So anyone that owns a house with trees periodically has to get their drains either snaked or jetted. These folks showed up and immediately brought out the camera which means you're in for a lot of unnecessary expenses. When I finally insisted I didn't want the jets just the snake, the price was more than 300$ (this was a Monday afternoon, not some Saturday morning emergency). You could opt for the 1000$ jetting that guarantees you a clear system for a whole month. When the plumber finally snaked he didn't use a bit at all. Vincent was an amazing technician. I had a dryer delivered and installed and it required water hose to be installed because it has a steamer function, wild. The delivery guy said the cold water valve would not close and I believed him and never confirmed. Vincent came out and immediately checked and valve was fine, connected the hoses for me. The guys came the time they said, they was nice, the down side was they couldn't unplug my bathroom sink. They was only maybe here for 1 hour. I was charged 150.00 for work that wasn't done. I think that was high for work that wasn't done. My neighbor said that was a rip off and my sink was still clogged. So my neighbor recommended his plumber which he did the same thing this company did. My neighbor friend went on the roof and snakes the hell out of it and he unclog it for 60.00. I called several plumbers yesterday. One of the plumbers was this company, who I reached out to in advance via Yelp Message to request a quote from the owner. Owner replied that all I had to do was call them & someone would come by for an estimate. His message: "Thank you very much for reaching out to us. We can usually send a plumber out to you within the hour. The plumber will give you a free estimate with no obligation. If you want to do the work, we can do it right away. If not, there is no charge for us coming out. You can reach us at (click to see phone number) to schedule the appointment or if you have any other questions. Please call between 7am-5pm" Okay, so I called the next day thinking someone would be able to come out & give us a quote within 1 hour, because that is what the owner messaged me. The receptionist I spoke to was the least professional out of all the plumber companies I called. She asked me where we were located and I said "San Diego, Scripps Ranch area." Not only did I say "Scripps Ranch" multiple times but I also had to spell it out for her. She didn't ask me for my address or my zip code. She had to ask someone whether they serviced this area and then said they didn't service it. Our conversation ended there. Very disappointing because on their Yelp page, if you click "Service Area" it shows the areas they service. We live within the highlighted area and about 15 miles away from their business. My below review was a lie- they told me they would take $50 off if I wrote a 5 star review. The truth is, these people are master price gougers. My business regularly has plumbing issues (100 year old building) so I know how much things cost at this point. For the issue I used them for, it usually costs me $300 or less. I was in a bind when my other plumbers were not available so I called these guys. The customer service and promptness was great, but they literally quoted me $1300! Unbelievable. Now normally I would not bother with a 1 star review, I have better things to do than to hurt peoples businesses. HOWEVER, I am writing this because these peoples' customers need to be warned. Right when they showed me the $1300 quote I laughed and said you've got to be kidding me. From there they realized that I know a thing or 2 about what this should cost so right away they changed the price to $675. Right away! Insane how they try to overcharge so much. I ended up settling for the $675 because I was in a rush to get this fixed but after looking at other reviews I instantly regretted it because clearly it is still way more than what It should have costed with an honorable plumber. If you call a 50% discount off a 500% price markup a "discount", then I guess these guys are true to their name? But it's quite a stretch in my opinion! TLDR- if money is not an issue for you, go with these guys, they did a perfectly fine job from what I can tell! If you care at all about cost and integrity, definitely run the other way. read more

While getting my home ready for the holidays, my garbage disposal began making a "humming" sound. We troubleshooted to make things better but to no avail. Don't be fooled by the name. We just paid $1692 for what amounted to 20 minutes of hydrojetting. This is the first time we've ever had the service done, and so we weren't sure how much it should cost and stupidly approved the work - however it's clear from speaking to others who have had the service done that we paid way too much. In fact the original cost was $1992 before being discounted to $1692, but even with the discount the cost for 20 minutes of hydrojetting is outrageous. We have no complaints about the plumber who came - in fact he also removed some foam that had got lodged in an additional drain - but if you're looking for a company with fair prices I would look elsewhere. read more

They were nice enough. I knew I was getting jerked around when they send two people for "quote". All I was getting done was 2 slow tubs and one sink. Nothing major. The only thing major was the quote, $700!! That's for a job that takes 1-2 hours tops. I'm also on a raised foundation making the job easier because there's no roots for sure. Came in contact with Discount plumbing though an app called Thumbtack for contactors. Discount plumbing was the first to respond to the job for appointment and estimate. Arrived on schedule, reviewed the project and provided an outrageous estimate for a basic replacement of a kitchen sink faucet Initial quote was $565. That went to $415 because of a coupon and a few minutes later when they spoke to a supervisor became $300. Classic price gouging by "Discount plumbing". The next day another contractor completed the job for $150. Up front, no negotiations, took less than an hour to do and completely satisfied with the work and professionalism of the the new contractor. My advice and recommendation is to beware of this company and to be prepared for an outrageous estimate, that eventually comes down and their final estimate is still double their competitors.
