No more, I am sick of the shit. $1200 worth of tires, set an appointment for a tire rotation, show up for said appointment to be told 1&1/2 hours for rotation as we have other people ahead of you. I was assisted today, April 11, 2019, by Jason D. Nez (salesperson) and two young men in the service area. My invoice #1863280. I cannot thank these 3 gentlemen enough! They really went beyond the call of duty on my 2012 Honda Pilot. I had just been to Sears Auto on Oracle Rd. to have a nail pulled out of my tire, and patched. I had purchased these 4 tires at this Sears location 2 years prior at a cost of over $900.00. The Sears technician told me that the tire was not repairable and that they would need to at least replace the two rear tires at a cost of over $400.00. Furthermore, he told me that the front struts needed to be replaced, at a cost of over $500.00. Fortunately, I told him that I had to take care of something else first. I then proceeded to the Discount Tire location at 3960 W Ina Rd. They not only repaired my tire, they also rotated all 4 tires and replaced the tire sensor and they did all this FOR FREE!!! I went from a very glum, unhappy man to a guy with a smile as wide as Texas. When the time does come for me to purchase new tires, this Discount Tire location will be the store that I go to. This incident really reinforced my belief that there still are true and honest human beings out there in the auto repair industry. Thank you gentlemen! read more

Great service with follow-up. Easily set up my rim selection and appointment online. Came in the next day and discovered I marked 17" rims instead of 18". Saul said it wouldn't be a problem and had another store bring the correct size over. Installed in a timely manner and they look great. read more

These guys are the best! I called in because after having two tired put on 4 months prior, I was now able to get my other tired replaced. When I called in Jordan helped me and told me they would be able to match the price I had paid for my other tires. This was great news considering how long it had been! I asked if I could come in at about 4:30p and he said yes and told me it would be 90mins. When I walked in he remembered me from before and before I even said why I was there took my keys and started me service. I needed 4 new tires for our BMW so went to Discount Tire. I had ordered tires on line and went to my appointment. When it was my turn the person helping me suggested I consider an upgrade to a Michelin which I did. However, I had to reschedule as they needed to order tires. A few days later I went back for the install. A couple hours later I was on my way home. As I got home, the low tire pressure lite came on. It was too late to go back to the shop, so I planned to go back the next day. The next day I headed back to the shop to get the tires checked. I parked and got a sales tech, he checked the tire and told me it was ruined and had to be replaced. This meant they had to order a new tire which they would not get until two days later. Another delay and no vehicle. Had to have my wife come pick me and we had to change both our schedules around to accommodate only having one car for two/three days. Len learned of our trauma and he stepped in and took charge to rectify the situation we were in. He obtain a tire we needed locally and got us on the road that same day!!! Praise to Len for making a bad situation into a good one. He went above and beyond in "customer service" to make us happy. He and I both know what he did to keep a regular customer a happy customer!! read more

Had a flat tire from a screw puncture on a sunday and took it to Firestone who not only kept my car all day, but at 5 pm when I went to pick it up, was told it wasn't fixable. Stopped by Discount Tire the next day, and within 20 minutes, my tire was fixed with no charge. Wonderful service. Saved over 200 dollars from having to buy a new tire. I was going for an out-of-town trip. I needed a new spare with a wheel. The wheel was very affordable. The new tire and wheel was over $100 less than another tire company offered. PLUS Discount Tire had my wheel in stock & I didn't have to wait until they could have one shipped from another store. After I talked to Discount Tire on the phone and told them what I needed, when I arrived at their store, they had my spare ready to go - new tire & new wheel. I pulled in because I thought I had bought my tires from a Discount Tire in Portland Oregon and I wanted to get the pressure checked. The guy check them and they were good even after 7,000+ miles in the last 2 months. He suggested they be rotated and said it was free and would only take a few minutes. I said sure and got my paperwork out from my glove box. When I showed it to him he said that is not their paperwork, but not to worry because they will rotate my tires for free. If the service is that good when I didn't even buy my tires from their company imagine what it must be like if you did. They deserve all five stars. I'm a fan! read more

I had a screw in my tire and I was at the shop on Saturday and they fixed it. On the way home I somehow ran over some more screws and now had an additional 2/3 screws in my tire. Went back to the shop on Monday and they recognized me from Saturday and did not make me wait long. They took my car back right away and fixed it for me. This time replacing the tire and only charging a minimal cost. Great group of guys to work with. read more

