My experience here at Dish N Dash was amazing. This restaurant is self seating and self cleaning, so everything was quick and efficient. When you order/pay at the register, they give you a pager so that when your food is ready, they bring it to you. It was very clean in the restaurant and there are plenty of sauces to choose from for your food. Chicken/Beef Shawarma: I love these plates here. You can choose two sides for each of these plates and realistically, you can probably share one plate amongst two people. The flavor of the meats was perfect and the falafels were not too dry. Pita bread is soft and fluffy, while the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be coming back for one of these plates. Cold Hummus Appetizer: Amazing. Portion is great and the flavor was just out of this world. I would say if you get the plates, you can just add this as a side instead of getting a whole appetizer. read more

Hands down one of the top places that I've had for Mediterranean cuisine. Clean, simple, and very filling. I got the chicken shawarma and the seasoning on the chicken was near immaculate. I wish I had doubled up on the proteins because it was THAT good. They also have a self serve sauce bar on the side with several different house made sauces. The interior and size of the restaurant was rather big! There was plenty of seating and it was pretty busy during lunch time as well. I got falafel and a side salad and the falafel was delicious as well! Nice and savory with a decent crisp on the outer shell. Definitely try out all the sauces that they have to offer! I went to eat in the restaurant for once with my sister on Friday night. There were tables open but it was pretty crowded! You order at the front desk and are given a buzzer. Water and sodas are self service. Sauces are in front of the order desk. Today I got a lamb and beef Kabob on hummus, with falafel and red pepper paste as sides. I've also gotten this exact combo from this location via doordash. I appreciate them have low carb options available. This location has a tendency towards sour hummus, like it's sour all the time and very sour 30% of the time. Sometimes it's soo sour and will ruin the meal, and sometimes it's fine, thankfully this time it was fine, but maybe that's because there was less of it on the plate. Sides at dnd have definitely gotten smaller too, and I believe they're even smaller on in store plates than on to go. I also love zatar and pita, but it's not worth it for the price and quantity you get here. Before they became counter service, the dishdash here served it as an app with unlimited pita and it was soo good. I miss the sit down, you have to go to Sunnyvale for that now. My favorite things to get here are the lamb and beef kabobs, or the sumac chicken, or the mansaf. Dish N Dash has been my go-to for Middle Eastern cuisine for years. Their food is consistently delicious, high quality, and fresh. My favorite entrées are the Beriani Dajaj and Mansaf. If you like aged yogurt, you'll love these. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. Their falafels are an absolute must-try, and if you like lamb, their kibbeh is perfect too. I love a hot and honey combo, so I absolutely loved the Sambusak with the spiced honey. It was perfection with the spinach and cheese filling. Wow. Honestly this place exceeded our expectations as just a quick bite to grab something to eat before our journey back home. We enjoyed their various food offerings which we took to go, so we unfortunately didn't take advantage of their spacious venue which was busy on arrival. One of my favorite restaurants! Hands down the best chicken beriani dajaj! That is my go to dish every time I'm here. The aged yogurt sauce is to die for! It's so good! The chicken breast pieces, potatoes, raisins, and garbanzos complete this perfectly. Not on the menu but they can make a falafel version of their chicken beriani dajaj for vegetarians. This modification isn't available for online orders and needs to be ordered/requested in person. For kebabs, the steak and chicken are both delicious, flavorful, and charred nicely. It's been a few years already but for those who haven't been here in a while the restaurant relocated to the old On the Border restaurant location across the street. There are plenty of dining tables and parking too. You order and pay first at the front of the restaurant. When the pager buzzes you pick up your food to the left of the cash registers. I have eaten at Dish N Dash at least 50 times between all the locations. Tonight I ordered what had been my favorite dish, the Mansaf -- chunks of lamb with yogurt & rice. The last two times have been so disappointing. Tonight there only two very small chunks of lamb plus two tiny shreds -- almost nothing in this $25 dish. And three weeks ago in this same restaurant, the dish was almost as empty. I feel ripped off. There are many other Mediterranean restaurants to support. read more

