Came into store at 4:00pm. Was told they would repair my flat tire by 5:15pm as nine cars were ahead of me. It Is now 5:30 and have been sitting for an hour and a half. Nobody came to update my repair. The car is still not being worked on and Nobody seems to care. Avoid this store at all costs as management and customer service is Non existent! Try another discount location unless you want slow or no service as this place is horrible. Yes they are nice when you come in, but after they book you in, they forget you are there. Discount does volume, not service to customers. They never were like this in the past. Probably a bad managed store that only cares about cash flow and no customer service. read more

Usually, I'd give Discount Tire 4-5 stars but my latest experience with this place left me shaking my head...It all started w/a tire pressure low warning light and I went to DT to have it checked out...they found a nail in my L rear tire and fixed that. The salesperson talked me into ordering 4 tires/rims. They came in a few days later and after about an hour, I was on my way. They kept my old wheels and I returned a few hours later to pick them up. I was assisted in loading said wheels into a borrowed vehicle and though I did notice they were not re-inflated, I went home w/them...A few days later I was showing my neighbor my new rims and in cleaning them off, I noticed a 12" area where the paint had been scraped off and covered with a black rubberized product... I returned to DT to show my salesman the damaged rim, whereby he stated: "You curbed your rim!" I told him, no, it was damaged in mounting it and was covered up...He said, no, I had my "best man" on it and he wouldn't have damaged/covered it up. I replied, you did notice my old rims/tires of a year had ZERO damage on them, so how/why would I damage my new ones in the course of 3 days?! Further, you can feel the rubber cover-up still visible... he replied, well it's been less than 90-days since you bought them, so we'll replace them... Come to find out, the rims I JUST ordered are on a 30-day back order. Also the lug nuts they put on were chrome and obviously they should have been black (black rims), so I was told they'd be ordered and I'd be contacted when that was done...I've yet to hear these lugs have been ordered after a week...STILL waiting after a week & 1/2 to get black lug nuts...Finally got new rim in/on, along with black lugs. They told me (afterwards) to "be careful, don't scrape your rim again..." read more

I have to say the customer service here is beyond outstanding. I brought my car in and although they were busy, they got me in and out quickly. I was greeted promptly, they asked if I wanted water while I waited, and everyone smiled and said hi. They were fantastic!! Thank you. read more

My car warning system showed the tire pressure was low. I drove to Discount Tire on Tanque Verde where I purchased the tires. When I checked the tires, I found a nail in the drivers side front tire. The person on duty at the air station told me to go inside and check in and they would fix the tire. I went inside and was told that there was no way they could see me as they were too busy. This was about 12 noon. I was told I could come back later in the day. When I returned to the car, the person at the air station said I will just fill up the tire, and it should be good for at least 2 days. I had my wife bring the car back at about 4 pm and again she was told they were too busy, and she would have to come back tomorrow. It is now 9 pm and I am waiting for roadside assistance as the front tire is completely flat. We had spent a great deal of money at this Discount Tire store over the years. But you can be sure we are going elsewhere from now on. They not only give you completely wrong information, but they have no customer service. read more

"Deals" are not actually much better at this place unless you're buying an entire set of tires. The customer service was average. Often times I was made to wait for a phone caller or another customer. Face time with a staff member was short and not very thorough. Did do a good job of scheduling me for a same-day appt. read more

I have never ever had a problem with these guys. They have done awesome work on my tires and when I came in with a thorn in my tire, they replaced it for free because I had insurance. Im sorry to hear other people got bad sales pitches, I fortunately never had to deal with that. The insurance is worth it in case something happens! read more

I got right in at 2:50 pm on Thursday and was treated with respect. I got the exact tire and price for the full set of 4 tires that I was looking for. No hassle, no salesman trying to up sell me. Had a great experience with these folks. They price matched a competitor, but then said they could get the tires from their warehouse in Phoenix the same day and get them on for me. I was not sure they could pull that off, but the tires came in at 4 o'clock and they called me right up, and by 5 o'clock the tires are on the car! Delivered as promised! read more

