Uber had been called and ready to take me to lunch while the car was serviced. Then came the switch... The price on the register was DOUBLE the quoted amount and on the printed rate on advertised flyer. The cashier then pointed to a half-torn paper on the station explaining that due to the "tariffs" there is an extra cost. Of course this could have been explained at the time of scheduling, but then they can't easily rope you in. And that's the last time Big O got a dime from me.

I was actually getting an oil change at the Valvoline location next-door, and wanted to get my tires rotated. I have a 2021 Ford bronco, and unfortunately, Valvoline lifts couldn't accommodate a truck of my size. But I noticed the goodyear next-door seem to have some open slots in their bays so I walked over to ask if they could potentially accommodate my request. I had a nail in the front right tire and knew that I needed to rotate the spare on until I got the nail removed and the tire fixed. Not only did they rotate the tires for me, but they checked out the tire with the nail in it, and informed me that that Tire was not going to be repairable. So the salesman also pulled an estimate up on how much the tire would cost for me to order, as tires for Ford Broncos are not usually stocked by most tire shops. After giving me the estimate, and taking care of my rotation, they sent me on my way, without any charge. Definitely appreciate the level of service and the value!

I told them I just wanted the ac fixed and I know my car needs a lot of work. They didn't try to get me to fix all the other stuff with my car but did tell me what they felt needed to be done. I got calls throughout the time they had my car to keep me informed of what was done and permission to perform the work. I don't remember if it was ac compressor or condenser but one of those things went out. Yes it was pricey to fix but it wouldn't have been any different at another shop and I had my car back before they closed that day.
