Discount Tire used to be awesome. But, unfortunately, they've gone downhill over the last 3 years. It started when I went in and got my tires rotated, and afterwards when i was driving away down the highway, a hubcap fell off. Not a big deal, things happen. But then 6 months later the same thing happened AGAIN, right after i left the store. (That time the person driving behind me had to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting my rolling hubcap going down the highway). But even Still, I shook it off. Then, my dad went and had HIS tires rotated, and had told them he needed some extra air in the fronts because they were down to 20 ft lbs/torque from the 32 its supposed to be at. When he got home, he checked the pressure and they were still at 20 ft lbs of torque! They didn't even touch the air pressure, they just got his car in and out as fast as possible. So he had to add it himself. I stayed a loyal customer even after that, though, because when i got new tires after that they gave me a free one because the tires didnt make the guaranteed warantee (they wore out faster than they should have and I'm a stickler about getting them rotated every 40000 miles). But i went in today to get 2 new front tires. I had a 10 a.m. appointment and was told it would take an hour to an hour +15 min. Not a big deal, it was busy and had snowed the night before. Almost THREE hours later, they finally finish. They NEVER PUT ME IN AS AN APPOINTMENT EVEN THOUGH I MADE IT ON THEIR WEBSITE!! To top it off, they put me down under the wrong account/name in the computer so they never called my name when they were done, they called someone else. So when i got my receipt, 30 mins after they finished my car and didn't call my name, it said i had a camry and not a corolla. It had the wrong license plate. I had to drive back and make sure they got the torque specs right on the lug nuts, and then i had to make them put my new 2 wheel purchase under my real name so that when i go to get them rotated they can pull me up on the system and see the purchase so they rotate them under warantee and not charge me. Also, when i went to my car the first time after they were done, I got in my car and not only was my hand break not pulled up, but it wasnt in gear either (its a manual transmission) so by some miracle it didn't roll out of the hilly parking lot they put it in a block away from the shop because all the front parking lot spots were full. Its just the consistent lack of quality service that has led me to decide affirmatively that i will ultimately go with a different company next time i need new tires. Its a shame, discount used to always be awesome. Oh well. Off to Big-O or firestone i go. Anyone but DT. read more

I've been to this location 3 times all for winter / regular tire switch overs. Each time the crew has been timely, respectful and professional. The second trip I waited a bit longer, but it was a busy day so what can I say. Today they were done in about 40 minutes so that more than makes up for the past wait. I even drove by another location on the other side of town and knew from the looks that I would regret stopping there. So I hopped back in the ride and drove the extra 20 minutes knowing that the trip would be well worth it! I was not wrong ;-) read more

So i recently purchased a tire (approx 2-3 weeks ago) from a different discount store and was too far away to go with a flat. I was not happy. This was the closest. Ive been here for 2 hours upset, aggravated, frustrated, not knowing what was going on. Long story short best customer service from Paul. I had a horrible day but he really helped me out today. These guys were a bright light in an otherwise pretty dim morning for me. On the night I was going out for my birthday, (right as I was headed to meet some friends to go to the bar) I got my first ever flat tire. This is also the first week of school, and after paying for tuition and books, I'm pretty low on funds. I was absolutely dreading the thought of paying to get my tire fixed, and was worried about the prospect of having to get a completely new tire. I came here on a Wednesday morning, and it only took them about 30 minutes to fix the tire. In that time frame I went over and used my $1 off coupon at the next-door coffee shop and relaxed. When I came back to get my car, they pleasantly surprised me with not charging me for the repair, and just asked me to think of them when buying tires next time. I WILL!!!! These guys are fast and friendly with good customer service. This is a busy store but they work hard trying to get everyone the repairs they need. Discount stands behind the tires they sell with repairs and free tire checks. Over the years we've discovered to just take it to discount. They do a professional job and will price match. read more

