I always get my tires from Discount. The guys at this location are always very nice & extremely informative! I never have to worry if they're "getting over" on me. I needed new tires on my Honda, I can't remember how long it'd been since I had newbies. To my surprise, one expired and the other three, I was able to get some money back towards my new tires. The rep explained everything in regards to the wear of my old ones in perfect detail. They also told me about my alignment needs. I made an appointment the day before for 4 new tires. i selected them on line and it said tires in stock. I arrived early and waited about 30 minutes after appointment for them to take car in. I sat there one and a half hours and finally asked what was taking so long, only to find out they only had 3 in stock and had sent someone to another store to get another one. I was there over 3 hours. About a month latter I went by at 5:15pm to get a screw removed and patch tire. I was told they had sent all mechanics home when they are open to 6:00 pm. I'm a really big fan of Discount Tire. Unfortunately, my favorite location doesn't do alignments, so I searched to find this location nearby and called to ask about an appointment. They told me they don't do appointments for alignments. Ok, got it. My next question was, what's the latest I could come today to get an alignment. The response was 5pm. Great! I leave my job early to get here before the cut off. I drive 20 mins in the opposite direction of my home and arrive before 5pm. Imagine my disappointment when I check in only to be told "he has 3 cars before you and if he takes you it would put us at 6:30 or 7 and we close at 6." Here's the thing. I don't know much about alignments, but for a place of business, communication is key, so your customer can make better decisions. If I call at 4pm and ask, how late I can get there for an alignment TODAY, it's the perfect opportunity to share that you already have a queue, or that it's a high likelihood that arriving at 5 will prevent you from getting the service you require. Or you can say, just because you arrive before 5, doesn't mean you will be able to get an alignment. What makes matters worse is that the guy who I spoke to couldn't care less about the whole thing, even after me explaining that I just called. I'm giving a 2 instead of a 1 star b/c I take responsibility for not researching more about alignments and asking more questions to prevent this scenario. But in my defense, most places I've gone, if you get there before the cut off, you can still receive the service. I can guarantee I will not be back to this location. But, if how the guy I was talking to is any indication of the sentiment here, I doubt you all/they care. read more

I was a DT avid supporter for the last 24 years...not any longer. My wife took her vehicle to them to have the tires rotated. The tires have 23k miles on them. They are rated for 65k. They told here that she needed 3 new tires because the front ones were worn and that there was a tire in the back that had a nail in it. The tires have been rotated three times already as we understand the importance of rotating tires correctly. The "nail" that was in the tire was a construction staple that went in on one side, about a millimeter. I pulled it out with my fingers. Highly disappointed. I understand y'all's job is to sell tires, I really do. However, plainly lying to sell tires is not a good look. We went to Firestone at 92 and 575. They rotated the tires and said that they have another 10-15k. David Sellers is the manager there. Ask for him. He is wonderful. read more

I have used this tire store for many years and got good service until now! I had a flat on my car and scheduled an appointment. Got there and explained I needed my tire fixed and please rotate tires. Left it with them and they called right away to tell me my tires were worn out and I needed new tires. I told them to go ahead and repair the flat tire and get me an estimate on the new ones, I would be able to make my trip and decide what and when I put new tires on it. I was keeping in mind that I had looked at my tires and could see 8-9 32 nds of rubber on my tires. They told me my car was ready and I picked it up. Started on my trip next morning and the tire was flat. They never repaired! I called manager to explain the tire tech had screwed me over on the repair, he was sympathetic. In fact, they now have a machine to enable wheel alignments! Which I had done today on my 2013 Sorento. Stephen was amazing. Conducted a free alignment check. Carefully explained the results. Took care of the actual wheel alignment in short order. And brought my car around as if I was a country club VIP. (I imagine since I don't golf, am not a member of any country club, and am certainly not a VIP - except for when I'm at a Discount Tire, of course.) My friends think I work for this place because I'm always recommending them whenever the topic of tires comes up. My only suggestion for improvement? Have UNOS pizzeria open up within the lobby so the hard-working crew can have fresh, hot Chicago style pizza to fuel their tire frenzy. :-) read more

Going into a tire place for the first time as a girl I expected to have a bad experience (as most the auto industry tends to overcharge women) and had my father come with me. I went in to get a slow leak fixed in my tire and the gentleman at the counter Javier was generous enough to provide me with the wheel lock key I was missing free of charge when I dropped off the car. Upon return the car was not only fixed but done in about an hour. Javier informed us of what damage was fixed and told us to have a great day. There was some miscommunication about the location. I got bounced between the Woodstock stores and spent an extra half an hour driving between locations and waiting in line. Regardless, Jefferson did a good job in steering me towards a more durable tire since my previous tires wore out about 60% through the warranty. He also got me a refund for the early wear on the old tires. He provided better service than anyone else that's replaced my tires. read more

