I like many things about this restaurant. First, the food. Surprisingly for a chain restaurant, Dish N Dash has some of the tastiest Middle Eastern dishes out there. Their beef skewers are cooked perfectly and very tender. The spices their skewers are marinated in make them soooo delicious. Do not forget to try a few sauces from the dispensers at the front. Get yourself a sample of each. You'll easily find a favorite. I usually use the white sauce on my vegetables. The green sauce is somewhat reminiscent of chimichurri sauce at a Brazilian BBQ place, but this one is more minty in flavor. It's great for meat, especially the beef kebab. The light orange (almost flesh tone) sauce is a good alternative for those of you less adventurous and want something milder in flavor, but tasty nonetheless. Next, their sides...the hummus served here is spectacular. The baba Ganoush is delicious. I wish it came with more pita bread so I can just smear it all over the sides. The restaurant is very roomy and there are lots of tables. This is a busy place to eat during the lunch hour. Sometimes the lines can get long up front for ordering. Understandable because everyone working nearby knows how good the food is and thus it's usually packed during the lunch hour. I try to get here when they open or no later than 1130am. Sometimes I'll stop by after 1pm (take a late lunch) just to avoid the lines. Located in a shopping plaza with other businesses. There is ample parking but you may have to walk a little bit if you come here during the very busy lunch hour, unless you are lucky enough to see someone leaving a parking space close to the restaurant. read more

They gave us a big table inside but outdoor dining was also available. The dozen of us placed our orders which ranged up and down the menu. Our dishes arrived hot and timely. Service was prompt. Currently, you will need to order the food before having the table. I believe that's because of the recent change due to Covid-19. This makes it more like the way Carl's Jr has. Once you ordered and paid, you got a small device to bring with you. You then find a table and put the small device on your table. Had this bookmarked for a while and recently got to go with a friend! I went around 7 PM and there was a good amount of people inside and outside of the restaurant, although there was no one in line to order. I had no idea that you're supposed to order first and then either pick it up or have it delivered to you after. I assumed this was a sit down restaurant, but it's fine. There's also sauces available to you by the food pick up area, and I especially loved the spicy dip. The customer service was substantial-- sometimes I felt like they weren't open to questions or were impatient with my choices--but when my buzzer rang to pick up my meal, they immediately caught that they gave me the wrong protein and made it up right away. Went with the chicken kebab because it had good reviews and seemed flavorful. Something that always worries me about getting chicken while eating out is that I'm worried it might be dry, but this was not the case. It tasted great, had a nice char, and was juicy on the inside. There was aromatic rice and for my sides, I got the lentil soup and falafels. If you are deciding between meat or falafel as a main course, I would recommend getting falafel on the side since they give you four and that's enough to try it. The soup tasted great because it was cold outside. I also got pita bread and my friend didn't, and I assume it was because I needed to dip it in the soup? I'm not sure. We stayed until almost closing time and the restaurant got relaxed as the staff was cleaning up. I think the portion here is a bit over one meal for me, so I took the rest home for lunch the next day. The flavors were unbelievably good and I would have it again if I lived closer. Came here with some of my best friends for lunch to eat and catch up and it definitely was a great place to do that. Since they moved to a new location it's definitely got more space. Could do a little more decorations inside. As far as food I got the mansaf which is lamb chunks with basmati rice and it was delicious. I was so hungry I ate the whole thing. This is a good place for some Mediterranean cuisine and the food is amazing. I ordered the Ground lamb & beef kebab salad w/ 2 sides. 1. Pomegranate, eggplant, walnuts 2. Falafels The falafels were nice & crispy and the inside was warm & fluffy. The ground lamb & beef was tender and full of flavor, well cooked, and not too dry. The pomegranate, eggplant, and walnuts was okay. The Chips that came with the meal, was over seasoned and I couldn't even taste the chips because the seasoning was overpowering. So I eat at a Dish n Dash almost on the daily. The server/host at the Milpitas location (David) is the worst employee I've come across. This is my second time having an incident with him, the first time was in the bathroom. The guy turned off the light as he walked out. The last time which was today, he was extremely uncooperative. I don't normally leave reviews but since I'm an avid goer of this establishment I thought it was only right. I ordered my usual online and politely asked if I could get my food for here and he told me no. How hard would it have been to make an online order for here? He asked me if I wanted to speak with the Manager, for what? At that point I just ignored him l, got my food and sat in the bar area and ate. This location is a nice setup but the food is not as good as some of the other locations. Now I'm convinced the service is also quite bad. The food was really food and super unique. We are on the Mediterranean diet so it was nice to have a meal that was different from most of the Mediterranean plates we have been eating. The only thing a bit off putting was the front person who we ordered with. A younger female with zero customer service skills. The bar area is located on a right side of the restaurant away from the cashier. We placed our order and found a table. The tables are a combination of cocktail, booth and sit down tables. I thought once the buzzer vibrated we would get our orders up front but the server came to our table, which was nice. Food was great, tastes exactly the same from other Dish N Dash locations. I'm used to clearing my plates like at other locations but the busser came over and took away our plates. The managers checked in on us as we headed out. Sounds like it used to be a sit down place with service and now it is order at the counter and they bring the food out. The food was solid with good flavor. It hit my expectations for a reasonably priced meal without sit down service. Lots of veggy options for my group and meat options for me. Like the large outdoor space. Inside it did smell a bit strong of cleaning products. Glad it's clean but sat outside so we could enjoy the food more. Only downside and not the restaurant's fault but my car window was smashed and I parked about 4 cars deep from the entrance. Nothing in the rental car so not too big of a deal but others were also broken into near mine and it was 6pm. Police came quickly. read more

I typically love Dish N Dash and have reviewed them outstanding for other locations but I must say their salad game leaves a bit to be desired. The protein of my salad was chicken shawarma, and is generous enough as the photo shows, but they are a little stingy with the actual salad greens part. I ordered the "large salad with no sides" versus the other same priced option of "medium salad with two sides". The veggie and greens component of the salad looked about the size of a side salad, not a large. I'd be concerned what a medium sized salad looked like, and my protein to greens ratio was off. As a side note, my partners salad had zero mixed greens at all which was a clear mistake or mix-up, but that's my partners fault for not checking before leaving with the order, so I can't fault them as much. On the positive side, our cauliflower side was delish and my go-to Mansaf is always a crowd pleaser. I think I'll ditch the salads here for lunch unless it was just an off day. Update: the GM reached out to ensure this was not the typical experience which I appreciated! I will be back to retry their salad and update this review to reflect. read more

I was beyond impressed with the food here! Everything was delicious! We ordered, we're given a buzzer, and picked up our food to eat there when it was ready. As the evening progressed we saw tables getting served. Possibly because it got busy? That was different. The ambiance was so nice! Lighting was calming and the decor was beautiful! Nice and relaxing after a long stressful day. We saw a full bar on the other side of the dining room for any drink lovers out there!