Horrible experience based on 1)total mis-management of time expectations; 2) pushy sales; and 3) lack of experience/knowledge. Had a low tire pressure light come on and went to Discount Tire to troubleshoot. Was informed upfront that tire may have to be replaced depending on puncture placement. Seemed like a reasonable thing to say in order to manage expectations up front, but the guy didn't stop there....told me how much a new tire would cost and then tried to sell me on warranty service, etc, etc.; I felt obliged to reel the dude back in --- thanked him for the info, but made it clear, I was still hoping for simple patch and to be on my way. Told to go get coffee and that it would probably be 1 - 1.5 hours. I came back after two hours and could see that my car had yet to move. They then told me that it would probably be another hour. Another two hours later (now FOUR hours in), one of the techs comes out to tell me they are having trouble finding the wheel lock to remove the tire for inspection. I nearly lost my mind... let them know that this puzzler had occurred once before and that while I couldn't reminder the exact location, that I hadn't touched it since the last time and could also promise that it was definitely still in car. I then coordinated for dealership to talk to the tech.... I could hear tech just saying no to all the questions asked by dealership, then hung up and just looked at me. I then demanded that he give my car back to me and then drove to dealership where--as I expected--they immediately pointed out to me where the wheel lock is stored (with my car being no exception). I lost 4.5 hours of my life waiting for NOTHING at this store. Maybe -- hopefully --it was just a really off day for them (others seemed equally frustrated). My husband has purchased two sets of tires from them, but based on this experience, we are likely to go elsewhere in the future. read more

I never leave reviews for literally anything or any business. I had to leave a review for this place. If you have tire problems, you got to discount tire. Simple as that. These guys are super friendly, offer free (yea, free) flat repair and have always taken care of me for a reasonable price when I need new tires. Really good customer service, great selection, fair pricing. I went there with a blown out tire that I got from Goodyear and they still gave me the discounted service they would have given me if I had bought the tire there (Goodyear would give me NOTHING). Jun was very courteous and professional while helping me. Plus I got a free coffee coupon for the nearby coffee shop while I waited. Overall a very pleasant experience. read more

Great service, friendly and efficient. Had a nail in the middle of a tire and they removed it and parched the hole for free.

Excellent customer service, and fair pricing. If you make an appointment, you're usually out of there within an hour. Additionally, they give you a coupon to enjoy a free Novo coffee (or $1 off a espresso drink) at From the Ground Up to make the time go by quicker. read more

This place is awesome. Very busy but very efficient here all the time and they never try to screw you over. They have a ton of tires in stock and if they don't they just send them over ASAP from another shop. I have bought 3 sets of tires from discount tire and they have the best customer service. Free rotations/balancing/air and they go above and beyond to get whatever you need. Always get the warranty, I have received 3 free tires from these guys in the past 4 years and they charged me nothing. Honest, affordable and reliable work here. read more

Discount tire has good warranty for their tires and does free rotations for you as well. Call ahead to make sure they have your tires in stock though, just in case. They didn't in my case and I had to drive to another of their shops to get them. Apparently they don't have an exchange between stores. Overall they are friendly and don't make you wait for too long. read more

Instead of informing me they needed my assistance, I was sent a text that my car was done. It has been over 3 hours when I was quoted 2 hours max. I understand my breathalyzer causes issues, however there are several ways this could have been handled differently and cost less time. read more

I've bought tires from Discount for many years and have always been satisfied with their service and products. Staff is always courteous and professional, also consistent since I've used locations in Aurora (3) and Denver (2). They back their products and when replacements are required, they have always resolved satisfactorily. I have never consider buying from another shop. read more

This Discount Tire is awesome! They really helped me out on a set of wheels that I was having a problem with the TPMS sensors on and then they plugged a leaky tire on another car of mine for free until I could get new tires on it. They're great!!! read more

Amazing service. I stopped in because my low tire light came on. Cody was filling up the tires and noticed that a screw was in my back tire. They were closing at 1but for a company event but he and the team was more concerned for my safety. They got me in and out and there was no charge! Absolutely recommend! read more

I was already frustrated with pepboys to begin with and when I came here it seemed like it was going to go ok. The guy helped me picked a brand on tires for my car and said he would order them from another store and they would be at this location soon that same day. So about less then 2 hours later he calls me and tells me my tires were in, I get there and well---they were the wrong tires. The guy who recivied the order didn't check properly what was being received and they found out when they put the tires un my car and they were too small. So i had to come back the next day and finally get it done. They apologized and all and yes this things kinda happened but it really made me feel like getting new tires for my car was more frustrating then it needed to be. read more

