The waffle has zero flavor it was just straight flour I didn't bother sending it back but it was not edible I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The chicken tenders had zero seasoning at all just bland chicken. My espresso Martin and beignets were the only good thing.

Dish Society offers an amazing varieties of healthy and tasty food. Almost tastes like home cook and can tell on the quality. The atmosphere provides a clean, modern, and calm environment suitable for a fun brunch experience. Service was friendly and quick. Worth to try especially in this area!

    Matcha Martini

Andrew the bartender made my friend and me an absolutely delicious matcha martini, customized exactly to our request! It was so good that it deserves a spot on the menu. Not only was the drink amazing, but Andrew was also one of the sweetest and most attentive bartenders we've had. He made the experience even better with his friendly personality and great service. Highly recommend asking for him!

Katy location: Trust me when I say EVERYTHING was top notch from service to food...excellent! This location offered great food with a welcoming vibe. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles by both the managers and the wait staff. The team was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I loved is that there's seating both indoors and outdoors, so you can enjoy the beautiful weather while dining, especially this time of year when the holiday decorations are up. The restaurant is perfectly situated right in front of the central green space so my niece could play within view while we relaxed and enjoyed our meals, a total win-win! Now, about the food... Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS and packed with flavor. It's hard to pick just one dish to recommend, but if I had to, I'd say the cauliflower bites were my fav and are a definite must try. Perfectly seasoned with a little spicy kick. The beignets were another standout...light, crispy, and not overly sweet; plus it came with a little dipping sauce. I had the kale and mushroom pasta dish which was heaven for this pasta-loving girl. It was fresh and full of bold flavors. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite (and the added shrimp were HUGE). Don't forget to grab a matcha latte. I had the lavender flavor and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. Highly recommend as well.

We stopped by this morning for a quick breakfast after a long drive. The kids were excited to stretch their legs and run around outside before and after our meal. The food was great and was served in reasonable serving sizes -- enough to get us full but not to the point of feeling gross. Everything tasted fresh! Everyone was accommodating and helpful, too. The place felt clean and bright -- it was a great breakfast experience for the whole family. I'm so thankful my friend recommended this place. Can't wait to be back!

I have been a loyal Dish Society fan since 2018, and I keep coming back because everything they serve is fantastic, so it was time for a review. Their biscuits are absolutely delicious, and the shrimp and grits are always so tasty. I also love their lattes, perfectly crafted every time, and I adore that they always try to make cute latte art. The only thing I wish is that they'd have a calorie count on those biscuits...if anyone finds out, please let me know! Haha. Dish Society has earned a permanent spot on my list of brunch spots for their consistency.

Great spot for brunch! Food was all very solid. I quite enjoyed my shakshouka and tater tots!

While visiting the La Centerra Farmers Market, my family and I decided to try Dish Society, a Southern-style restaurant known for brunch and casual fare. Service at the counter was unwelcoming and unhelpful, which set a disappointing tone. We ordered a kid's breakfast platter, hot chicken sandwich, side pancake, and black beans. (I know some odd items but our youngest likes to snack). Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The chicken sandwich was overly salty with an extremely greasy bun, the pancake was dry and lacked flavor, and the black beans had an unusual taste. Only the kid's platter was somewhat enjoyable and 1/3 of it seemed to be jelly. Though I appreciate the hard work behind restaurant service, the overall experience did not justify the cost, and none of us left satisfied.

Update. Went to Dish Society for lunch and ordered the Texas Hot Chicken Sandwich and the deconstructed chicken pot pie. Like it is rare to find a place that doesn't miss!!!!!! The chicken pot pie was so soooo good. Tasted like someone's grandma was back there and whipped that up. The Texas hot chicken sandwich was so soooo good. Usually some chicken sandwiches aren't seasoned or fried good. Not the case with this sandwich. The chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned oh so good. And can we talk about bang for buck??? The portion sizes were huge. I definitely had leftovers for two days!!! This is going to be a staple for me while in Houston!

I normally like it here, but I'm not sure what happened today. I ask for a 9 ounce glass of wine $13 and I was given this... they run out of wine glasses?? I ask if this was correct and they said yes, it's just the different glass. Food was cold as well. Hopefully is not the new norm.

Dish Society was buzzing for Thanksgiving, but they still delivered! We ordered my husband's favorite coconut cream pie, and even with the huge holiday rush, the customer service exhibited by Byrena was excellent! She gets 5 thumbs up! Thank you Dish Society and Byrena for giving us our favorite pies back during the holidays!!

The food at Dish Society never disappoints. It's always reliable and I order often for lunch. Today I ordered lunch to be delivered via their app. I never received my order so I gave the store a call. Initially, I was extremely annoyed because the staff member appeared to be unsympathetic and said "we use a 3rd party service, so there is nothing we can do after the order is picked up." After I repeated to her I had ordered from the app and what she said didn't make any sense to me (I was admittedly condescending) she told me she would get the manager. Lindy, the manager from corporate who was there today luckily for me, told me she would remake my order and Personally deliver it to me. I couldn't believe the level of service and accommodation. Wow!!! The restaurant business is a tough one and I seldom do reviews but this was 1000% deserving of my time. Lindy, you are awesome and I appreciate you bringing me my lunch! You deserve a promotion!

Having ordered them once (to go) from this location as well as in-house at the Town & Country location, where they were very good both times, somebody was just a little off their game today. After living in Houston for…read more15 years and dining all over the city, this was by far the most disappointing restaurant experience we've had. What made it even more frustrating is that we've been to the Cypress location many times, and every single visit there has been exceptional -- great food, great service, and consistently enjoyable. Unfortunately, the La Centerra location was the complete opposite. We waited over an hour for our food, only to receive the wrong appetizer. The fajita plate arrived cold and without rice, beans, or tortillas. We sent both dishes back. The replacement appetizer -- ceviche tostadas -- finally arrived, but it was overloaded with lemon to the point of being unbearably sour. Meanwhile, there were still no tortillas, rice, or beans in sight. No drink refills, no updates, and barely any service during the entire wait. After another long stretch of waiting, we finally asked the server what was happening, only for her to return and tell us the kitchen was closing and they no longer had tortillas, rice, or beans available. At that point, after nearly 1.5 hours, we walked out with nothing but a to-go box of fajita meat. To the manager's credit, they removed the appetizer and fajita charges from the bill, but the experience itself left such a bad taste that it completely overshadowed the gesture. Extremely disappointing, especially compared to the excellent standards we've experienced at the Cypress location. Sadly, we will not be returning to this location.

As someone who has worked as a server before, I would never speak to customers that way. It felt unnecessary and rude. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

She brought me my cinnamon roll after I asked for a refund, I relayed that message to granddaughter. My review reflects on her unwelcoming hostess mentioned.. I was also met with pages of messages on Instagram from their personal page after this review that I KINDLY responded to on how they no longer served us. Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here. Today was my last straw. The experience and food is noticeably different when chef Lori is not here. For $80 I expect my food to come fresh and delivered with the rest of the tables food. I don't expect to sit down for 10 - 15 minutes to then be notified they are out of what I ordered. I've sat down for an extra 5 - 10 minutes and I saw 10 empty tables with no line. The whole experience here has gone downhill and rapidly fast. To say the least, I will not consider myself a regular here anymore. I added an old picture because I really use to enjoy this place.