Excellent customer service! I arrived about 20 minutes before they opened and waited outside and could see they were having a morning meeting. Once they opened they came out and greeted everyone waiting outside with a few service guys and they had first called out names of customers that made appointments then had a list of vehicles and the order they pulled in. I accidentally made an appointment for the next day but they were able to get me in and out within 30 minutes. I will definitely always choose this location whenever I need tires and would highly recommend them! read more

I have always gone to discount tire stores across Tucson, I regularly got my rotations done at the one on Ina west of Thornydale and let's just say they set the bar high. My service at this location was average. I walked in and there was no one in the lobby, so I had to wait ten minutes to be acknowledged. And I understand they are all working, but my experience at the other store someone always said hello. They had a 3 1/2 hour wait. Which was almost double what it usually is. Understandable. They gave me call when my car was ready, the guy handed me my keys and told me to pay. No thank you, how are you, no hello... On my drive home I noticed a noise. So the next day I called and talked to Anthony and ask him if I could bring it in. He said yeah and to ask for him when I got there. He immediately took my car for a test drive and looked at it in the shop. All in all he fixed the problem with no hesitation and mention the was sorry they didn't fix it yesterday. Morale of the review: Overall this location is sub par to other locations I have visited. But ANTHONY IS THE MAN And will probably be the only reason I go back to this location. read more

On 9/14/16, a Michelin tire I had purchased at this location was going flat. After dropping my car off, I returned an hour or so later and was told it was ready (no further explanation). Assuming the flat had been fixed and put back on my vehicle, I left. However, I soon realized the air pressure sensor in the tire had not been reset (causing various alerts to flash every time I started the vehicle). I returned on 9/16 to have the sensor reset. After I arrived I was asked to get in the tire pressure line so they could (supposedly) reset the sensor. After waiting about 15 minutes in line, I was asked to move around to the side of the building, where I waited another 30 minutes. Only then was I informed that my spare had actually been placed on my car, while my original tire (including sensor) was still at the shop! Apparently, my original tire couldn't be fixed and a replacement (uncommon size) had to be ordered. I was completely unaware that I had been driving around without a spare! They then retrieved my original tire and placed it in the back. Supposedly, the sensor could now be read. Of course, they lied again and the warning signals continued for several days. At this stage, I gave up and took my vehicle to Jack Furrier's. Wait, it gets better, 2 months later I received a call from Discount Tire that my new tire was on-site! read more

I have always had excellent quick service at both Discount Tire, Ina Rd, locations in Tucson. I pulled up to the bay at this location on East Tanque Verde Rd to get a simple tire pressure check. It took nearly 20 min and meant my having to go into the main office to request the service and I still had a lengthy time.. At the Ina Rd's two locations in Tucson, and several other of the city's locations you simply pull your car up to the bay and they nearly immediately come out to greet you and do the pressure check. Not here... no one came, they never even acknowledged my presence and there were at least four employees in the area whom could easily see me waiting. It felt like if you weren't buying tires they had no time to assist you. I Will not use this location again. The guy never even said hello that did the tire check. I've been buying tires from this company for well over a decade for our three cars. This was a very disappointing experience at this site for this otherwise great company. I suppose there is a reason this location rates poorly in comparison to others in the Tucson area. read more

I purchased all four of tires from them under two years ago. I got a nail in one in a non dangerous part, I stopped by to see if it was repairable. The woman at the front took a look and told me "No it was not repairable" and since I did not buy the extended warranty i would have to purchase a new one. I decided to go two other places for another opinion and both said it was repairable and fixed it for FREE. Very disappointed in the honesty. read more

No appointments were available; however, Kevin told me to bring it in by 8:00 AM and they would get to it on a first come, first serve basis. Had a slow leak in one of my tires. Brought our truck here to fix a flat 45 mins before closing on a holiday weekend. They had several cars ahead of ours but told us they would take customers up until closing and stay until they finished them all. It turned out our tire wasn't repairable (not visible until tire was removed) but unfortunately it was too late (2-hours after closing) to replace it. They put on our spare, checked our remaining tires and charged us nothing. read more
