These guys are great. They are thorough and honest and don't try to oversell you. If they see you have mid tier tires coming in they'll recommend to you mid tier tires going out. Their prorated warranty, which comes default, will cover your tires if you bust it and have remaining tread depth and that's used as credit for your replacement. Shawn B helped us with a bad tire. We came in from out of town towing a huge trailer. He helped us get our trailer situated and got us in quickly even though they were very busy. He made sure his co-workers understood out situation and the work was done very professionally. He ended up having the work done at no charge because the tire was under warranty. I bought four tires at Walmart and I bought the Hazardous road service thing to go with it. I got a flat tire and I took it into Walmart to have it fixed. first they claim I never had the roadsides service that would fix a flat for free then they told me that they couldn't fix it it was too close to the sidewall. Then they didn't even have a tire to put on my car so I could go to work the next day. I had to drive around on the stupid donut and piss off all the traffic. A friend told me about Discount Tire. I went there today after make an appointment online they were so nice and so friendly. They fixed my tire and I was on the road in less than 45 minutes. they didn't charge me a dime for fixing a tire that I bought at Walmart that refused to fix it because they said it was too close to the sidewall. They just won my business and when I need tires even though they're more expensive I'm going to them because their service is stupendous compared to the jerks at Walmart. read more

From now on, I will always buy my tires at Discount Tire on Colorado Blvd. I had done my research and knew what tires I wanted. I knew tirerack.com had them for $72. I walked into Discount Tire and asked for a quote. It was $98 a tire, not including installation. I asked if they price-matched. "Sure do," said Derek. Derek asked up how much they were on tirerack, and I told him $72. He said, "how does $70 sound, plus shipping." Deal done. I knew getting them from tirerack would cost me about $450 with everything, and with Derek matching the price, that's what it came out to. Derek was very professional and helpful. The job was done in about an hour. Very good. The guy who brought me my keys and and paperwork was also very professional. Tightly run shop. I highly recommend them. read more

Fast installs but lousy warranty. If the tire fails they make you buy a new warranty for the replacement tire. Second, the the mileage warranty doesn't mean much because you only have three years to use up those miles! It doesn't say that on the website, it only says that on the receipt. Maybe this is the way this industry operates but to me, if a tire is supposed to last 60,000 miles then it should be guaranteed for 60,000 miles. Ugh read more

Excellent service!! I stopped in the night prior to an appointment I made online, in the hopes of dropping off my deflated, nail damaged tire, to speed the process the next day. The sales associate was able to fit me in that night, and have me on my way within 20 minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back for future tire needs. read more

I would not recommend Discount Tire. I tried to get snow tires there. I was repeatedly left on hold for long periods of time. Two different people promised to call me back about tires I wanted, and I still haven't heard from the last guy. I wound up going to Coloradoland instead and had a much better experience. read more

This place is legit. I got there at 545, Fifteen minutes before they closed. They took the time to take a look at my flat tire and repaired it with no upsell pressure. I was out of there by 6 o'clock even with about 6 other customers there as well. This place knocks the socks off my last tire replacement center. Thumbs up! read more

Things started out poorly when they forgot to call me when the car was ready. No big deal really. Then I asked them to lock the keys in my car so I could retrieve it after business hours. I went to retrieve the car and could not find my keys. Unfortunately they forgot to put them in the car. This was on Saturday, so that meant no car Sunday, Monday (memorial day) and I could actually get my keys back Tuesday. I had to work early Tuesday morning so I had to borrow a car to get to work. To say the least I was frustrated with Discount Tire. Then came Tuesday morning. I received a call at 7:30 from James, who accepted responsibility and corrected the situation. He offered to pay for a cab so my girlfriend could get the car, and then he refunded me the cost of both tires that I had purchased. I really appreciated the professional and prompt manner that this was handled. Even though it was an inconvenience to not have my car for a couple days, I felt James went above and beyond and fixed the situation. Discount Tire EARNED my business and made sure that I'll return to them for tires in the future. Good on you Discount, and great job James on the way you handled the situation. read more

This morning I woke up with a flat tire. My neighbor had an air compressor and I made it down to Discount Tire. They are very nice, and always friendly. Took my Audi in to them because it kept showing alerts about the Tire Pressure. We wondered if it was because of fluctuating weather at first. Doesn't seem to matter what Discount Tire I go to, it's always a great experience. They'll match prices if I find a better deal, they'll usually fix my flats for free, and they always bend over backwards to help me out. I have some not-too-common tire sizes, and while they often don't have anything in stock, they'll bring it in within a day or two. I got stuck in Nevada one time and they spent all afternoon looking for solutions for me, and finally got me on the road a little after they closed for the day (they stayed late for me). For a big chain, these guys always seem really focused on customer service, and I'll keep going back. read more