My second time going to Dish N Dash but first time to the one in Milpitas. The store is huge with a spacious front yard and plenty of parking. Walking inside you'll see a large dining area. It was a little interesting that you still have to wait in line to order and pick up the food yourselves in such a big restaurant. Regarding the food, we ordered Mansaf, which is a bowel of lamb and rice with aged yogurt. The lamb is super tender. The yogurt base is tangy and creamy and comes well with the lamb. We also ordered falafel salad, which comes with falafel, salads, pita breads, and two side choices (I chose hummus and grilled veggies). Falafel is okay, but the grilled veggies were my favorite because of their smoky taste. The portion of the salad is very generous too. They have a lot more items such as kebab and appetizers on their menu. I'd love to give it a try next time! read more

We came here with a party of 8. Several years ago I remember a waitress bringing menus to us, but now you order upfront at the counter and they will bring out the food to you. Food is great, same as I remember it! The portions are good too, enough for an entire leftover meal afterwards. However, their menu is a bit unintuitive and understanding what exactly came with what dish requires more effort than really necessary for a night out. For example, I wasn't sure which dishes had sides and which didn't at an initial glance. Something else that really did not help was the fact that the waitress taking our order at the cashier's continuously put in the wrong meat options. I found this little gem on a trip to Walmart of all places, lol. This space is huge, nice, and modern, with a full bar. DND is good for large groups and small, intimate lunches. There is plenty of parking. You order at the counter and are given a buzzer when it's ready. Dish N Dash was an incredible find for us in the area of Milpitas. Walking into the restaurant, we weren't sure what to expect. By the looks of everything on yelp, it seemed like a sit down restaurant, however they have a fast casual style of ordering the food at the front. We were given numbers and a fob, and then we chose to sit wherever we want. The food was coming out fast, and the presentation of the food was great. My favorite dish was the Beef Shwarma Salad. A medium would be about $20 and comes with your choice of 2 sides. There are plenty of sides to choose from from extra veggies to fries and humus. The beef shwarma wrap was decent, but the best part of the dish was the humus side. It was packed with a lot of flavor for you to dip your wrap into or use the pita bread given. The fries were passable. I wouldn't get them again. We ordered the cauliflower wings. The texture is crunchy and soft on the inside. It was cooked to perfection. You do however have to drown it in the sauces on the side since the wing itself isn't very seasoned and can be a bit bland. Overall, I feel like this restaurant is a great spot for any kind of outing. Happy hour with the bar seating, date night with the romantic ambiance or just a spot to meet with your friends to catch up at. read more

This is the largest and nicest Dish N Dash location I've been to. The food was as good as all the others and the seats are nice because this one has circular booths and TVs inside. The chicken kebab salad and plate is delicious and they charged us $12 for an extra skewer of chicken kebab. The sauces are self serve and at this location they don't have the squeeze bottles but small cups. Service was friendly and good. Utterly delicious!! My partner and I love Mediterranean food and always find that Dish & Dash does it best. We tend to choose the lamb, beef, or chicken shrawma plates with rice and garlic dip. I was a bit hesitant about the falafel b/c it tends to be a hit or miss at some spots, however, this falafel was perfectly crispy and the inside was moist and not dry at all! As for the wrap, it was wrapped in lavash bread. The wrap is well packed and fresh with a good amount of sauce. The lamb shrawma plate has always been a hit. The rice is moist and the toppings along with the lamb was tasty and packed with flavor! I enjoyed the wrap, but not gonna lieee, I kept picking at my partner's plate instead! As for the ambiance, all Dish N Dash locations I've been to have always been well maintained and clean, lots of booths and seating. The service has been always been good and the staff is very nice. Living up to their name, I also like the system of ordering your food and paying ahead of time, sitting down and being served, and then quickly dashing away by following the easy clean up system. Next to the clean up system are also extra to-go boxes for you to grab when you're done dining! What's also nice is how there is a sauce bar open for use while dining and to-go! Here is a review for their private party/ event. Communication was clear and easy. They are flexible on menu and added requests. We have requested 50 people party but the space was crowded and cramped. We told them we come at 11:30am but food was not ready until 11:45am after I talked to the manager. Food comes slow and before everyone got their food some items ran out and around 15 people saw many dishes ran out on their first round. They do refill but not every wants to get up again. I do appreciate food made just in time but I wish refill time is shorter. Food quality is good. I need to make request for spoons and knives but they provided help fast. This place is great if there is no alcohol. If we have lunch with alcohol, all the table were super tight and bar chairs are very high I will have concerns some people drink a bit too much to sit on those tall chairs.
