place, friendly service, ample room. With high yelp ratings, was expecting something along the lines of Karen's Bakery in Folsom. Brought some friends who seldom eat breakfast, since we're all busy, working moms. Was expecting a very special treat. Maybe we were a bit overwhelming with a large party, but we were not vowed. However, if my expectations were not so high, and I just wanted a place to chill, eat a lovely breakfast and support local places, this would be great! I guess the lesson is that I need to lower my expectations, or maybe give it another chance. Sorry for the low rating. The young server really tried his best and was very genuine and helpful. Meh, they need to figure out how to make sandwiches before that's all the sell. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and the bread wasn't even toasted, I'm not sure how the cheese as even melted. I think they need to add butter or mayo to the bread when they are making the grilled cheese, this makes it crunchy and good! Also the chicken salad is super dry, it had good flavor but needs mayo, go ahead and season and make stuff taste good. This place has potential. I response to owner's comment: I'm upset too that even though I had to drive back from work because my sandwich wasn't cooked, and employee at the front counter was super nice, that the food was still not good. I too, wish your employees efforts were good enough, I too wish the food I paid good money for was worth it! Wow! This Cafe is wonderful! I took my grandkids there today for brunch. We had the cinnamon roll, biscuits and gravy, carrot soup and the YUMMIEST rueben sandwich I've ever eaten. This place is a little out of our way but I am so happy I found it! I had my perfect lean breakfast with egg white omelet and avocado toast on challah bread, baked by Osnat the owner, fresh from today. My hubby had a breakfast burrito, sausage prepared by Osnat, all fresh, farm to fork. Didn't have time to take a picture of my hubby's burrito and it was gone quickly. Pleased to introduce yet another friend to Paisley this morning. And they never fail to impress the customer. Plenty of food for your money, casual neighborhood atmosphere, fun menu. On a previous visit, my husband easily made 3 meals out of the corned beef breakfast. House-made baked goods, including a wonderful whole grain bread. I love the side salad - obviously fresh cut veggies in a colorful arrangement. Today I had the grilled cheese sandwich for the first time - that wonderful bread and a thick filling of melted cheddar cheese! So happy to have Paisley so close! read more

I brought a friend to Paisley yesterday wanting something healthier than we had originally planned. I got the turkey sandwich with fruit and my friend chose the Cobb salad and we were both really happy. The sandwich had bacon and caramelized onions which was incredibly good and the fruit was fresh. They can make you any type of coffee you want. They have the most adorable little mugs you can imagine. Let me not forget the homemade jelly! I have read & heard so many good things about this place I was excited to try it, so we made plans with friends to check it out on Sunday October 1, 2023. We arrived around 10:45 am. The establishment was clean, they had 3 tables outside & 4 tables inside occupied but didn't seem to busy. We were given menus & the lady pointed from the register area where we could seat ourselves. Marisa came to take our drink order, 2 regular coffees, 2 waters one with lemon & a large Milk to come with the breakfast order. A few minutes later she delivers 3 waters, a glass of milk half full (that was asked to be served with breakfast) & 1 coffee. So after getting the drinks corrected, our order was taken by a young lady that never introduced herself so since I don't know here name I'll say she had very unique hair color just to identify her. We ordered 2 breakfast burritos, a Paisley Basic breakfast, which was 2 eggs, country style potatoes & bacon & an order of the corn beef special. The servings look nothing like the picture on the menu. The bacon in the Paisley basic breakfast was cold & hard. The only thing that was ate in the corn beef special were the poached eggs and the breakfast burritos were dry, I had to request sour cream to drench my burrito along with their salsa. Then after we were just about finished Marisa came back and advised that she just remembered that she forgot the lemon with the water order & she asked if we wanted it. We kindly declined & then here comes to waitress with a bowl of fruit & says this was supposed to be given with the breakfast burritos that she forgot & continues to tell us, sometimes they give it with the burrito order & sometimes they don't, so it's hard to remember. Ok so we ordered 2 breakfast burritos & she brings one bowl of fruit? Also, we ordered a triple shot expresso... that was never delivered. Not only was the food subpar the service was too & the food is way overpriced. This breakfast cost us just about $72.00 not including the tip. So for us it was a total disappointment & we left saying... now we know!! We won't be back. read more

We have been to Paisley Cafe 3 times now. Twice on the weekend and once midweek. I would definitely give 5 stars for the weekend visits. The oatmeal, omelette and cinnamon rolls were fantastic! The mochas...yum!! The service is friendly, they were busy but accommodating! A really fun experience. During the week however, the service not quite as great but the food was very good. The latte was pretty bad. I did let the server know how it tastes and she didn't really seem to care, her response was...what would you like me to do...without offering any options. If you are looking for a yummy breakfast or lunch, this is definitely the place. Not a greasy spoon and not pretentious; the food at Paisley is not only tasty but freshly made with in-season ingredients. Breads, soups, muffins, etc. are all made fresh in-house. I came here looking for a good cafe/brunch spot near my house in fair oaks, and I'm happy I did! They have a great selection of pastries and breakfast/lunch dishes. Staff is very friendly. Flowers on each table. It is a smaller place so feels cozy (in a good way). Their breakfast burritos are delicious, I appreciate that they use chorizo in them and also they are definitely big enough to be filling. For avocado toast, you can tell the avocados are fresh, and the bread itself is pretty amazing. There is a good selection of coffee drinks, including espresso which I also appreciate.