I was not impressed with my service. They never called to confirm the work was completed as promised (I had to call 30 mins before they closed to confirm if I should come by or not). AND they did not lock my car after parking it, leaving it unsecured for an indeterminate amount of time in a 6 hour window. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, I found out it was left unlocked in an unsupervised back alley. read more

After driving for three days from San Francisco, the emergency tire light came on in my car. I came off the freeway and called AAA, asking for a tow. (I could add that the car was packed full of furniture and things we were bringing to our daughter, and I didn't want the car left outside. The guy I spoke with at Discount Tire assured me that he would lock the car inside.) Anyway, once I got there, I spoke with Brian, who looked at the tires and said he didn't see anything wrong. He said that tires require more air at high altitudes, and he suggested that I allow them to add air and see if the sensors readjusted. We tried that, and it worked. I feel confident that these folks do the work required, and don't try to sell more than is needed. If they had said I needed more, I would have gone along with it. This business just lost a long term customer. Over recent years I've had three sets of four new tires installed at this location and have been generally pleased with the service - until yesterday. Their counter-sales person, Bryan Schafer, neglected to tell me two important things: they now charge for installation and spin balancing (it had been included with a four set purchase the last two times) and they charged me for a "tire mileage warranty" plan that wasn't mentioned and I did not ask for. I should have been asked if I wanted that, and informed about their "new charges". I purchased the same priced tires all three times and yet my bill yesterday was over one hundred dollars more. I only realized that when I got home and reviewed my previous bills. I called and spoke with a manager named Diego, who nonchalantly stated they now charge for work that previously had been included with the tire purchase. I ought to have been informed about that significant change upfront also. As far as being charged for the "warranty plan" I had not requested, the manager told me I would need to make a trip back there to be issued a refund. He also called me "Mr. Peter" (which is my first name, not my last). When I returned for my refund and again reminded Diego that I had not been charged for installation the last two times, he actually smirked (which was offensive), and said, "That was a few years ago. Things change." This business might do well to inform customers of that significant change. I told the manager, "you have just lost a long term customer". The guy could care less. He said nothing. We recently bought new tires for both our vehicles from this Discount Tire and had a great experience. We were pleased with the available appointment times and online booking was very convenient. Due to other plans, we were unable to drop one of our vehicles off in the morning before the appointment so DT was kind enough to let us park it right out front and just drop a key in the box for a 10:30 AM appointment. The service itself was quick, even on extremely busy days. The staff gave great recommendations on what tires would be best for our vehicles and driving habits, which was very helpful. On one vehicle, we originally brought it in for a flat fix. Turns out there were nails in the sidewalls of two tires and couldn't properly be repaired. We weren't planning on buying a whole new set of tires that day and the staff was very patient when I asked to have some time to do my own research before they installed tires (it was getting later in the afternoon at that point). At no point did they make us feel rushed into making a large decision, even where there were others waiting. In addition, we were pleased to find out they were offering rebates on both sets of tires we purchased. We will definitely be back in the future for additional purchases and service. They truly have great staff that will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need and the convenient location and scheduling service is a great bonus. Thanks Discount Tire! read more

Holy cow! I am not a car person and I really waited till the last minute to put new tires on my VW but I had to and had to come to the realization that I would probably be spending $50 that I don't have just for an install of tires I brought in. Not the case at all! It ended up only being $20, only took 15 minutes and they threw a pair of tires on the back wheels so I would be safer since I truly needed all 4 replaced. Wow! This place is AWESOME! After a terrible experience at one of Discount Tires competitors, Seasonal Tire Storage (The company who stores my tires) referred me to go here! I have been to this location before but the level of customer service Shawn and Jesse bring to the showroom is first class! Not only was the place rocking busy but these guys still busted through the line and got to me fast! They swapped out my tires in record time and promptly called to let me know they were done! It was clear to me i was a valued customer and they wanted my business which was completely absent with there competitor! It's always a pleasure doing business with these folks! I don't know anything about tires, but I can smell a scam. I went in for a set a four tires and politely listened while Paul tried to sell me insurance and something called sizing. I also politely declined both services. But the sizing charges ended up on the bill anyway (of course). Luckily I spotted them before I left the place. I wonder how many other women get "accidentally" charged for extra services that they decline? My guess is quite a few. Other than that, the service was friendly and quick. I'm just sick of being ripped off by the automotive places that think just because you're a woman you're some kind of mark. read more
