They saved my life today. I'm a pet sitter and very busy right now. Many clients are stuck with flight cancelations and others just on holiday (one cat is diabetic, needs insulin shots, and lives on the other side of Mercer Island, I have to get there). I had a terrible couple of days and didn't need this weather. I have excellent chains, but they have their limitations. Studded snow tires were what I needed and Discount Tire was the only place that had them in stock. They took really good care of me, they got me in and out rather quickly. I am free now to get around in a timely manner. I was also able to get a client home up on Somerset, her flight wasn't canceled, Uber got her to Bellevue, couldn't get her up the hill. These guys were supposed to rotate my tires for free on my 2020 lexus rx f sport. Bought the tires from tire rack (they are partners now) and had tires installed at discount tire in las vegas when i was down there. However, i found out that they didnt rotate my tires because I saw evidence! The evidence is that my left rear tire had a hole where I plugged it up months ago, and i noticed the left rear tire is still there and should have been rotated to the front left! I saw the plug today where I patched it up! I was suspicious when I left the shop last saturday as my left rear tire pressure was reading 29psi before having the rotation; when leaving discount tire it still read 29psi all the way home and the other 3 tires were still the same psi( In the area of 33 and 32 psi). Nothing had been rotated! These guys probably think im an idiot, but guess what im a car guy and know my stuff! They dont honor free tire rotations! read more

Ordered tires 3 weeks before my appointment. Called the day before and they day of to confirm my tires had arrived, I was told my tires had arrived. Brought in my car, they started working on it and 45 minutes later informed me that my tires were not in the store. I also witnessed 3 employees walk into the lobby with no masks on while there were customers in the store including the employee that spoke to me. I tried to return on 1/10 to finally get my tires replaced, the store was closed due to a COVID outbreak. I called my local dealership where I had an upcoming oil change and they managed to order my tires for my appointment within 10 minutes. On 1/11 I was called by the Redmond location and I was told if the Bellevue location could not replace my tires that I could drive them over to the redmond location myself and they would fit me in for a tire replacement. That's a no from me. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, absolute incompetence at Discount Tire, go literally anywhere else. read more

This is a review I did on the Jeep AutoNation Bellevue site just now. _____________________________________________________________________ I must say, this was probably the worst service experience I've ever had. I have a 2024 new Grand Cherokee that is 3 months old. I noticed my tire pressure was down and, sure enough, there was a screw in the center of the tire. I was going to go to Discount Tire but they didn't open for another hour and this dealership was open. When I got there, they informed me that a flat repair is $50. I told them that Discount Tire and Les Schwab fix flats for free and I didn't spend $60k on tires with them. I asked for the manager and he agreed to do it one time. I go to get coffee and I get back and the tire guy says he found out something new that the tire is 'noise cancellation' - there is a foam rubber piece around the inside of the tire. The customer service person comes over and says I need a new tire. I was shocked. I said I need to buy a new tire every time I get a nail or screw in it? She said yes. Discount Tire is now open so I called them and they said this is not a problem and they will do the repair for free. I asked Jeep how much warranty I have on the tire they want me to buy and they say that there is no warranty on a 7k tire. I then see them going into my trunk and I asked them why. They said to get the spare tire on. I told them to put the tire back on and I'm leaving. I went to Discount Tire and they fixed it in 45 minutes. They were even able to offer me a road hazard warranty on my Jeep tires for 10 years or until the tires are bald. Jeep has to have the worst customer service I've ever seen. If the AutoNation management read this, contact me and I'll be happy to manage your service department and turn it around. I spoke with the Service Manager after to tell him what happened and he said this is just how AutoNation policy is. If it is, you need to try a different business because these reviews won't get any better. Good luck (that was meant for the customers who purchased cars there). The employee did the assessment with me and talked through the best and worst case for the car's tire leak repair steps and costs. They were very polite, patient, and transparent when answering my questions regarding the service like final costs and steps of each servicing approach (this depends on the cause of the tire leak). I was sent a text notifying me of service completion about 40 minutes after my car was put in the service queue. Pain free experience. I heard a noise coming from one of my tires and discovered a rock stuck in it. Afraid that I was going to need a patch or get stuck with a flat, I called Discount Tire to see if I could bring it in. They were very friendly and said to come right in. Once I got there, the staff were all kind and ended up being able to pull the rock out, check the tire to see if it needed a patch (it didn't) and send me on my way...all within 10 minutes. I came in needing one tire replaced. Guy said no problem one hour and then tried selling me on replacing all tires. I kindly declined and told him I wouldn't be needing all 4 replaced as I recently changed them. From there he told me that it would now take 2 hours to change my one tire and that's with my wheel already off in their hands. If I could, I'd leave a negative star review for this circus of a tire shop. NEVER GO HERE!! I waited twice as long as initially estimated for my wheels and tires without a phonecall and only got updates when I reached out. Then, I bring my rig in and some amateur didn't understand which way the impact works on lug nuts and drove my lugs INTO the wheel and sheared them off trying to back them out. THEN they tried to leave me on the hook for an estimated $300 bill (which actually would have been way more after reviewing the damage) for someone else to fix it!! Turns out the damage is way more extensive and would require suspension work etc. I had to purchase a new rotor, bearings, and seals AFTER the wheel was CUT OFF of my truck!!! Needless to say these ding dongs need to go back to school on how to perform a simple wheel and tire swap and they'll be served with a bill for the damages or face litigation. Pretty smooth and painless experience. Ordered the tires and scheduled the appointment online. The appointment day I showed up a bit earlier, I checked in at the entrance and waited a few minutes in the parking lot. Was soon after invited to drive the car in a stall and wait in the lobby, from where I could see them working on my car promptly. Within 30 mins or less I was out driving with my new tires. The few human interactions were pleasant, everybody wore a mask, and nobody tried to up-sell anything, which was unexpected, usually when I bring my car to the dealer, there is always some recommended costly stuff to do. Btw I remember stopping by once in the past because my front left wheel kept losing pressure. They checked it and fixed it and did not make me pay for anything. What amazing service!! I had a puncture from running over some crap on the freeway, and my poor little car limped into their store on a Monday afternoon. I spoke to Joe and he was really professional. He measured the depth of the tire grooves and made some recommendations. I ended up with some pretty good tires (Yokohamas) and he pointed out that they were doing a promotion now so there'd be a rebate as well. Score! Then all I had to do was hang out in the waiting room until they were done. There's free coffee/cold water from the fridge, and free wifi, so that wasn't a problem at all. Although there seemed to be a bit of a line and there were about 6-7 other people waiting for their cars, the line moved reasonably quickly, with a mechanic coming in every couple of minutes to let someone know that their car was all done. The only reason DTS doesn't get five stars is because they had an inventory fail, where I had paid for four tires and it turned out they only had three in stock. But not to worry, Joe jumped in his car and went to another DTS to pick up the other tire so I could have all four of them (instead of three new ones and one gimpy old tire, plus having to come back another day). It did take a bit longer than anticipated but it was worth it. Overall I felt like DTS did well to minimize the frustrations that come with discovering your tires are flat, and their prices weren't unreasonable. Plus with free tire rotations every 6,000 miles from any of their locations, I'll be back. read more

