I needed a new rim because mine was bent beyond repair, I was hoping to be able to reuse the same tire. I worked with Alex, who I believe was a manager, he told me that they would give me a call if they needed to replace the tire. I walked over to the bank to handle another errand. Unfortunately when they called me they had already replaced the tire without consulting me. I'm not disappointed with the quality of service or time spent waiting, I'm just slightly annoyed that they didn't follow up on a promise to give me a call. Walked in hoping to only need a new rim, walked out paying for a tire I didn't choose. I did hint that I probably would go with this tire but Alex said he'd call me before he put it on to be sure. Very disappointing.... I have been a long time Discount Tire customer. Brought car in for slow leak. Unfortunately, the repair actually made the leak worse. After bringing in the car back a second time. I got a hard sales pitch indicating my front tires were "unsafe" and I need two new tires not including the one with the slow leak. Third time is not a charm. So Saturday I have a busy day planned and the first thing on my agenda is replacing my front tires. I go in and spoke with a helpful fellow who walked me through the process. Pricing seemed to jump up pretty quickly as two $80 tires and a $40 spare came out to $350. I get it, installation etc. Just seems like a lot on top of the price of the actual product. I hang out in the waiting area and a guy comes in to say they replaced the tire pressure sensors and gives me warranty cards for the tires. I take my car home only to notice one of my hubcaps is missing. Not the end of the world, but now I have to go back on a Saturday and chase someone down to get it taken care of. I drive off thinking the matter is done. A few miles down the road my tire pressure indicators start blinking. I'm driving on the highway and wondering, could the place that was too busy to put my hubcap back on taken a short cut and not properly inflated my tires? So I pull off the highway to check my tire pressure and they're fine. But the tire pressure light on my car has been on since. Tuesday is the first time I can go back to have this addressed and that was why I will not be back. I spoke with a guy named Alex who walked out to my car to test the batteries in the sensors. Two of them had no power according to him. So we walk back inside and he took this defensive tone. I explained that I did not have this problem before I came in there AND your guy told me he replaced the sensors. Alex then told me that they only replace part of the sensors and not the battery, which is a different story from the first version. He goes on to say they had nothing to do with the sensors and it's just a coincidence that batteries on two of my sensors happened to go bad minutes after I left their store. That's like telling telling someone with food poisoning it had nothing to do with where they ate. At no point did this guy offer any solution or plan and continued to be defensive and rude. Then he comes out to my car and asked why I'm leaving and asked what he could do for me, which felt more confrontational than helpful. So wait, I shouldn't leave now that you're doing nothing for me? Reliable, Honest & Cost effective! My husband and I have been going to this Discount tire store for years with all our cars. We have always been treated with kindness and quality service in a very timely manner. But on my last visit July 13 2018, They popped a cap off my Volvo wheel and when I told them they asked no questions but apologized and ordered the new part right away! The very next day July 14 2018 my tires sensor light came on. I took it back in and talked once again to Matthew and he not only found the issue but also had the sensor replaced for free! This last visit took my time yes but, for a company to be so honest about a bad day (Friday the 13th to boot), THAT is what will keep me & my family coming back! I made an appointment online and took my car in to get one bad tire replaced. From the get go, everyone was very courteous and I didn't have to wait long. I felt bad for the guys working hard in the scorching Texas heat, while I enjoyed the cold a/c and bottled water. I was also able to connect to their WiFi and get some work done while waiting. I am blown away from the service here. I was especially impressed with Meng, who was uber polite, attentive to my concerns, updated me while I waited, and offered me various options, while respecting my ultimate decision. Great customer service, honor appointment times, and very honest. Everyone I dealt was extremely friendly both on the phone and in store. Came here after NTB was pressuring me into a very expensive tire. These guys took a look and it turned out my tire was completely fine, the screw in my tire caused no damage, NTB was just trying to take advantage. They could have went with it as said I in fact did need a new tire and take my money but instead they rotated and rebalanced my tires and sent me on my way with a zero dollar bill. I'm a huge fan of Discount Tire and have recently moved from San Marcos. Decided to give this location a try and was extremely impressed. Not sure of his name, but the guy that helped me out was awesome. I needed a tire fill and rotation and because it was 5 and busy, he quoted me an hour. 30 minutes later he had done the rotation and fill himself and we were on the road. He made sure to acknowledge everyone waiting and line and said he was appreciate of our business. Excellent customer service and I walked out paying $0 thanks to my lifetime warranty. I went to leave for work and noticed my rear tire was only 9 psi so I pulled into the nearby Discount Tire by Walmart on 35 and the guy at the air station (an awesome free service by the way) noticed a screw in my tire. He got me in and patched right away (it was 8:30 am so there was no wait) and I couldn't believe it but there was no charge for the patch/plug service! Slow, rude and dishonest. I walked in to get my rear tires replaced and wasn't helped for nearly half an hour, and after one of the employees decided to finally help me, he stopped me mid-sentence to talk to the pretty gal that just walked in. I had to wait for him to finish with her! Wtf? After it was my turn again, the guy leaves to go talk with a coworker. Twenty feet away from me. Another employee comes to help me and is polite until the point where I had questions about pricing, where he became very short with me. Finally, its time for them to get my car. The guy slammed the absolute shit out of my door, revved it MUCH higher than necessary and audibly peeled out in my vehicle. I heard this IN THE DAMN STORE. They put on my tires and I left fairly agitated. The next morning, my car will not go into gear at all. This was two months ago. The car ran perfectly before I took it to these criminals. I live, literally, ACROSS THE STREET from this place, and it didn't last that long? I'm not saying these crooks messed up my car....but come on. Seriously. I came in early Friday morning with a screw in my back tire. I was met right away and my car was already being worked on before I even sat down inside. I believe Kyle Gonzales was the man who helped me. He was very nice and didn't try to upsell me anything. I felt he was honest, which is important because I know nothing about tires. In addition to getting my hole patched up, I was also interested in buying a new spare tire. He helped me get a really good deal on a full size spare, and ended up saving me money. Again, something I really appreciate. Before I knew it I was out the door on my way to work. All of the men working here were super nice and helpful. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with my tires, but if it does, I'll definitely come back to this discount tire. read more

