One of my favorite new boba places! I've had their hong kong style milk tea, hojicha milk tea, assam milk tea, and their honey lemon tea. Their teas are strong and flavorful. I hate drinking milk teas that are more milk than tea! Their boba is chewy and sweet the perfect combo for my drink! I love that they offer alternative milk and let you buy half gallons of their milk tea. Their customer service every time I go is on point and courteous. It would be great if this place had a no ice option like Tea & Others and other places that I don't know of yet that have no ice options. My friend and I both selected easy ice but there was still a considerable amount of ice in our drinks. I had the Mung Bean Latte and Salmon Onigiri. I liked the mung bean flavor. I'm guessing they use mung bean paste from the texture. It was just disappointing with all that ice melting (since I took my time to drink this thing) and leaving a bad taste. The boba was not bad. The onigiri was amazing. Very well-seasoned and packed with flavor. It was surprisingly quite spicy. It kind of came apart as I was trying to eat it. The Hong Kong Milk Tea tasted freshly brewed and was the perfect amount of sweetness. The Watermelon Matcha was deliciously refreshing, and I could taste real watermelon in my drink. I loved that they don't use any artificial flavoring in their drinks! The quality of their honey boba is one of the best I've come across, too, with just the right amount of chewiness. For snacks, we tried their popcorn chicken, another top menu item, and spam musubi to go along with the drinks. The spicy and savory flavors of the popcorn chicken perfectly complemented our drinks. Each piece of chicken was so juicy and packed with incredible flavor, and the spam musubi portions (they come with two pieces in a single order) were way more generous than most places! I am so glad District Tea is open during SIP! One thing I can't live without is boba. I like how they are offering half gallon teas so I can keep in my fridge and drink throughout the week. It wasn't overly sweet and best of all it's made fresh. I'm someone who doesn't like my drinks super sweet and enjoys boba drinks with real ingredients so this was perfect. A short walk from the Alamo Drafthouse Theater, this newly opened shop is a great place to stop after a movie. This place offers reasonably priced drinks in a cute, clean looking environment. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, and there was no line! We got the strawberry green tea and the mango coconut drink (not pictured). Both drinks had lots and lots of fresh fruit pieces in them, and weren't too sweet at all. There was a really good balance of tea and fruit flavors, so it was really a fruit tea, and not just fruit juice or just weirdly flavored tea. The "less" sweetness was perfect! The boba was not bad either, not the best boba I've ever had, but definitely one of the better ones.