I have been a loyal customer for many years. I have reached the point where I will no longer shop at discount tire. After purchasing 4 tires less than a year ago we began to notice a bubble in one of the tires. After having to replace that tire we noticed a second tire with the same issue. Basicly the radials within the tire were breaking apart. Long story short, after long hassle and negotiation, discount charged me over $200 to resolve the defective tires. Their stance is that they have no control over the manufacturer. In my opinion, as a business owner myself, that is a weak and pathetic business model. Rather than ensuring that a long time loyal customer was satisfied, they decided to get whatever little amount of money they could out of the situation. Sad read more

I've issues with this store before but today was by far my worst experience. I probably have purchased over 60+ tires from here in the past 8 years and also recommend my costumers. Today all I needed was a flat repair on my service truck. I made an appointment so I wouldn't have to take too much time off work only for them to tell me that they couldn't fix it because it would affect the integrity of the tire. I know it's repairable, I worked at Goodyear for 12 years doing tires. The nail is in the thread 2" from the edge. While waiting for them to put it back on someone else was literally yelling at one of the associates for the same reason that he was trying to sell him a tire when it was actually repairable. It must be the company that pushes them to sell tires, they work on commission or just the works at that location. Who knows, all I know is that my tire was repairable and they tried to sell me a new one instead and send me on my way with a leaking tire. read more

Shows opens at 8am so sitting outside on cold cement bench waiting for 8am. What happened to customer service? They could let me in and say "We'll be right with you". Super professional, checked all my Hummer H2 tires, repaired the valve stem on the spare (reason for visit), and put it back in the back nicely with the cover all secured. Best part? No charge. Zero. When I brought my wife's car in for a flat repair and they said it was dangerous and they wouldn't fix the tire, I has to replace it - I didn't give it much thought. The tires were getting a bit long in the tooth. When I went back a few weeks later with my daughters car, they said the same thing, even going so far as to try and scare her with how "dangerous" her tires were, and that she should avoid driving as much as possible until they were replaced. They scared the hell out of a 19 year old girl in a new city, and they LIED. Half of Lincoln's head is buried in that tread. There are five thousand miles on these tires. It is unconscionable that these people would be so predatory and irresponsible. They will never get another dime from me. read more

Don't be fooled by setting an appointment on the website for this location. Despite only rotating and rebalancing the tires they still claim you're in for at least a 50 minute wait. I've done business with discount tire all my life and was quite surprised with this lack of regard to having "an appointment." For drop offs, I still will work with this location because it is the closest to my home. However, I'll try an appointment at another location. Took 30 minutes after my "appointment" to get my vehicle in the bay; 20 minutes labor, so the 50 minutes greeting was spot on. So raising my 1 star rating to 3. Be warned; unless you have the first of the morning appointment, there won't be a bay dedicated for appointments. You're still in the queue when you arrive. read more

These guys are lifesavers. Ended up with a flat front tire, pulled into Discount tire about 5 min to 6 pm on a Friday - not only were they able to get me not one, but four new tires, in about a half an hour, they did it with a smile. Not once did I feel like I was putting anyone out, and the store hours showed they closed at 6 pm. read more

Discount Tire has always delivered. I have purchased tires from this and other Discount Tire locations and have never been disappointed. There are shops all over the place that can handle your problem if you are in need. Best experience was when I was driving home on I-10 near Ina Rd., I lost the tread on one of my tires. It was 4:50PM and Discount was supposed to close at 5PM on a Saturday. I slowly drove off the freeway to Discount Tire. The bay doors were 3/4 closed and I was sure that I was going to be in a pinch. The employees at the store elected to stay on their own time to fix the problem. They noticed a flaw in another tire and replaced that one too. The tires had a road hazard warranty and did not cost me anything extra. I was very impressed. They worked fast, had a great attitude and put the customer first! read more

I got a nail in my tire right at the borderline patch point. I first took my car to Walmart and the technicians refused to even look at it. Told me the only thing I can buy is for $180.00 . I can't afford that today so I called these guys to see if I can have a new less expensive tire put on. I was in luck, they did and they could ... the turning point in this story that took my experience from "great, $115.00 that I really needed to allocate to something else" to "tears of joy" was when Esteban looked at the tire and said "you know what, I bet we can repair this and save you money". The fact that he looked at it and said he would try was good enough for me! Took about 45 minutes all together at about 2:30 in the afternoon to get done and when Esteban came back around to check on the customers in the lobby he gave me good news. It was repairable!