I think the two super awesome angels were Kyle and Chris (not sure, sorry) any who long story short we left with two used tires thanks to them. Hands-down the best service, products and friendliest staff. They have always stood by their warranty without having you fill out paperwork or giving you the run-around. They are honest and tell you when your tires are bad and when they are still good. I love the fact you can schedule an appointment online....and they keep it on time!! My sister was getting her two front tires replaced. One of the employees drove it too far forward and crashed the front of her car, damaging the grill and leaving the license plate hanging on vertically by a single bolt. That is a misdemeanor in Texas and could result in her getting pulled over and getting a $200 fine. The assistant manager told my sister that they would submit a claim and someone would be in touch within 48 hours. I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager to get more information. He was extremely defensive and unhelpful and told me that he made sure the license plate was attached by a bolt, which does not matter because they still let her leave with the license plate incorrectly attached. Because the AM was so unhelpful, I had to go search online and make several phone calls before I was able to get in touch with the claims center. I have left two messages with the adjustor assigned to the claim and she had not returned my calls one week later. However, the day after they damaged my sister's car I spoke with the store manager. He had her come back in and he made sure the license plate was fixed (which should have happened the day they crashed her car). So to sum up: 1) An employee damaged the grill and the license plate of my sister's car. 2) The AM let my sister leave the store with the license plate hanging in a nonlegal way that could have resulted in her getting pulled over and getting a $200 misdemeanor fine. He was rude and unhelpful when I spoke with him. 3) My sister had to go back to the store to get her license plate fixed, but the grill is still damaged. 4) It's a week later and no one has been in touch about getting the car fixed. The claims adjustor assigned to the case, Mary Sittnick, has not returned two voicemails. Update: Two hours after posting this, another company got in touch about the claim. They sent my sister to a shop that did not have a phone number and turned out to not be open (at 2 pm on a Monday). So they sent her to a second place, which says that it will take 5-6 days for repairs. Because my sister has pedals for her car, we have to go to the repair shop to drop off her car, go pick up the rental, then go back to the repair shop to get them to put the pedals on the rental car, wait 5 days, then repeat the whole thing in reverse. The tremendous amount of inconvenience and time it is costing us to get this resolved, because one of their employees was careless, is intensely frustrating. read more

Toni was extremely helpful and professional, provided great information regarding assistance with a new tire and with his expertise and knowledge I was able to decide on a tire for my car. It was not easy to find and he made it possible within a days notice. He had it shipped over night and Edward was able to replace it immediately. I admire everyone's knowledge, honesty, and patience. I would listen to customers questions and with their extreme busy day, they keep calm and a professional and have answers to everyone's questions. I get my two back tires replace dry and rotated to the front and because the front right tire had a broken lug nut (which they broke last time by the way) they decided only rotating the left tires is a smart move! I've certainly been impressed. I've used Discount Tire many times of the years, but Chris' team at this location have gone above and beyond. I recently got 4 new tires at an amazing price. Only after just 6,000 miles I had to get a replacement since 1 of them was side-wall damaged. They didn't have my exact tire in stock but another store in town had one. They got it the following morning. I drove up the following afternoon and didn't even stop. Chris saw me in the parking lot, waved me into an empty bay and they swapped everything right away. I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. This amount of customer service has earned them a loyal customer. read more

The staff were very attentive and had me checked in within a few minutes despite how busy the office was. They took a look at my tire which had a nail in it and ended up fixing it and putting air in all my tires for free. I was in and out in 30 minutes!
