We had reservations and were seated in a reasonable amount of time in a booth for 6. The booth was too small and two of our guests in the corners were uncomfortable. The calamari pieces were small and had very little meat and was mostly breading. The paddle steak while good was not worth $79 dollars. The side was green beans and they were undercooked and were very scarce. The seafood salad was a disappointment. It lacked flavor and the quantity was thin. Our order didn't all arrive at the same time and my meal came about 10 minutes after everyone was served. No manager came over to acknowledge this. The server was decent but forgot my straw for half the meal. The highlight was the bread. It was definitely one of the better tasting items. Disappointed. read more

The food is good. The prices are good only time I haven't liked the food is whenever I order something new and I just don't like the taste of it. The first time I came here was with family for dinner in 2018 and had a phenomenal experience. I have become a regular Sunday brunch customer - amazing food and customer service as usual never a dull moment and not to mention it's a Chicago Bears Themed restaurant and I am a huge bears fan so I like this place a little bit more :) Definitely recommend trying everything as everything is pretty good ! I came here for a small work dinner with 15 people. We had a private room with two servers. It was really nice, and great service. I enjoyed the Reisling I ordered to drink. It was a perfect White wine for people that don't like sweet or dry wine. For appetizers we had bbq chicken quesadillas, spinach artichoke crostini, and bruschetta. They were all delicious. I liked that all of them were served in small portions (2-3 bites per piece). The bruschetta was on a thin bread and wasn't overwhelming. I didn't get overly full on apps so I was able to enjoy my dinner. For dinner I had the filet minion cooked medium well. It was cooked perfectly and a good portion size. Sides are served family style and feed about 2 people. I liked the mashed potatoes. My steak came with green beans, they were crisp and had a nice flavor. For dessert I had the crème brûlée. My husband and I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago. My parents highly recommended it, so we thought it would be great to celebrate with an early Father's Day lunch. Our server Amelia was so pleasant and accommodating! She had great recommendations for food and drinks, service was top-notch. I've been here for dinner in the past and all was good & well. But recently my friend had her baby shower here and we had such a great time, the staff were all so wonderful, the brunch was delicious & the event room was cozy but also away from the regular dining area which I liked. The following review is based on experiences before the COVID-19 pandemic: For an upscale restaurant, the prices here are surprisingly reasonable for delicious options such as berkshire pork chop, steaks, prime rib and seafood. This is served with professional service in a large dining room and comfortable seating. I enjoy how the meat here is not overly seasoned and relies on good cooking technique to really bring out the juiciness of the cuts and tastiness of the fat. The desserts here are also generously sized and delicious, like Mike's Ice Cream Pie and Creme Brulee. Overall, worth a visit for a special meal. Came in with my boyfriend on a weeknight for date night. Pros: Plenty of parking, super friendly service. Plenty of wine options (we went with a nice pinot grigio). The bread was delicious. My boyfriend got the surf n turf special which was a steak and crabcake. Only reason for loss of a star for me: pot roast sliders were slightly burned. Crabcake was chunky. I made reservation and specifically told them it's for a birthday celebration but no birthday dessert, nada. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful but the food was not to my expectation which was a let down. My boyfriend ordered the tomahawk and I ordered the filet mignon with the side of whipped potatoes, asparagus, and fries. The sides were delicious but my steak came out little overcooked which I didn't mind that much but it had no flavor which was a disappointment. I don't think I would return back. I was wondering about Ditka's as I had seen it multiple times when I come to Chicago for work and am driving around the Oak Brook/Westchester area. I did not want to have dinner at a 'hype' restaurant but the reviews looked pretty good so we went for it. SO glad we did... this is a special occasion or 'let's have a pricey dinner' type of place. Lot's of cool football/Bears memorabilia around so that is fun if you are a Bears fan. We were seated in a nice comfortable booth, white table cloth, linen napkins... you know the whole 9. Our server was very attentive from start to finish. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start, halfback filets, the jalapeno hashbrown and Elote to share. It was all absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. I had the Oscar style filet, my partner in this decadent crime did the crusted horseradish. Everything was wonderful. We both decided that the shrimp was probably the largest we had ever had. Our server then recommended the banana cream pie... and while we were stuffed we went for it. Totally worth it. I had lunch here with 2 old friends and we had a relaxing, enjoyable time. We were seated, given menus, and had our preferred drinks ordered right away. The service was seamless throughout the visit. The tables are spaced nicely apart which gave a nice roomy and less noisy feel to the restaurant (although we weren't exactly quiet). I had the Seafood Cobb Salad, one friend had the Southwestern Protein Salad and the other had a burger. All of us really liked our food. Although the pork chop, nachos, and burger are usually more my style, I have become more serious about watching my weight. I knew this place would have some healthy, yet tasty choices, and I was right. My salad was tasty and had nice large shrimp included along with lobster chunks. I have to reiterate how nice the service staff was. I don't usually like tying up a table for two hours, but we were talking up a storm, and it took quite awhile before we got around to ordering our food. They just kept refilling our drinks, and gave us attentive service without rushing us. It was an excellent choice by one of my friends, and I'll be back here for sure. I wish I could remember to take photos, because I do enjoy seeing pictures when other people do reviews. We had the best waitress last night while celebrating my husband's 43rd birthday. Her name is Ariana. I am in my third trimester and was so uncomfortable and anxious from trouble sleeping. I disclosed that to her and didn't judge me at all and was happy to help me and complimented me. She brought me camomile and made sure it was one that I could consume and a little teapot in case I needed more. She was very diligent to come over and ask if everything was ok with our food and also made sure my pork chop was cooked exactly the way I liked it. She even brought out the surprise dessert and a styrofoam cup to take my tea to go. The next time you go to Ditka's ask to be served by her because you won't regret it. read more

Ditka's in Oak Brook is always great. The food is served quickly and is hot and incredibly tasty. The server, I believe her name was Nancy, was the best: attentive, knowledgable- she answered all our questions- and friendly. They have complimentary parking, which you should take advantage of if you arrive after 6PM because the parking lot is small...before 6PM you may find a spot.