Fixed my flat in 45 minutes over my lunch break (stupid chain links on I-70) and then didnt even charge me for it. When I asked if they were serious, the guy at the counter smiled very politely and simply told me to think of them when I was buying tires next time. Worst customer service ever. I pulled in to get air in my tires, it was packed, no parking spots, only maneuvering between others. I parked beside someone else getting air, out of the way and one of the bay service guys yelled at me for pulling my car up. I asked him where he wanted me to go and he said over there somewhere. So I maneveured again through cars. Then I overheard him say 'one more dumb lady needing air and can't drive'. Never know who you may be dealing with and in service jobs....... mediocrity at it's finest again! read more

I went in for a free air check, and all you have to do is drive up, you don't have to wait in line or go in. During mine they found a screw in my tire, so I ended up having to go in and wait. They were unexpectedly busy that afternoon, but even during a busy rush, every employee was calm, polite, and very friendly to each customer that came in. I had to wait about an hour (which is what they told me), but patching my tire was free of charge. Next time I will call before I go to see how busy they are, but they also have other locations around Denver. read more

About a couple of months ago, I took my car in because the Tire Pressure Sensor went off. I was under the impression that my car was fixed, but I kept having to go back to get my tires filled with air because I was having the same issue. No one mentioned to me that my car's tires were unevenly being worn down during these multiple visits. Now, I was told that both of my front tires needed to be replaced because my car has an alignment issue and my warranty does not cover that this. So now, less than two years and 20,000 miles more to go before my warranty would have been expired, I was forced to get new tires. The gentlemen by the name of Christopher C Rogers was horrible. He had a bad attitude and was completely dismissive as to why I felt I was conned by Discount Tire. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to acknowledge that Discount Tire and it's employees perpetually messed up by not informing me about the issue that my vehicle was having, let alone that the warranty would not valid. I would have taken the appropriate steps to solve the problem had I've been told I had an issue. Don't plan on ever coming back to Discount Tire. read more

My Saturday started out a bit rough as I got flat tire on I25 driving North Bound. I called and got roadside assistant to put my spare put on and drove straight to the guys at Discount Tire on S. Colorado as that is where I bought my tires. They took care of me so quickly! I had 2 tires covered under warranty and Edgar worked with me and my fiancee over the phone to get the other 2 tires ordered and put on the car. The customer service is phenomenal every time I come in the store and I could not believe it only took 25 minutes to get my new tires put on and out the door. Great customer service here today! My car is an 03 Subaru Forester. I had one leaking tire. I had planned on getting a new set of all season tires in November. Didn't work out that way. I could only afford 2 tires with mount and balance at this time. The current tires were well worn and I knew just getting the leak patched wasn't worth it. Now I know 4WD vehicles need all 4 tires done at the same time, but I couldn't afford that and had planned to come back in a couple weeks to have the front set put on. I had already paid for my service when a tech approached me in the waiting area. He stated that they really felt more comfortable putting 4 new tires on; all for the price of what I had already paid ($245). Just a different brand of tire than what I had picked out originally. I know this brand of tires has a little less tread life and I don't mind at all because it is one hell of deal. I am very impressed with this generous offer and level of concern for properly maintaining my vehicle. This kind of service is what brings the consumer back. These guys are amazing. Not only is the customer service always fantastic they really go above and beyond. I got new tires there a little over 2 years ago and went in today to get a nail removed from them. I walked to Starbucks instead of waiting there and when I got back I found out that instead of a patch on the tire I got four new amazing tires for free! The specs on my model had changed and the tire that i purchased previously wasn't appropriate for the weight of my car. The could have patched it and i would have been on my way but instead I felt like I won the lottery!!! Highly recommend them to anyone for their honestly and service. read more

Even though they are busy all the time and these poor guys are running around non stop, they still get people in and out so fast. I've been lucky enough to get Shawn the last few times I've been in.