Benjamin charged me $10 more for a tire sensor today than the Alpharetta location charged me for two other sensors. I even called the Woodstock location on the way and was quoted the same price as Alpharetta. When I brought this to Benjamin's attention, he refused to reduce the charge. Once I got home, I called my regular Alpharetta location, and they said it was ridiculous and even offered to refund me. I literally just bought two new tires yesterday and my husband bought 4 tires within the last 60 days. Obviously it's only $10.. but it's the principal being charged the same as their other locations and also what they quoted me on the phone as I was driving over! They ended up calling me back 3 hours later with tires in stock and availability for install same day. Whom It May Concern, On Monday, September 16, 2024, I called the Discount Tire location at 160 Woodstock Square Ave, Woodstock, GA, at 11:38 AM and spoke with Corey about ordering a set of tires for my daughter's car. Corey assured me he would place the order and call me when the tires arrived so I could bring the car in for installation. Approximately an hour later, I called back to get a time estimate and was told they had just placed the order. By 4 PM, I had still heard nothing, so I called again and spoke with Corey. He informed me that the tires had arrived but, since he hadn't been the one to receive them, no one had called me. He also said they didn't have time to install the tires that day and asked if I could bring the car in the next morning. While disappointed that no one followed up as promised, I agreed. Due to my work schedule, I wasn't able to arrive until just before 10 AM the next day. I checked in, explained the situation, and reminded them that Corey had specifically told me to come in that morning. The gentleman who checked me in said it would be about an hour to an hour and a half wait. Corey, who was present, said nothing. By noon, after sitting there for two hours, I approached the counter to check on the status of the car, only to be told that they hadn't even started on it. Corey then proceeded to tell me, condescendingly, that since I didn't make an appointment, I was considered a walk-in and would have to wait my turn. He walked away without acknowledging that I was there because he failed to follow through on what he promised the previous day. Frustrated and upset, I stepped outside to calm down. As I sat on the bench, I noticed two managers walking around speaking to the male customers, asking them about their service and apologizing for any wait times. Both of them walked right past me without saying a word, yet they spoke to the men sitting on the bench next to me. It wasn't until I expressed my frustration that anyone addressed me. Finally, a manager approached and asked how long I had been waiting. I told him about my experience, explaining that I had been there since before 10 AM and it was now 1 PM. He assured me they would take care of it immediately and offered to remove the labor charge from my bill due to the delay. After I left the shop, not even two miles down the road, I realized something was wrong with the tires. I returned to the store, and they confirmed that the tires were "way out of balance," forcing me to wait even longer while they corrected the issue. In total, I was at Discount Tire from 10 AM until 5:30pm , and though the labor charge was removed, the entire experience was exhausting and frustrating. The lack of communication, the dismissive treatment, and the fact that I was overlooked as the only woman in the waiting area made this situation feel even more unacceptable. I'm sharing this experience in the hopes that management will take steps to improve the professionalism and customer service, particularly for women who visit your stores. No customer should ever feel ignored or dismissed in the way that I did. Booked an appointment for a rotate and balance online for 1:30 PM yesterday, arrived at 1:20 and checked in. At 2:24 they finally pulled my truck into the garage. Then everything went fairly quickly, I got back in the truck at 2:43 PM. So a 54-minute wait for a 19-minute service? And they advertise their online appointments as " Skip the wait - schedule your service instead!"? I've been buying tires and having them rotated from this store for years and their so-called "appointments" are a joke. They have good prices, do a good job on maintenance and they use road-force balancing, which is why I keep coming back. So I give them three stars for that. But they really need to work on the appointments thing, I've NEVER brought a vehicle in at the appointment time and not had to wait at least half an hour for it to be pulled in. read more

A couple years ago I visited Discount Tire because I purchased a car that had after market rims and tires. The rims were damaged so I went to see if they could repair them. Due to the rims being 3 part rims and out of date they advised that they could not repair them, so I purchased new rims from them, they installed them with the current tires that I had purchased from Mavis. Fast forward 2 years later and my TPMS sensors are all dead giving me a check TPMS sensor error on my instrument panel. Lexus explained that they would not replace them due to after market rims and tires, so I return to Discount Tire and they attempted to check the sensors and determined that they all needed replacing. I set an appointment and come in for the repair. Well when I arrive they tell me that the front tires (the ones they sold me the rims for and installed 2 years ago) aren't rated for my vehicle and they cannot replace the sensors (legally not allowed to remove the tires to take them apart). I asked how were they able to do so when they sold me the rims. He couldn't answer that, nor could he explain how the tech looked at my tires when I set the appointment and never mentioned this. Very poor customer service! Tech told me we can't focus on the past and that I had to buy new tires from them. Never apologized for their original screw up (selling and installing rims on tires that aren't load rated for my car), or the fact that they scheduled me for the repairs and somehow failed to mention that my tires weren't the correct load specifications for my vehicle. I will never visit this location again, or ever recommend them to anyone I know. read more

I have bought probably ten sets of tires from Discount Tire and have always been pleased with the service I've received. Everyone is always very nice at both this location and the one on 41. It's great to be able to pull in and get my tires checked without even getting out of the car! My daughter went and had a nail removed and wasn't charged anything for the repair even though she didn't even buy her tires from there. What drew me to this place of business was their website; the affordable prices for great tires, the ease of searching for the best tires and booking an appointment was so convenient and once I booked my appointment, I received a courtesy phone call to confirm -- talk about great customer service. On the day of the appointment, the service men were very professional, knowledgeable and quick and once my car was ready I received a text! Where in the auto service industry does that happen?! They even referred me to 'motor on' across the street for an alignment (where I received a discount for being a customer of discount tire, sweet!). Had a blowout this morning from some road debris, and luckily was close enough to the store to limp my car in. I want to give a shout out to this discount tire location, I purchased rims and tires for a new 2014 Chevy Silverado. After about one week I noticed a vibration, I was thinking that the balance was not done properly so I returned it for a rebalance. I've returned it a second time for rebalance and it still did not fix the issue. The third attempt the store manager suggested changing the brand of tires to a better one, it still didn't work ... After my fourth attempt the manager recommended rim replacement, even a totally different make install without any question or hesitation at all and without additional cost besides labor to install them which was a reasonable $75.i would like to personally think The store manager and the coworker that helped me permanently fix my issue !
