One day, I walked out of a store and noticed that my tire looked a little flat. Bummed out, I remembered that my mom had gotten her tire fixed at Discount Tire the week before so I decided to make the trek over. I wasn't expecting much, but hot diggity dog was this one of the best consumer experiences I've had in a while! I pulled up, they checked my tire pressure FOR FREE, diagnosed me with a nasty nail, then proceeded to explain that they would fix it FOR FREE and it would be waiting for me in a few hours. What in the ham sandwich?! I've never heard of anything like this. I thought it was a joke. It wasn't. Sure enough, they called me a few hours later, I went to pick up my car, and didn't have to pay a dime. I see what they did there. They provide these services for free to impress you, create a positive rapport, and hopefully create lifelong customers. Well, it WORKED. The service here is outstanding! I called to see if they had the type of tires I wanted for my car. The guy on the phone was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He said they had two in stock and could get two more by that evening. I thanked him and hung up. After checking other places I decided to call him back. He said, "I had a feeling you would call back so I already ordered them and they will be here shortly. We can put them on this afternoon." As I got out of my car I was greeted by a friendly guy and the great service continued until I was ready to leave. The wait time was about an hour as promised and the price was good. Husband and I were driving back from VA to FL with a trailer load of things from my grandfathers house since he passed away 8 months ago. We had a blow out on I95 in the trailer which we had trouble trying to change on the side of the interstate. We finally made it 3 miles on the blown tire to the next exit with a truck stop where we were able to change to the spare tire. We did not feel safe riding the next 12 hrs on the other older trailer tires. The first tire place we called did not answer. I called discount tire in Henrico, VA. Hubert answered on the first ring. He was very nice, said they had 5 of the trailer tires we needed in stuck and could set them aside while we were in our way and have someone get the change done within an hour and a half once we got there. We made it in about 20 mins, got the trailer checked in with rep Jake Wester. He was very helpful, extremely nice about our situation and even cared by asking questions about our travels. We went next door to Marshall's, took our truck through a car wash and even got some lunch. Then the trailer was ready within a little over an hour and a half. We have been away from home for over a week and a half and obviously have a very long ride home to FL, so with this inconvenience in our travels the service at discount tire really helped ease our minds and stress. Would highly recommend this place! P.S I am also 6 months pregnant, so with emotions being high and exhausted from all the travels .. this was all just icing on the cake. read more

I've been going to discount tire for the past three years. Purchasing rims and tires. My rims have never been scratch, nicked; nor damage until this last visit. I've always asked for their best employee to rotate tires as the redshirt representative reply all employees are experts. As I watch a young man with dark hair; the top was long and flip over to one side, get into my car and see back tires peel out. As he moves the car into position in bay. Two tires were removed and lay against a tall item while the other person helping out just roll the tires let it drop front rim side face down on the cement floor. Redshirt rep told me that the car is done and ask for me to wait outside as he back it out. I quickly notice the damage to two of the rims. Redshirt rep told me to bring the car by next week and he will have someone fix it. He knew I never took the vehicle to any car wash, it's hand wash winter, spring, summer, and fall by me; told him the car will be here this coming Monday, Oct 19, 2020. Twenty minutes later he calls and info that the damage report had to be submitted to headquarters and he talk with his employees who rotated tires and he flat out said he believed them. I ask did you watch them or have a camera in the Bay Area; a few seconds passed as he answers no. I'm very angry that he lied taking back his first offer. The employees in Bay Area where tires are rotated removed old one tire and add new tire. They're playing around not paying attention to jobs that needed get done. One guy in a red shirt has an attraction towards a female employee and grabs her face mask and told her you like being in a submissive position. I served in the military for 16 years. I must commend the staff at Discount Tires. I came in yesterday for a plug to be put in one of my tires and unfortunately it was beyond repair. Addy took care of me. However I had to wait hours for a new tire to come. They were slammed and forgot to call me about the tire. So I decided to drive up there and they were swamped. Although it took another 1.5 hours to mount my tire, they took care of me. However the new tire went flat. Usual for a new tire. But the next day, the manager Eric took care of me.