I need new tires so I stopped by my local Discount Tire to see about pricing and making an appointment for installation. I waited for 10 minutes to speak to someone about getting tires. It was a Monday and they were busy so I didn't mind waiting. Finally got to talk to someone. I told him what I was looking for and he searched for the tires I needed. He told me about some upcoming sales. We finally got to the point of scheduling the installation and he says that they are scheduled over four weeks out for installation. I stopped any further conversation and walked out. If you are that ridiculously scheduled why try to sell tires for 20 minutes and bother looking for available stock? I went two doors down to Les Schwab and bought tires and scheduled installation in three days. Who waits four weeks when they need new tires???? FIRST TIME CUSTOMER AT DISCOUNT TIRE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! DO NOT GO TO THEM PERIOD! I brought in NEW Tires and Wheels to be mounted!! I got quoted $321.20 to mount them because they were 40inch tires and 24inch wheels. The reason I was quoted so much is because ONE of my rims is worth $700.00, and they had to take liability if they scratched them. I got quoted from les Shwab with no liability a total of $180.00. But I decided to pay more to someone who will take liability for damages. (DISCOUNT TIRE) I gave my wheels to the store MANAGER JOSEPH POTERAS. I wanted to leave my wheels with a trustworthy person. Upon coming the next day to pick my wheels up, I inspect them and find every rim with identical line scratches on all 4 wheels.(EXACT MARKS FROM THEIR TIRE MOUNT MACHINE) I get frustrated and request the manager. The manager starts saying I brought the wheels into their store like that. I recorded the whole conversation for evidence, the MANAGER JOSEPH starts saying he will refund the mounting fee if I take the wheels and leave. I REJECT the offer because a simple $320.20 would not cover $2800 wheels worth. He didn't even want to start a claim on the wheels until I told him I would not leave the store. He wrote up a claim saying that the customer says, wheels were already scratched. I asked him to admit that they scratched the wheels. He stated the claims department always says the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!! I got a phone call 2 weeks later from SAM MITCHELL saying discount tire will not take liability because the manager stated he did not scratch the wheels. They took the Managers side, I told him I will bring the wheels and I want them to see if the scratches will match the mounting machine. He stated SORRY YOU CANT DO ANYTHING ANYMORE, HAVE A GOOD DAY. Great service and location. I've been going here since I was 16, and picked up my first 16 inch Anterra Tri-Star rims, remember those days when that was large and Momo wheels were the shiz? Well now we have so many affordable choices nowadays and even stock wheels are 18s... but the service is still solid. I also like how they have a free tire air check line. Only thing is that entering the business is a bit dangerous as you have to cross a lane of traffic on a busy street. But then again, Bellevue was a small town back then. And they still offer to repair your tire for free if you get a nail in it. read more

I wish more service industries treated customers like Discount Tire. Sure, the environment isn't the fanciest and you do need to plan ahead when coming here to avoid the busy times. But that's what appointments are for. Where they really shine is their customer service and their great pricing. I've purchased may sets of tires from them for everything ranging from tires for SUVs to sports cars and they always find ways to save me money. I've stopped shopping at Tire rack.com since Discount Tire will at least match their pricing, if not beat it. They also provide free flat tire repair which other tire companies do not (I'm looking at you Les Schwab) and have even fought to get me a reimbursement on a tire warranty issue. Tirerack.com cannot offer these services and most local tie companies can't come close either. I also have air suspension on one of my vehicles that needs to be deactivated before lifting, which they knew exactly how to do without any reminder from me. Lastly, the one service they do not offer are alignments which should be performed any time you change tires. But for this I usually go to Omni Brake and Alignment which is very close by. read more
